הֲלִיכ֥וֹת ways [are] hă·lî·ḵō·wṯ עוֹלָ֖ם everlasting . ‘ō·w·lām Habakkuk 3:7 רָאִ֖יתִי I saw rā·’î·ṯî אָהֳלֵ֣י the tents ’ā·ho·lê כוּשָׁ֑ן of Cushan ḵū·šān תַּ֣חַת in ta·ḥaṯ אָ֔וֶן distress ; ’ā·wen יְרִיע֖וֹת the curtains yə·rî·‘ō·wṯ אֶ֥רֶץ vvv ’e·reṣ מִדְיָֽן׃ס of Midian miḏ·yān יִרְגְּז֕וּן were trembling . yir·gə·zūn Habakkuk 3:8 חָרָ֣ה Were You angry ḥā·rāh הֲבִנְהָרִים֙ at the rivers , hă·ḇin·hā·rîm יְהוָ֔ה O YHWH ? Yah·weh אִ֤ם Was ’im אַפֶּ֔ךָ Your wrath ’ap·pe·ḵā אִם־ . . . ’im- בַּנְּהָרִים֙ against the streams ? ban·nə·hā·rîm עֶבְרָתֶ֑ךָ Did You rage ‘eḇ·rā·ṯe·ḵā בַּיָּ֖ם against the sea bay·yām כִּ֤י when kî תִרְכַּב֙ You rode ṯir·kaḇ עַל־ on ‘al- סוּסֶ֔יךָ Your horses , sū·se·ḵā מַרְכְּבֹתֶ֖יךָ on Your chariots mar·kə·ḇō·ṯe·ḵā יְשׁוּעָֽה׃ of salvation ? yə·šū·‘āh Habakkuk 3:9 עֶרְיָ֤ה You brandished ‘er·yāh תֵעוֹר֙ . . . ṯê·‘ō·wr קַשְׁתֶּ֔ךָ Your bow ; qaš·te·ḵā אֹ֣מֶר You called for ’ō·mer שְׁבֻע֥וֹת . . . šə·ḇu·‘ō·wṯ מַטּ֖וֹת many arrows . maṭ·ṭō·wṯ סֶ֑לָה Selah se·lāh תְּבַקַּע־ You split tə·ḇaq·qa‘- אָֽרֶץ׃ the earth ’ā·reṣ נְהָר֖וֹת with rivers . nə·hā·rō·wṯ Habakkuk 3:10 הָרִ֔ים The mountains hā·rîm רָא֤וּךָ saw You rā·’ū·ḵā יָחִ֙ילוּ֙ [and] quaked ; yā·ḥî·lū זֶ֥רֶם torrents ze·rem מַ֖יִם of water ma·yim עָבָ֑ר swept by . ‘ā·ḇār תְּהוֹם֙ The deep tə·hō·wm נָתַ֤ן roared nā·ṯan קוֹל֔וֹ with its voice qō·w·lōw נָשָֽׂא׃ and lifted nā·śā יָדֵ֥יהוּ its hands yā·ḏê·hū ר֖וֹם on high . rō·wm Habakkuk 3:11 שֶׁ֥מֶשׁ Sun še·meš יָרֵ֖חַ and moon yā·rê·aḥ עָ֣מַד stood still ‘ā·maḏ זְבֻ֑לָה in their places zə·ḇu·lāh לְא֤וֹר at the flash lə·’ō·wr יְהַלֵּ֔כוּ of Your flying yə·hal·lê·ḵū חִצֶּ֙יךָ֙ arrows , ḥiṣ·ṣe·ḵā לְנֹ֖גַהּ at the brightness lə·nō·ḡah בְּרַ֥ק of Your shining bə·raq חֲנִיתֶֽךָ׃ spear . ḥă·nî·ṯe·ḵā Habakkuk 3:12 תִּצְעַד־ You marched tiṣ·‘aḏ- אָ֑רֶץ across the earth ’ā·reṣ בְּזַ֖עַם with fury ; bə·za·‘am תָּד֥וּשׁ You threshed tā·ḏūš גּוֹיִֽם׃ the nations gō·w·yim בְּאַ֖ף in wrath . bə·’ap̄ Habakkuk 3:13 יָצָ֙אתָ֙ You went forth yā·ṣā·ṯā לְיֵ֣שַׁע for the salvation lə·yê·ša‘ עַמֶּ֔ךָ of Your people , ‘am·me·ḵā לְיֵ֖שַׁע to save lə·yê·ša‘ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מְשִׁיחֶ֑ךָ Your anointed . mə·šî·ḥe·ḵā מָחַ֤צְתָּ You crushed mā·ḥaṣ·tā רֹּאשׁ֙ the head rōš מִבֵּ֣ית of the house mib·bêṯ רָשָׁ֔ע of the wicked rā·šā‘ עָר֛וֹת and stripped him ‘ā·rō·wṯ צַוָּ֖אר from head ṣaw·wār עַד־ to ‘aḏ- יְס֥וֹד toe . yə·sō·wḏ סֶֽלָה׃פ Selah se·lāh
