אֲשֶׁ֥ר which ’ă·šer לֹֽא־ cannot lō- יִמַּ֖ד be measured yim·maḏ וְלֹ֣א [or] wə·lō יִסָּפֵ֑ר counted . yis·sā·p̄êr וְֽ֠הָיָה And it will happen that wə·hā·yāh בִּמְק֞וֹם in the [very] place bim·qō·wm אֲשֶׁר־ where ’ă·šer- יֵאָמֵ֤ר it was said yê·’ā·mêr לָהֶם֙ to them , lā·hem אַתֶּ֔ם ‘ You ’at·tem לֹֽא־ [are] not lō- עַמִּ֣י My people , ’ ‘am·mî יֵאָמֵ֥ר they will be called yê·’ā·mêr לָהֶ֖ם . . . lā·hem בְּנֵ֥י ‘ sons bə·nê חָֽי׃ of the living ḥāy אֵֽל־ God . ’ ’êl- Hosea 1:11 בְּנֵֽי־ Then the people bə·nê- יְהוּדָ֤ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וּבְנֵֽי־ [and] ū·ḇə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ of Israel yiś·rā·’êl וְ֠נִקְבְּצוּ will be gathered wə·niq·bə·ṣū יַחְדָּ֔ו together , yaḥ·dāw וְשָׂמ֥וּ and they will appoint wə·śā·mū לָהֶ֛ם for themselves lā·hem אֶחָ֖ד one ’e·ḥāḏ רֹ֥אשׁ leader , rōš וְעָל֣וּ and will go up wə·‘ā·lū מִן־ out min- הָאָ֑רֶץ of the land . hā·’ā·reṣ כִּ֥י For kî גָד֖וֹל great [will be] ḡā·ḏō·wl י֥וֹם the day yō·wm יִזְרְעֶֽאל׃ of Jezreel . [’’] yiz·rə·‘el Hosea 2:1 אִמְר֥וּ [“] Say ’im·rū לַאֲחֵיכֶ֖ם of your brothers , la·’ă·ḥê·ḵem עַמִּ֑י ‘ My people , ’ ‘am·mî וְלַאֲחֽוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם and of your sisters , wə·la·’ă·ḥō·w·ṯê·ḵem רֻחָֽמָה׃ ‘ My loved one . ’ ru·ḥā·māh Hosea 2:2 רִ֤יבוּ Rebuke rî·ḇū בְאִמְּכֶם֙ your mother , ḇə·’im·mə·ḵem רִ֔יבוּ rebuke her , rî·ḇū כִּֽי־ for kî- הִיא֙ she hî לֹ֣א is not lō אִשְׁתִּ֔י My wife , ’iš·tî וְאָנֹכִ֖י and I wə·’ā·nō·ḵî לֹ֣א am not lō אִישָׁ֑הּ her husband . ’î·šāh וְתָסֵ֤ר Let her remove wə·ṯā·sêr זְנוּנֶ֙יהָ֙ the adultery zə·nū·ne·hā מִפָּנֶ֔יה from her face mip·på̄·nɛh וְנַאֲפוּפֶ֖יהָ and the unfaithfulness wə·na·’ă·p̄ū·p̄e·hā מִבֵּ֥ין from between mib·bên שָׁדֶֽיהָ׃ her breasts . šā·ḏe·hā Hosea 2:3 פֶּן־ Otherwise , pen- אַפְשִׁיטֶ֣נָּה I will strip her ’ap̄·šî·ṭen·nāh עֲרֻמָּ֔ה naked ‘ă·rum·māh וְהִ֨צַּגְתִּ֔יהָ and expose her wə·hiṣ·ṣaḡ·tî·hā כְּי֖וֹם like the day kə·yō·wm הִוָּֽלְדָ֑הּ of her birth . hiw·wā·lə·ḏāh וְשַׂמְתִּ֣יהָ I will make her wə·śam·tî·hā כַמִּדְבָּ֗ר like a desert ḵam·miḏ·bār וְשַׁתִּ֙הָ֙ and turn her into wə·šat·ti·hā צִיָּ֔ה a parched ṣî·yāh כְּאֶ֣רֶץ land , kə·’e·reṣ וַהֲמִתִּ֖יהָ and I will let her die wa·hă·mit·tî·hā בַּצָּמָֽא׃ of thirst . baṣ·ṣā·mā Hosea 2:4 וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- לֹ֣א I will have no lō אֲרַחֵ֑ם compassion ’ă·ra·ḥêm בָּנֶ֖יהָ on her children , bā·ne·hā כִּֽי־ because kî- הֵֽמָּה׃ they hêm·māh בְנֵ֥י are the children ḇə·nê זְנוּנִ֖ים of adultery . zə·nū·nîm Hosea 2:5 כִּ֤י For kî אִמָּ֔ם their mother ’im·mām זָֽנְתָה֙ has played the harlot zā·nə·ṯāh הֽוֹרָתָ֑ם and has conceived them hō·w·rā·ṯām הֹבִ֖ישָׁה in disgrace . hō·ḇî·šāh
