מַמְצִ֣יא to fall mam·ṣî אֶת־ ’eṯ- בְּיַד־ into the hands bə·yaḏ- רֵעֵ֙הוּ֙ of his neighbor rê·‘ê·hū וּבְיַ֣ד and ū·ḇə·yaḏ מַלְכּ֔וֹ his king , mal·kōw וְכִתְּתוּ֙ who will devastate wə·ḵit·tə·ṯū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאָ֔רֶץ the land , hā·’ā·reṣ וְלֹ֥א and I will not wə·lō אַצִּ֖יל deliver it ’aṣ·ṣîl מִיָּדָֽם׃ from their hands . ” mî·yā·ḏām Zechariah 11:7 וָֽאֶרְעֶה֙ So I pastured wā·’er·‘eh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- צֹ֣אן the flock ṣōn הַֽהֲרֵגָ֔ה marked for slaughter , ha·hă·rê·ḡāh לָכֵ֖ן especially lā·ḵên עֲנִיֵּ֣י the afflicted ‘ă·nî·yê הַצֹּ֑אן of the flock . haṣ·ṣōn וָאֶקַּֽח־ Then I took wā·’eq·qaḥ- לִ֞י for myself lî שְׁנֵ֣י two šə·nê מַקְל֗וֹת staffs , maq·lō·wṯ קָרָ֤אתִי calling qā·rā·ṯî לְאַחַ֞ד one lə·’a·ḥaḏ נֹ֙עַם֙ Favor nō·‘am וּלְאַחַד֙ and the other ū·lə·’a·ḥaḏ קָרָ֣אתִי . . . qā·rā·ṯî חֹֽבְלִ֔ים Union , ḥō·ḇə·lîm וָאֶרְעֶ֖ה and I pastured wā·’er·‘eh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַצֹּֽאן׃ the flock . haṣ·ṣōn Zechariah 11:8 אֶחָ֑ד And in one ’e·ḥāḏ בְּיֶ֣רַח month bə·ye·raḥ וָאַכְחִ֛ד I dismissed wā·’aḵ·ḥiḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת three šə·lō·šeṯ הָרֹעִ֖ים shepherds . hā·rō·‘îm נַפְשִׁי֙ My soul nap̄·šî וַתִּקְצַ֤ר grew impatient wat·tiq·ṣar בָּהֶ֔ם with [the flock] , bā·hem נַפְשָׁ֖ם and their souls nap̄·šām וְגַם־ also wə·ḡam- בָּחֲלָ֥ה detested bā·ḥă·lāh בִֽי׃ me . ḇî Zechariah 11:9 וָאֹמַ֕ר Then I said , wā·’ō·mar לֹ֥א “ I will no longer lō אֶרְעֶ֖ה shepherd you . ’er·‘eh אֶתְכֶ֑ם - ’eṯ·ḵem הַמֵּתָ֣ה Let the dying ham·mê·ṯāh תָמ֗וּת die , ṯā·mūṯ וְהַנִּכְחֶ֙דֶת֙ and the perishing wə·han·niḵ·ḥe·ḏeṯ תִּכָּחֵ֔ד perish ; tik·kā·ḥêḏ וְהַ֨נִּשְׁאָר֔וֹת and let those who remain wə·han·niš·’ā·rō·wṯ תֹּאכַ֕לְנָה devour tō·ḵal·nāh אִשָּׁ֖ה one ’iš·šāh אֶת־ ’eṯ- רְעוּתָֽהּ׃ another’s rə·‘ū·ṯāh בְּשַׂ֥ר flesh . ” bə·śar Zechariah 11:10 וָאֶקַּ֤ח Next I took wā·’eq·qaḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מַקְלִי֙ my staff maq·lî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נֹ֔עַם called Favor nō·‘am וָאֶגְדַּ֖ע and cut it in two , wā·’eḡ·da‘ אֹת֑וֹ - ’ō·ṯōw לְהָפֵיר֙ revoking lə·hā·p̄êr אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּרִיתִ֔י the covenant bə·rî·ṯî אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer כָּרַ֖תִּי I had made kā·rat·tî אֶת־ with ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- הָעַמִּֽים׃ the nations . hā·‘am·mîm Zechariah 11:11 וַתֻּפַ֖ר It was revoked wat·tu·p̄ar הַה֑וּא on that ha·hū בַּיּ֣וֹם day , bay·yō·wm כֵ֜ן and so ḵên עֲנִיֵּ֤י the afflicted ‘ă·nî·yê הַצֹּאן֙ of the flock haṣ·ṣōn הַשֹּׁמְרִ֣ים who were watching haš·šō·mə·rîm אֹתִ֔י me ’ō·ṯî וַיֵּדְע֨וּ knew way·yê·ḏə·‘ū כִּ֥י that kî הֽוּא׃ it hū
