Genesis 9:9 הִנְנִ֥י “ Behold , hin·nî וַאֲנִ֕י I now wa·’ă·nî מֵקִ֛ים establish mê·qîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּרִיתִ֖י My covenant bə·rî·ṯî אִתְּכֶ֑ם with you ’it·tə·ḵem וְאֶֽת־ and your wə·’eṯ- זַרְעֲכֶ֖ם descendants zar·‘ă·ḵem אַֽחֲרֵיכֶֽם׃ after you , ’a·ḥă·rê·ḵem Genesis 9:10 וְאֵ֨ת and with wə·’êṯ כָּל־ every kāl- הַֽחַיָּה֙ living ha·ḥay·yāh נֶ֤פֶשׁ creature ne·p̄eš אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer אִתְּכֶ֔ם [was] with you — ’it·tə·ḵem בָּע֧וֹף the birds , bā·‘ō·wp̄ בַּבְּהֵמָ֛ה the livestock , bab·bə·hê·māh וּֽבְכָל־ and every ū·ḇə·ḵāl חַיַּ֥ת beast ḥay·yaṯ הָאָ֖רֶץ of the earth hā·’ā·reṣ אִתְּכֶ֑ם - — ’it·tə·ḵem מִכֹּל֙ every mik·kōl חַיַּ֥ת living thing ḥay·yaṯ הָאָֽרֶץ׃ . . . hā·’ā·reṣ יֹצְאֵ֣י that came out yō·ṣə·’ê הַתֵּבָ֔ה of the ark hat·tê·ḇāh לְכֹ֖ל . . . . lə·ḵōl Genesis 9:11 וַהֲקִמֹתִ֤י And I establish wa·hă·qi·mō·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּרִיתִי֙ My covenant bə·rî·ṯî אִתְּכֶ֔ם with you : ’it·tə·ḵem וְלֹֽא־ Never wə·lō- ע֖וֹד again ‘ō·wḏ כָּל־ will all kāl- בָּשָׂ֛ר life bā·śār יִכָּרֵ֧ת be cut off yik·kā·rêṯ מִמֵּ֣י by the waters mim·mê הַמַּבּ֑וּל of a flood ; ham·mab·būl וְלֹֽא־ never wə·lō- ע֛וֹד again ‘ō·wḏ יִהְיֶ֥ה will there be yih·yeh מַבּ֖וּל a flood mab·būl לְשַׁחֵ֥ת to destroy lə·ša·ḥêṯ הָאָֽרֶץ׃ the earth . ” hā·’ā·reṣ Genesis 9:12 אֱלֹהִ֗ים And God ’ĕ·lō·hîm וַיֹּ֣אמֶר said , way·yō·mer זֹ֤את “ This zōṯ אֽוֹת־ is the sign ’ō·wṯ- הַבְּרִית֙ of the covenant hab·bə·rîṯ אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- אֲנִ֣י I ’ă·nî נֹתֵ֗ן am making nō·ṯên בֵּינִי֙ between Me bê·nî וּבֵ֣ינֵיכֶ֔ם and you ū·ḇê·nê·ḵem וּבֵ֛ין and ū·ḇên כָּל־ every kāl- חַיָּ֖ה living ḥay·yāh אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer נֶ֥פֶשׁ creature ne·p̄eš אִתְּכֶ֑ם with you , ’it·tə·ḵem לְדֹרֹ֖ת [a covenant] for all generations lə·ḏō·rōṯ עוֹלָֽם׃ to come : ‘ō·w·lām Genesis 9:13 אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נָתַ֖תִּי I have set nā·ṯat·tî קַשְׁתִּ֕י My rainbow qaš·tî בֶּֽעָנָ֑ן in the clouds , be·‘ā·nān וְהָֽיְתָה֙ and it will be wə·hā·yə·ṯāh לְא֣וֹת a sign lə·’ō·wṯ בְּרִ֔ית of the covenant bə·rîṯ בֵּינִ֖י between bê·nî וּבֵ֥ין Me ū·ḇên הָאָֽרֶץ׃ and the earth . hā·’ā·reṣ Genesis 9:14 וְהָיָ֕ה - wə·hā·yāh בְּעַֽנְנִ֥י Whenever I form bə·‘an·nî עָנָ֖ן clouds ‘ā·nān עַל־ over ‘al- הָאָ֑רֶץ the earth hā·’ā·reṣ הַקֶּ֖שֶׁת and the rainbow haq·qe·šeṯ וְנִרְאֲתָ֥ה appears wə·nir·’ă·ṯāh בֶּעָנָֽן׃ in the clouds , be·‘ā·nān Genesis 9:15 וְזָכַרְתִּ֣י I will remember wə·zā·ḵar·tî
