Hosea 2:11 וְהִשְׁבַּתִּי֙ I will put an end wə·hiš·bat·tî כָּל־ to all kāl- מְשׂוֹשָׂ֔הּ her exultation : mə·śō·w·śāh חַגָּ֖הּ her feasts , ḥag·gāh חָדְשָׁ֣הּ New Moons , ḥā·ḏə·šāh וְשַׁבַּתָּ֑הּ and Sabbaths — wə·šab·bat·tāh וְכֹ֖ל all wə·ḵōl מוֹעֲדָֽהּ׃ her appointed feasts . mō·w·‘ă·ḏāh Hosea 2:12 וַהֲשִׁמֹּתִ֗י I will destroy wa·hă·šim·mō·ṯî גַּפְנָהּ֙ her vines gap̄·nāh וּתְאֵ֣נָתָ֔הּ and fig trees , ū·ṯə·’ê·nā·ṯāh אֲשֶׁ֣ר which ’ă·šer אָמְרָ֗ה she thinks ’ā·mə·rāh הֵ֙מָּה֙ - hêm·māh לִ֔י lî אֶתְנָ֥ה are the wages ’eṯ·nāh אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer נָֽתְנוּ־ paid nā·ṯə·nū- לִ֖י lî מְאַֽהֲבָ֑י by her lovers . mə·’a·hă·ḇāy וְשַׂמְתִּ֣ים So I will make them wə·śam·tîm לְיַ֔עַר into a thicket , lə·ya·‘ar חַיַּ֥ת and the beasts ḥay·yaṯ הַשָּׂדֶֽה׃ of the field haś·śā·ḏeh וַאֲכָלָ֖תַם will devour them . wa·’ă·ḵā·lā·ṯam Hosea 2:13 וּפָקַדְתִּ֣י I will punish ū·p̄ā·qaḏ·tî עָלֶ֗יהָ her ‘ā·le·hā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְמֵ֤י for the days yə·mê הַבְּעָלִים֙ of the Baals hab·bə·‘ā·lîm אֲשֶׁ֣ר when ’ă·šer תַּקְטִ֣יר she burned incense to them , taq·ṭîr לָהֶ֔ם . . . lā·hem וַתַּ֤עַד when she decked herself wat·ta·‘aḏ נִזְמָהּ֙ with rings niz·māh וְחֶלְיָתָ֔הּ and jewelry , wə·ḥel·yā·ṯāh וַתֵּ֖לֶךְ and went wat·tê·leḵ אַחֲרֵ֣י after ’a·ḥă·rê מְאַהֲבֶ֑יהָ her lovers . mə·’a·hă·ḇe·hā וְאֹתִ֥י But Me wə·’ō·ṯî שָׁכְחָ֖ה she forgot , ” šā·ḵə·ḥāh נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָֽה׃פ YHWH . Yah·weh Hosea 2:14 לָכֵ֗ן “ Therefore , lā·ḵên הִנֵּ֤ה behold , hin·nêh אָֽנֹכִי֙ I ’ā·nō·ḵî מְפַתֶּ֔יהָ will allure her mə·p̄at·te·hā וְהֹֽלַכְתִּ֖יהָ and lead her wə·hō·laḵ·tî·hā הַמִּדְבָּ֑ר to the wilderness , ham·miḏ·bār וְדִבַּרְתִּ֖י and speak wə·ḏib·bar·tî עַל to her ʿal לִבָּֽהּ׃ tenderly . lib·bāh Hosea 2:15 מִשָּׁ֔ם There miš·šām וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- וְנָתַ֨תִּי I will give back wə·nā·ṯat·tî כְּרָמֶ֙יהָ֙ her vineyards kə·rā·me·hā לָ֤הּ lāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עֵ֥מֶק and make the Valley ‘ê·meq עָכ֖וֹר of Achor ‘ā·ḵō·wr לְפֶ֣תַח into a gateway lə·p̄e·ṯaḥ תִּקְוָ֑ה of hope . tiq·wāh שָּׁ֙מָּה֙ There šām·māh וְעָ֤נְתָה she will respond as she did wə·‘ā·nə·ṯāh כִּימֵ֣י in the days kî·mê נְעוּרֶ֔יהָ of her youth , nə·‘ū·re·hā וִּכְי֖וֹם as in the day wiḵ·yōm עֲלֹתָ֥הּ she came up ‘ă·lō·ṯāh מֵאֶֽרֶץ־ out mê·’e·reṣ- מִצְרָֽיִם׃ס of Egypt . miṣ·rā·yim Hosea 2:16 וְהָיָ֤ה - wə·hā·yāh הַהוּא֙ In that ha·hū בַיּוֹם־ day , ” ḇay·yō·wm- נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֔ה YHWH , Yah·weh תִּקְרְאִ֖י “ you will call Me tiq·rə·’î אִישִׁ֑י ‘ my Husband , ’ ’î·šî וְלֹֽא־ and no wə·lō- ע֖וֹד longer ‘ō·wḏ תִקְרְאִי־ call ṯiq·rə·’î- לִ֥י Me lî בַּעְלִֽי׃ ‘ my Master . ’ ba‘·lî
