ה֣וּא Can it hū יוֹרֶ֔ה give guidance ? yō·w·reh הִנֵּה־ Behold , hin·nêh- ה֗וּא it [is] hū תָּפוּשׂ֙ overlaid tā·p̄ūś זָהָ֣ב with gold zā·hāḇ וָכֶ֔סֶף and silver , wā·ḵe·sep̄ אֵ֥ין yet there is no ’ên ר֖וּחַ breath rū·aḥ בְּקִרְבּֽוֹ׃ in bə·qir·bōw וְכָל־ it at all . ” wə·ḵāl Habakkuk 2:20 וַֽיהוָ֖ה But YHWH Yah·weh קָדְשׁ֑וֹ is in His holy qā·ḏə·šōw בְּהֵיכַ֣ל temple ; bə·hê·ḵal כָּל־ let all kāl- הָאָֽרֶץ׃פ the earth hā·’ā·reṣ הַ֥ס be silent has מִפָּנָ֖יו before Him . mip·pā·nāw Habakkuk 3:1 תְּפִלָּ֖ה [This is] a prayer tə·p̄il·lāh לַחֲבַקּ֣וּק of Habakkuk la·ḥă·ḇaq·qūq הַנָּבִ֑יא the prophet , han·nā·ḇî עַ֖ל according to ‘al שִׁגְיֹנֽוֹת׃ Shigionoth : šiḡ·yō·nō·wṯ Habakkuk 3:2 יְהוָ֗ה O YHWH , Yah·weh שָׁמַ֣עְתִּי I have heard šā·ma‘·tî שִׁמְעֲךָ֮ the report of You ; šim·‘ă·ḵā יָרֵאתִי֒ I stand in awe , yā·rê·ṯî יְהוָ֗ה O YHWH , Yah·weh פָּֽעָלְךָ֙ of Your deeds . pā·‘ā·lə·ḵā חַיֵּ֔יהוּ Revive them ḥay·yê·hū בְּקֶ֤רֶב in bə·qe·reḇ שָׁנִים֙ these years ; šā·nîm תּוֹדִ֑יעַ make them known tō·w·ḏî·a‘ בְּקֶ֥רֶב in bə·qe·reḇ שָׁנִ֖ים these years . šā·nîm בְּרֹ֖גֶז In Your wrath , bə·rō·ḡez תִּזְכּֽוֹר׃ remember tiz·kō·wr רַחֵ֥ם mercy ! ra·ḥêm Habakkuk 3:3 אֱל֙וֹהַ֙ God ʾɛ̆·lō·ha יָב֔וֹא came yā·ḇō·w מִתֵּימָ֣ן from Teman , mit·tê·mān וְקָד֥וֹשׁ and the Holy One wə·qā·ḏō·wōš מֵֽהַר־ from Mount mê·har- פָּארָ֖ן Paran . pā·rān סֶ֑לָה Selah se·lāh הוֹד֔וֹ His glory hō·w·ḏōw כִּסָּ֤ה covered kis·sāh שָׁמַ֙יִם֙ the heavens , šā·ma·yim וּתְהִלָּת֖וֹ and His praise ū·ṯə·hil·lā·ṯōw מָלְאָ֥ה filled mā·lə·’āh הָאָֽרֶץ׃ the earth . hā·’ā·reṣ Habakkuk 3:4 וְנֹ֙גַהּ֙ [His] radiance wə·nō·ḡah תִּֽהְיֶ֔ה was tih·yeh כָּא֣וֹר like the sunlight ; kā·’ō·wr קַרְנַ֥יִם rays [flashed] qar·na·yim מִיָּד֖וֹ from His hand mî·yā·ḏōw ל֑וֹ , lōw וְשָׁ֖ם where wə·šām עֻזֹּֽה׃ His power ʿuz·zōh חֶבְי֥וֹן is hidden . ḥeḇ·yō·wn Habakkuk 3:5 דָּ֑בֶר Plague dā·ḇer יֵ֣לֶךְ went yê·leḵ לְפָנָ֖יו before Him , lə·p̄ā·nāw רֶ֖שֶׁף and fever re·šep̄ וְיֵצֵ֥א followed wə·yê·ṣê לְרַגְלָֽיו׃ in His steps . lə·raḡ·lāw Habakkuk 3:6 עָמַ֣ד׀ He stood ‘ā·maḏ וַיְמֹ֣דֶד and measured way·mō·ḏeḏ אֶ֗רֶץ the earth ; ’e·reṣ רָאָה֙ He looked rā·’āh וַיַּתֵּ֣ר and startled way·yat·têr גּוֹיִ֔ם the nations ; gō·w·yim עַ֔ד the ancient ‘aḏ הַרְרֵי־ mountains har·rê- וַיִּתְפֹּֽצְצוּ֙ crumbled ; way·yiṯ·pō·ṣə·ṣū עוֹלָ֑ם the perpetual ‘ō·w·lām גִּבְע֣וֹת hills giḇ·‘ō·wṯ שַׁח֖וּ collapsed . ša·ḥū לֽוֹ׃ His lōw
