Zechariah 11:17 ה֣וֹי Woe hō·w הָֽאֱלִיל֙ to the worthless hā·’ĕ·lîl רֹעִ֤י shepherd , rō·‘î עֹזְבִ֣י who deserts ‘ō·zə·ḇî הַצֹּ֔אן the flock ! haṣ·ṣōn חֶ֥רֶב May a sword ḥe·reḇ עַל־ . . . ‘al- זְרוֹע֖וֹ strike his arm zə·rō·w·‘ōw וְעַל־ . . . wə·‘al- יְמִינ֑וֹ and his right yə·mî·nōw עֵ֣ין eye ! ‘ên זְרֹעוֹ֙ May his arm zə·rō·‘ōw יָב֣וֹשׁ be completely yā·ḇō·wōš תִּיבָ֔שׁ withered tî·ḇāš יְמִינ֖וֹ and his right yə·mî·nōw וְעֵ֥ין eye wə·‘ên כָּהֹ֥ה utterly blinded kā·hōh תִכְהֶֽה׃ס . . . ! ” ṯiḵ·heh Zechariah 12:1 מַשָּׂ֥א [This is] the burden maś·śā דְבַר־ of the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh עַל־ concerning ‘al- יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל Israel . yiś·rā·’êl נְאֻם־ [Thus] declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֗ה YHWH , Yah·weh נֹטֶ֤ה who stretches out nō·ṭeh שָׁמַ֙יִם֙ the heavens šā·ma·yim וְיֹסֵ֣ד and lays the foundation wə·yō·sêḏ אָ֔רֶץ of the earth , ’ā·reṣ וְיֹצֵ֥ר who forms wə·yō·ṣêr רֽוּחַ־ the spirit rū·aḥ- אָדָ֖ם of man ’ā·ḏām בְּקִרְבּֽוֹ׃פ within him : bə·qir·bōw Zechariah 12:2 הִנֵּ֣ה “ Behold , hin·nêh אָ֠נֹכִי I ’ā·nō·ḵî שָׂ֣ם will make śām אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְרוּשָׁלִַ֧ם Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim סַף־ a cup sap̄- רַ֛עַל of drunkenness ra·‘al לְכָל־ to all lə·ḵāl סָבִ֑יב the surrounding sā·ḇîḇ הָעַמִּ֖ים peoples . hā·‘am·mîm וְגַ֧ם wə·ḡam עַל־ - ‘al- יְהוּדָ֛ה Judah yə·hū·ḏāh יִֽהְיֶ֥ה will be yih·yeh בַמָּצ֖וֹר besieged , ḇam·mā·ṣō·wr עַל־ as well as ‘al- יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ Jerusalem . yə·rū·šā·lim Zechariah 12:3 וְהָיָ֣ה - wə·hā·yāh הַ֠הוּא On that ha·hū בַיּוֹם־ day , ḇay·yō·wm- כֹּ֖ל when all kōl גּוֹיֵ֥י the nations gō·w·yê הָאָֽרֶץ׃ of the earth hā·’ā·reṣ וְנֶאֶסְפ֣וּ gather wə·ne·’es·p̄ū עָלֶ֔יהָ against her , ‘ā·le·hā אָשִׂ֨ים I will make ’ā·śîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְרוּשָׁלִַ֜ם Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim מַֽעֲמָסָה֙ a heavy ma·‘ă·mā·sāh אֶ֤בֶן stone ’e·ḇen לְכָל־ for all lə·ḵāl הָ֣עַמִּ֔ים the peoples ; hā·‘am·mîm כָּל־ all kāl- עֹמְסֶ֖יהָ who would heave it away ‘ō·mə·se·hā שָׂר֣וֹט will be severely śā·rō·wṭ יִשָּׂרֵ֑טוּ injured . yiś·śā·rê·ṭū Zechariah 12:4 הַה֜וּא On that ha·hū בַּיּ֨וֹם day , bay·yō·wm נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֗ה YHWH , Yah·weh אַכֶּ֤ה I will strike ’ak·keh כָל־ every ḵāl סוּס֙ horse sūs בַּתִּמָּה֔וֹן with panic , bat·tim·mā·hō·wn וְרֹכְב֖וֹ and [every] rider wə·rō·ḵə·ḇōw בַּשִּׁגָּע֑וֹן with madness . baš·šig·gā·‘ō·wn אֶפְקַ֣ח I will keep a watchful ’ep̄·qaḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עֵינַ֔י eye ‘ê·nay וְעַל־ on wə·‘al- בֵּ֤ית the house bêṯ יְהוּדָה֙ of Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh אַכֶּ֖ה but I will strike ’ak·keh בַּֽעִוָּרֽוֹן׃ with blindness ba·‘iw·wā·rō·wn וְכֹל֙ all wə·ḵōl
