ס֣וּס the horses sūs הָֽעַמִּ֔ים of the nations . hā·‘am·mîm Zechariah 12:5 אַלֻּפֵ֥י Then the leaders ’al·lu·p̄ê יְהוּדָ֖ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וְאָֽמְר֛וּ will say wə·’ā·mə·rū בְּלִבָּ֑ם in their hearts : bə·lib·bām יֹשְׁבֵ֣י ‘ The people yō·šə·ḇê יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם of Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim אַמְצָ֥ה are my strength ’am·ṣāh לִי֙ , lî בַּיהוָ֥ה for YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֖וֹת of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃ [is] their God . ’ ’ĕ·lō·hê·hem Zechariah 12:6 הַה֡וּא On that ha·hū בַּיּ֣וֹם day bay·yō·wm אָשִׂים֩ I will make ’ā·śîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אַלֻּפֵ֨י the clans ’al·lu·p̄ê יְהוּדָ֜ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh כְּֽכִיּ֧וֹר like a firepot kə·ḵî·yō·wr אֵ֣שׁ . . . ’êš בְּעֵצִ֗ים in a woodpile , bə·‘ê·ṣîm אֵשׁ֙ like a flaming ’êš וּכְלַפִּ֥יד torch ū·ḵə·lap·pîḏ בְּעָמִ֔יר among the sheaves ; bə·‘ā·mîr וְאָ֨כְל֜וּ they will consume wə·’ā·ḵə·lū כָּל־ all kāl- הָעַמִּ֖ים the peoples hā·‘am·mîm סָבִ֑יב around them sā·ḇîḇ עַל־ on ‘al- יָמִ֧ין the right yā·mîn וְעַל־ and on wə·‘al- שְׂמֹ֛אול the left , śə·mō·wl אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְיָשְׁבָ֨ה while the people wə·yā·šə·ḇāh יְרוּשָׁלִַ֥ם of Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim ע֛וֹד remain ‘ō·wḏ תַּחְתֶּ֖יהָ secure taḥ·te·hā בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃פ [there] . bî·rū·šā·lim Zechariah 12:7 יְהוָ֛ה YHWH Yah·weh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְהוֹשִׁ֧יעַ will save wə·hō·wō·šî·a‘ אָהֳלֵ֥י the tents ’ā·ho·lê יְהוּדָ֖ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh בָּרִֽאשֹׁנָ֑ה first , bā·ri·šō·nāh לְמַ֨עַן so that lə·ma·‘an תִּפְאֶ֣רֶת the glory tip̄·’e·reṯ בֵּית־ of the house bêṯ- דָּוִ֗יד of David dā·wîḏ וְתִפְאֶ֛רֶת [and] wə·ṯip̄·’e·reṯ יֹשֵׁ֥ב of the people yō·šêḇ יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם of Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim לֹֽא־ may not lō- תִגְדַּ֜ל be greater ṯiḡ·dal עַל־ than ‘al- יְהוּדָֽה׃ that of Judah . yə·hū·ḏāh Zechariah 12:8 הַה֗וּא On that ha·hū בַּיּ֣וֹם day bay·yō·wm יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh בְּעַד֙ . . . bə·‘aḏ יָגֵ֤ן will defend yā·ḡên יוֹשֵׁ֣ב the people yō·wō·šêḇ יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם of Jerusalem , yə·rū·šā·lim הַה֖וּא so that ha·hū בַּיּ֥וֹם - bay·yō·wm הַנִּכְשָׁ֥ל the weakest han·niḵ·šāl בָּהֶ֛ם among them bā·hem וְהָיָ֞ה will be wə·hā·yāh כְּדָוִ֑יד like David , kə·ḏā·wîḏ וּבֵ֤ית and the house ū·ḇêṯ דָּוִיד֙ of David dā·wîḏ כֵּֽאלֹהִ֔ים will be like God , kê·lō·hîm כְּמַלְאַ֥ךְ like the angel kə·mal·’aḵ יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh לִפְנֵיהֶֽם׃ going before them . lip̄·nê·hem Zechariah 12:9 וְהָיָ֖ה So wə·hā·yāh הַה֑וּא on that ha·hū בַּיּ֣וֹם day bay·yō·wm אֲבַקֵּ֗שׁ I will set out ’ă·ḇaq·qêš לְהַשְׁמִיד֙ to destroy lə·haš·mîḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- הַגּוֹיִ֔ם the nations hag·gō·w·yim הַבָּאִ֖ים that come hab·bā·’îm עַל־ against ‘al-
