גַּם־ should it also gam- יִפָּלֵ֔א be impossible yip·pā·lê בְּעֵינַי֙ in My eyes ? ” bə·‘ê·nay נְאֻ֖ם declares nə·’um יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָאֽוֹת׃פ of Hosts . ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ Zechariah 8:7 כֹּ֤ה This is what kōh יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֔וֹת of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ הִנְנִ֥י . . . hin·nî אָמַר֙ says : ’ā·mar מוֹשִׁ֛יעַ “ I will save mō·wō·šî·a‘ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עַמִּ֖י My people ‘am·mî מֵאֶ֣רֶץ from the land mê·’e·reṣ מִזְרָ֑ח of the east miz·rāḥ וּמֵאֶ֖רֶץ and from the land ū·mê·’e·reṣ מְב֥וֹא of mə·ḇō·w הַשָּֽׁמֶשׁ׃ the west . haš·šā·meš Zechariah 8:8 וְהֵבֵאתִ֣י I will bring them wə·hê·ḇê·ṯî אֹתָ֔ם {back} ’ō·ṯām וְשָׁכְנ֖וּ to dwell wə·šā·ḵə·nū בְּת֣וֹךְ in bə·ṯō·wḵ יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם Jerusalem , yə·rū·šā·lim וְהָיוּ־ where they will be wə·hā·yū- לִ֣י My lî לְעָ֗ם people , lə·‘ām וַֽאֲנִי֙ and I wa·’ă·nî אֶהְיֶ֤ה will be ’eh·yeh לָהֶם֙ their lā·hem בֶּאֱמֶ֖ת faithful be·’ĕ·meṯ וּבִצְדָקָֽה׃ס and righteous ū·ḇiṣ·ḏā·qāh לֵֽאלֹהִ֔ים God . ” lê·lō·hîm Zechariah 8:9 כֹּֽה־ This is what kōh- יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָאוֹת֒ of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אָמַר֮ says : ’ā·mar יְדֵיכֶ֔ם “ Let your hands yə·ḏê·ḵem תֶּחֱזַ֣קְנָה be strong , te·ḥĕ·zaq·nāh בַּיָּמִ֣ים you who now bay·yā·mîm הָאֵ֔לֶּה . . . hā·’êl·leh אֵ֖ת - ’êṯ הַשֹּֽׁמְעִים֙ hear haš·šō·mə·‘îm הָאֵ֑לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh הַדְּבָרִ֣ים words had·də·ḇā·rîm אֲ֠שֶׁר spoken ’ă·šer מִפִּי֙ . . . mip·pî הַנְּבִיאִ֔ים by the prophets han·nə·ḇî·’îm בְּי֞וֹם [who were present] when bə·yō·wm יֻסַּ֨ד the foundations were laid yus·saḏ לְהִבָּנֽוֹת׃ to rebuild lə·hib·bā·nō·wṯ הַהֵיכָ֖ל the temple , ha·hê·ḵāl בֵּית־ the house bêṯ- יְהוָ֧ה of YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֛וֹת of Hosts . ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ Zechariah 8:10 כִּ֗י For kî לִפְנֵי֙ before lip̄·nê הָהֵ֔ם those hā·hêm הַיָּמִ֣ים days hay·yā·mîm לֹ֣א neither lō הָֽאָדָם֙ man hā·’ā·ḏām אֵינֶ֑נָּה nor ’ê·nen·nāh הַבְּהֵמָ֖ה beast hab·bə·hê·māh נִֽהְיָ֔ה received nih·yāh וּשְׂכַ֥ר . . . ū·śə·ḵar שְׂכַ֤ר wages , śə·ḵar אֵין־ nor was there ’ên- שָׁלוֹם֙ safety šā·lō·wm מִן־ from min- הַצָּ֔ר the enemy haṣ·ṣār וְלַיּוֹצֵ֨א for anyone who came wə·lay·yō·w·ṣê וְלַבָּ֤א or went , wə·lab·bā וַאֲשַׁלַּ֥ח for I had turned wa·’ă·šal·laḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ every kāl- הָאָדָ֖ם man hā·’ā·ḏām אִ֥ישׁ . . . ’îš בְּרֵעֵֽהוּ׃ against his neighbor . bə·rê·‘ê·hū Zechariah 8:11 וְעַתָּ֗ה But now wə·‘at·tāh אֲנִ֔י I ’ă·nî לֹ֣א will not treat lō לִשְׁאֵרִ֖ית the remnant liš·’ê·rîṯ הַזֶּ֑ה of this haz·zeh הָעָ֣ם people hā·‘ām הָרִֽאשֹׁנִים֙ as I did in the past hā·ri·šō·nîm
