וְגוֹיִ֣ם nations wə·ḡō·w·yim וּבָ֨אוּ will come ū·ḇā·’ū לְבַקֵּ֛שׁ to seek lə·ḇaq·qêš אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֖וֹת of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם in Jerusalem bî·rū·šā·lim וּלְחַלּ֖וֹת and to plead ū·lə·ḥal·lō·wṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- פְּנֵ֥י before pə·nê יְהוָֽה׃ס YHWH . ” Yah·weh Zechariah 8:23 כֹּ֥ה This is what kōh יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָאוֹת֒ of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אָמַר֮ says : ’ā·mar הָהֵ֔מָּה “ In those hā·hêm·māh אֲשֶׁ֤ר - ’ă·šer בַּיָּמִ֣ים days bay·yā·mîm עֲשָׂרָ֣ה ten ‘ă·śā·rāh אֲנָשִׁ֔ים men ’ă·nā·šîm הַגּוֹיִ֑ם from the nations hag·gō·w·yim מִכֹּ֖ל of every mik·kōl לְשֹׁנ֣וֹת tongue lə·šō·nō·wṯ יַחֲזִ֙יקוּ֙ will tightly ya·ḥă·zî·qū וְֽהֶחֱזִ֡יקוּ grasp wə·he·ḥĕ·zî·qū בִּכְנַף֩ the robe biḵ·nap̄ יְהוּדִ֜י of a Jew yə·hū·ḏî אִ֨ישׁ . . . , ’îš לֵאמֹ֗ר saying , lê·mōr נֵֽלְכָה֙ ‘ Let us go nê·lə·ḵāh עִמָּכֶ֔ם with you , ‘im·mā·ḵem כִּ֥י for kî שָׁמַ֖עְנוּ we have heard šā·ma‘·nū אֱלֹהִ֥ים that God ’ĕ·lō·hîm עִמָּכֶֽם׃ס is with you . ’” ‘im·mā·ḵem Zechariah 9:1 מַשָּׂ֤א [This is] the burden maś·śā דְבַר־ of the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָה֙ of YHWH Yah·weh בְּאֶ֣רֶץ against the land bə·’e·reṣ חַדְרָ֔ךְ of Hadrach ḥaḏ·rāḵ וְדַמֶּ֖שֶׂק and Damascus wə·ḏam·me·śeq מְנֻחָת֑וֹ its resting place — mə·nu·ḥā·ṯōw כִּ֤י for kî עֵ֣ין the eyes ‘ên אָדָ֔ם of men ’ā·ḏām וְכֹ֖ל and of all wə·ḵōl שִׁבְטֵ֥י the tribes šiḇ·ṭê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel yiś·rā·’êl לַֽיהוָה֙ are upon YHWH — Yah·weh Zechariah 9:2 וְגַם־ and also wə·ḡam- חֲמָ֖ת [against] Hamath , ḥă·māṯ תִּגְבָּל־ which borders tiḡ·bāl- בָּ֑הּ it , bāh צֹ֣ר as well as Tyre ṣōr וְצִיד֔וֹן and Sidon , wə·ṣî·ḏō·wn כִּ֥י though kî מְאֹֽד׃ they are very mə·’ōḏ חָֽכְמָ֖ה shrewd . ḥāḵ·māh Zechariah 9:3 צֹ֛ר Tyre ṣōr וַתִּ֥בֶן has built wat·ti·ḇen לָ֑הּ herself lāh מָצ֖וֹר a fortress ; mā·ṣō·wr וַתִּצְבָּר־ she has heaped up wat·tiṣ·bār- כֶּ֙סֶף֙ silver ke·sep̄ כֶּֽעָפָ֔ר like dust , ke·‘ā·p̄ār וְחָר֖וּץ and gold wə·ḥā·rūṣ כְּטִ֥יט like the dirt kə·ṭîṭ חוּצֽוֹת׃ of the streets . ḥū·ṣō·wṯ Zechariah 9:4 הִנֵּ֤ה Behold , hin·nêh אֲדֹנָי֙ the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יֽוֹרִשֶׁ֔נָּה will impoverish her yō·w·ri·šen·nāh וְהִכָּ֥ה and cast wə·hik·kāh חֵילָ֑הּ her wealth ḥê·lāh בַיָּ֖ם into the sea , ḇay·yām וְהִ֖יא and she wə·hî תֵּאָכֵֽל׃ will be consumed tê·’ā·ḵêl בָּאֵ֥שׁ by fire . bā·’êš Zechariah 9:5 אַשְׁקְל֜וֹן Ashkelon ’aš·qə·lō·wn תֵּרֶ֨א will see tê·re וְתִירָ֗א and fear ; wə·ṯî·rā וְעַזָּה֙ Gaza wə·‘az·zāh מְאֹ֔ד will writhe in agony mə·’ōḏ
