שִׁפְט֖וּ . . . šip̄·ṭū בְּשַׁעֲרֵיכֶֽם׃ in your gates , bə·ša·‘ă·rê·ḵem Zechariah 8:17 וְאִ֣ישׁ׀ - wə·’îš אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אַֽל־ do not ’al- תַּחְשְׁבוּ֙ plot taḥ·šə·ḇū רָעַ֣ת evil rā·‘aṯ בִּלְבַבְכֶ֔ם in your hearts bil·ḇaḇ·ḵem רֵעֵ֗הוּ against your neighbor , rê·‘ê·hū אַֽל־ and do not ’al- תֶּאֱהָ֑בוּ love te·’ĕ·hā·ḇū וּשְׁבֻ֥עַת to swear ū·šə·ḇu·‘aṯ שֶׁ֖קֶר falsely , še·qer כִּ֧י for kî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שָׂנֵ֖אתִי I hate śā·nê·ṯî כָּל־ all kāl- אֵ֛לֶּה these things , ” ’êl·leh אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָֽה׃ס YHWH . Yah·weh Zechariah 8:18 דְּבַר־ Then the word də·ḇar- יְהוָ֥ה of YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֖וֹת of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ וַיְהִ֛י came way·hî אֵלַ֥י to me , ’ê·lay לֵאמֹֽר׃ saying , lê·mōr Zechariah 8:19 כֹּֽה־ “ This is what kōh- יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֗וֹת of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אָמַ֞ר says : ’ā·mar צ֣וֹם The fasts ṣō·wm הָרְבִיעִ֡י of the fourth , hā·rə·ḇî·‘î וְצ֣וֹם - wə·ṣō·wm הַחֲמִישִׁי֩ the fifth , ha·ḥă·mî·šî וְצ֨וֹם - wə·ṣō·wm הַשְּׁבִיעִ֜י the seventh , haš·šə·ḇî·‘î וְצ֣וֹם and wə·ṣō·wm הָעֲשִׂירִ֗י the tenth [months] hā·‘ă·śî·rî יִהְיֶ֤ה will become yih·yeh לְשָׂשׂ֣וֹן times of joy lə·śā·śō·wn וּלְשִׂמְחָ֔ה and gladness , ū·lə·śim·ḥāh טוֹבִ֑ים cheerful ṭō·w·ḇîm וּֽלְמֹעֲדִ֖ים feasts ū·lə·mō·‘ă·ḏîm לְבֵית־ for the house lə·ḇêṯ- יְהוּדָה֙ of Judah . yə·hū·ḏāh אֱהָֽבוּ׃פ Therefore you are to love ’ĕ·hā·ḇū וְהָאֱמֶ֥ת [both] truth wə·hā·’ĕ·meṯ וְהַשָּׁל֖וֹם and peace . ” wə·haš·šā·lō·wm Zechariah 8:20 כֹּ֥ה This is what kōh יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֑וֹת of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אָמַ֖ר says : ’ā·mar עַמִּ֔ים “ Peoples ‘am·mîm עֹ֚ד will yet ‘ōḏ אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer יָבֹ֣אוּ come — yā·ḇō·’ū וְיֹשְׁבֵ֖י the residents wə·yō·šə·ḇê רַבּֽוֹת׃ of many rab·bō·wṯ עָרִ֥ים cities — ‘ā·rîm Zechariah 8:21 יֹשְׁבֵי֩ and the residents yō·šə·ḇê אַחַ֨ת of one ’a·ḥaṯ וְֽהָלְכ֡וּ city will go wə·hā·lə·ḵū אֶל־ to ’el- אַחַ֜ת another , ’a·ḥaṯ לֵאמֹ֗ר saying : lê·mōr נֵלְכָ֤ה ‘ Let us go nê·lə·ḵāh הָלוֹךְ֙ . . . hā·lō·wḵ לְחַלּוֹת֙ at once to plead lə·ḥal·lō·wṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- פְּנֵ֣י before pə·nê יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh וּלְבַקֵּ֖שׁ and to seek ū·lə·ḇaq·qêš אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֑וֹת of Hosts . ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אָֽנִי׃ I ’ā·nî גַּם־ myself gam- אֵלְכָ֖ה am going . ’ ’ê·lə·ḵāh Zechariah 8:22 רַבִּים֙ And many rab·bîm עַמִּ֤ים peoples ‘am·mîm עֲצוּמִ֔ים and strong ‘ă·ṣū·mîm
