וּלְנִדָּֽה׃ and impurity . ū·lə·nid·dāh Zechariah 13:2 וְהָיָה֩ And wə·hā·yāh הַה֜וּא on that ha·hū בַיּ֨וֹם day , ḇay·yō·wm נְאֻ֣ם׀ declares nə·’um יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֗וֹת of Hosts , ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אַכְרִ֞ית I will erase ’aḵ·rîṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שְׁמ֤וֹת the names šə·mō·wṯ הָֽעֲצַבִּים֙ of the idols hā·‘ă·ṣab·bîm מִן־ from min- הָאָ֔רֶץ the land , hā·’ā·reṣ וְלֹ֥א and they will no wə·lō ע֑וֹד longer ‘ō·wḏ וְגַ֧ם . . . wə·ḡam אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יִזָּכְר֖וּ be remembered . yiz·zā·ḵə·rū אַעֲבִ֥יר I will also remove ’a·‘ă·ḇîr הַנְּבִיאִ֛ים the prophets han·nə·ḇî·’îm וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- ר֥וּחַ the spirit rū·aḥ הַטֻּמְאָ֖ה of impurity haṭ·ṭum·’āh מִן־ from min- הָאָֽרֶץ׃ the land . hā·’ā·reṣ Zechariah 13:3 וְהָיָ֗ה And wə·hā·yāh כִּֽי־ if kî- אִישׁ֮ anyone ’îš עוֹד֒ still ‘ō·wḏ יִנָּבֵ֣א prophesies , yin·nā·ḇê אָבִ֨יו his father ’ā·ḇîw וְאִמּ֤וֹ and mother wə·’im·mōw יֹֽלְדָיו֙ who bore him yō·lə·ḏāw וְאָמְר֣וּ will say wə·’ā·mə·rū אֵ֠לָיו to him , ’ê·lāw לֹ֣א ‘ You shall not lō תִֽחְיֶ֔ה remain alive , ṯiḥ·yeh כִּ֛י because kî דִּבַּ֖רְתָּ you have spoken dib·bar·tā שֶׁ֥קֶר falsely še·qer בְּשֵׁ֣ם in the name bə·šêm יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH . ’ Yah·weh בְּהִנָּבְאֽוֹ׃ When he prophesies , bə·hin·nā·ḇə·’ōw אָבִ֧יהוּ his father ’ā·ḇî·hū וְאִמּ֛וֹ and mother wə·’im·mōw יֹלְדָ֖יו who bore him yō·lə·ḏāw וּדְקָרֻ֜הוּ will pierce him through . ū·ḏə·qā·ru·hū Zechariah 13:4 וְהָיָ֣ה׀ And wə·hā·yāh הַה֗וּא on that ha·hū בַּיּ֣וֹם day bay·yō·wm אִ֥ישׁ every ’îš הַנְּבִיאִ֛ים prophet han·nə·ḇî·’îm בְּהִנָּֽבְאֹת֑וֹ who prophesies bə·hin·nā·ḇə·’ō·ṯōw יֵבֹ֧שׁוּ will be ashamed yê·ḇō·šū מֵחֶזְיֹנ֖וֹ of his vision , mê·ḥez·yō·nōw וְלֹ֧א and he will not wə·lō יִלְבְּשׁ֛וּ put on yil·bə·šū שֵׂעָ֖ר a hairy śê·‘ār אַדֶּ֥רֶת cloak ’ad·de·reṯ לְמַ֥עַן in order to lə·ma·‘an כַּחֵֽשׁ׃ deceive . ka·ḥêš Zechariah 13:5 וְאָמַ֕ר He will say , wə·’ā·mar אָנֹ֑כִי ‘ I ’ā·nō·ḵî אִישׁ־ . . . ’îš- לֹ֥א am not lō נָבִ֖יא a prophet ; nā·ḇî אָנֹ֔כִי I ’ā·nō·ḵî עֹבֵ֤ד work ‘ō·ḇêḏ אֲדָמָה֙ the land , ’ă·ḏā·māh כִּ֥י for kî אָדָ֖ם vvv ’ā·ḏām הִקְנַ֥נִי I was purchased as a servant hiq·na·nî מִנְּעוּרָֽי׃ in my youth . ’ min·nə·‘ū·rāy Zechariah 13:6 וְאָמַ֣ר If someone asks wə·’ā·mar אֵלָ֔יו him , ’ê·lāw מָ֧ה ‘ What māh הָאֵ֖לֶּה are these hā·’êl·leh הַמַּכּ֛וֹת wounds ham·mak·kō·wṯ בֵּ֣ין on your chest bên יָדֶ֑יךָ . . . ?’ yā·ḏe·ḵā וְאָמַ֕ר he will answer , wə·’ā·mar אֲשֶׁ֥ר ‘ These are ’ă·šer הֻכֵּ֖יתִי the wounds I received huk·kê·ṯî בֵּ֥ית in the house bêṯ מְאַהֲבָֽי׃ס of my friends . ’ mə·’a·hă·ḇāy
