לְפָנָ֑י before Me . lə·p̄ā·nāy הָאָד֣וֹן׀ Then the Lord hā·’ā·ḏō·wn אֲשֶׁר־ whom ’ă·šer- אַתֶּ֣ם you ’at·tem מְבַקְשִׁ֗ים seek mə·ḇaq·šîm וּפִתְאֹם֩ will suddenly ū·p̄iṯ·’ōm יָב֨וֹא come yā·ḇō·w אֶל־ to ’el- הֵיכָל֜וֹ His temple — hê·ḵā·lōw וּמַלְאַ֨ךְ the Messenger ū·mal·’aḵ הַבְּרִ֜ית of the covenant , hab·bə·rîṯ אֲשֶׁר־ in whom ’ă·šer- אַתֶּ֤ם you ’at·tem חֲפֵצִים֙ delight — ḥă·p̄ê·ṣîm הִנֵּה־ see , hin·nêh- בָ֔א He is coming , ” ḇā אָמַ֖ר says ’ā·mar יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָאֽוֹת׃ of Hosts . ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ Malachi 3:2 וּמִ֤י But who ū·mî מְכַלְכֵּל֙ can endure mə·ḵal·kêl אֶת־ - ’eṯ- י֣וֹם the day yō·wm בּוֹא֔וֹ of His coming ? bō·w·’ōw וּמִ֥י And who ū·mî הָעֹמֵ֖ד can stand hā·‘ō·mêḏ בְּהֵרָֽאוֹת֑וֹ when He appears ? bə·hê·rā·’ō·w·ṯōw כִּֽי־ For kî- הוּא֙ He hū מְצָרֵ֔ף will be like a refiner’s mə·ṣā·rêp̄ כְּאֵ֣שׁ fire , kə·’êš מְכַבְּסִֽים׃ [like] a launderer’s mə·ḵab·bə·sîm וּכְבֹרִ֖ית soap . ū·ḵə·ḇō·rîṯ Malachi 3:3 וְיָשַׁ֨ב And He will sit wə·yā·šaḇ מְצָרֵ֤ף as a refiner mə·ṣā·rêp̄ וּמְטַהֵר֙ and purifier ū·mə·ṭa·hêr כֶּ֔סֶף of silver ; ke·sep̄ וְטִהַ֤ר He will purify wə·ṭi·har אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּנֵֽי־ the sons bə·nê- לֵוִי֙ of Levi lê·wî וְזִקַּ֣ק and refine wə·ziq·qaq אֹתָ֔ם them ’ō·ṯām כַּזָּהָ֖ב like gold kaz·zā·hāḇ וְכַכָּ֑סֶף and silver . wə·ḵak·kā·sep̄ וְהָיוּ֙ . . . wə·hā·yū מַגִּישֵׁ֥י Then they will present mag·gî·šê מִנְחָ֖ה offerings min·ḥāh לַֽיהוָ֔ה to YHWH Yah·weh בִּצְדָקָֽה׃ in righteousness . biṣ·ḏā·qāh Malachi 3:4 מִנְחַ֥ת Then the offerings min·ḥaṯ יְהוּדָ֖ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וִירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם and Jerusalem wî·rū·šā·lim וְעָֽרְבָה֙ will please wə·‘ā·rə·ḇāh לַֽיהוָ֔ה YHWH , Yah·weh כִּימֵ֣י as in days kî·mê עוֹלָ֔ם of old ‘ō·w·lām וּכְשָׁנִ֖ים and years ū·ḵə·šā·nîm קַדְמֹנִיּֽוֹת׃ gone by . qaḏ·mō·nî·yō·wṯ Malachi 3:5 וְקָרַבְתִּ֣י “ Then I will draw near wə·qā·raḇ·tî אֲלֵיכֶם֮ to you ’ă·lê·ḵem לַמִּשְׁפָּט֒ for judgment . lam·miš·pāṭ וְהָיִ֣יתִי׀ And I will be wə·hā·yî·ṯî מְמַהֵ֗ר a swift mə·ma·hêr עֵ֣ד witness ‘êḏ בַּֽמְכַשְּׁפִים֙ against sorcerers bam·ḵaš·šə·p̄îm וּבַמְנָ֣אֲפִ֔ים and adulterers ū·ḇam·nā·’ă·p̄îm וּבַנִּשְׁבָּעִ֖ים and ū·ḇan·niš·bā·‘îm לַשָּׁ֑קֶר perjurers , laš·šā·qer וּבְעֹשְׁקֵ֣י against oppressors ū·ḇə·‘ō·šə·qê אַלְמָנָ֨ה of the widowed ’al·mā·nāh וְיָת֤וֹם and fatherless , wə·yā·ṯō·wm שְׂכַר־ and against those who defraud laborers śə·ḵa·r·śā- שָׂ֠כִיר of their wages ḵîr וּמַטֵּי־ and deny justice ū·maṭ·ṭê- גֵר֙ to the foreigner ḡêr וְלֹ֣א but do not wə·lō יְרֵא֔וּנִי fear Me , ” yə·rê·’ū·nî אָמַ֖ר says ’ā·mar יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָאֽוֹת׃ of Hosts . ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ Malachi 3:6 כִּ֛י “ Because kî אֲנִ֥י I , ’ă·nî יְהוָ֖ה YHWH , Yah·weh לֹ֣א do not lō
