Daniel 10:13 וְשַׂ֣ר׀ However, the prince wə·śar מַלְכ֣וּת of the kingdom mal·ḵūṯ פָּרַ֗ס of Persia pā·ras עֹמֵ֤ד opposed ‘ō·mêḏ לְנֶגְדִּי֙ me lə·neḡ·dî עֶשְׂרִ֣ים for twenty-one ‘eś·rîm וְאֶחָ֣ד . . . wə·’e·ḥāḏ י֔וֹם days . yō·wm וְהִנֵּ֣ה . . . wə·hin·nêh מִֽיכָאֵ֗ל Then Michael , mî·ḵā·’êl אַחַ֛ד one ’a·ḥaḏ הָרִאשֹׁנִ֖ים of the chief hā·ri·šō·nîm הַשָּׂרִ֥ים princes , haś·śā·rîm בָּ֣א came bā לְעָזְרֵ֑נִי to help me , lə·‘ā·zə·rê·nî וַאֲנִי֙ for I wa·’ă·nî נוֹתַ֣רְתִּי had been left nō·w·ṯar·tî שָׁ֔ם there šām אֵ֖צֶל with ’ê·ṣel מַלְכֵ֥י the kings mal·ḵê פָרָֽס׃ of Persia . p̄ā·rās Daniel 10:14 וּבָ֙אתִי֙ Now I have come ū·ḇā·ṯî לַהֲבִ֣ינְךָ֔ to explain to you la·hă·ḇî·nə·ḵā אֵ֛ת - ’êṯ אֲשֶׁר־ what ’ă·šer- יִקְרָ֥ה will happen yiq·rāh לְעַמְּךָ֖ to your people lə·‘am·mə·ḵā בְּאַחֲרִ֣ית in the latter bə·’a·ḥă·rîṯ הַיָּמִ֑ים days , hay·yā·mîm כִּי־ for kî- ע֥וֹד . . . ‘ō·wḏ חָז֖וֹן the vision ḥā·zō·wn לַיָּמִֽים׃ concerns those days . ” lay·yā·mîm Daniel 10:15 וּבְדַבְּר֣וֹ While he was speaking ū·ḇə·ḏab·bə·rōw הָאֵ֑לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh כַּדְּבָרִ֖ים words kad·də·ḇā·rîm עִמִּ֔י to me , ‘im·mî נָתַ֧תִּי I set nā·ṯat·tî פָנַ֛י my face p̄ā·nay אַ֖רְצָה toward the ground ’ar·ṣāh וְנֶאֱלָֽמְתִּי׃ and became speechless . wə·ne·’ĕ·lā·mə·tî Daniel 10:16 וְהִנֵּ֗ה And suddenly wə·hin·nêh כִּדְמוּת֙ [one] with the likeness kiḏ·mūṯ בְּנֵ֣י vvv bə·nê אָדָ֔ם of a man ’ā·ḏām נֹגֵ֖עַ touched nō·ḡê·a‘ עַל־ . . . ‘al- שְׂפָתָ֑י my lips , śə·p̄ā·ṯāy וָאֶפְתַּח־ and I opened wā·’ep̄·taḥ- פִּ֗י my mouth pî וָאֲדַבְּרָה֙ . . . wā·’ă·ḏab·bə·rāh וָאֹֽמְרָה֙ and said wā·’ō·mə·rāh אֶל־ to ’el- הָעֹמֵ֣ד the one standing hā·‘ō·mêḏ לְנֶגְדִּ֔י before me , lə·neḡ·dî אֲדֹנִ֗י “ My lord , ’ă·ḏō·nî בַּמַּרְאָה֙ because of the vision , bam·mar·’āh נֶהֶפְכ֤וּ I am overcome ne·hep̄·ḵū צִירַי֙ with anguish ṣî·ray עָלַ֔י . . . , ‘ā·lay עָצַ֖רְתִּי and I have ‘ā·ṣar·tî וְלֹ֥א no wə·lō כֹּֽחַ׃ strength . kō·aḥ Daniel 10:17 וְהֵ֣יךְ How wə·hêḵ יוּכַ֗ל can I , yū·ḵal אֲדֹנִי֙ [your] ’ă·ḏō·nî זֶ֔ה . . . zeh עֶ֤בֶד servant , ‘e·ḇeḏ לְדַבֵּ֖ר speak lə·ḏab·bêr עִם־ with ‘im- זֶ֑ה [you] , zeh אֲדֹ֣נִי my lord ? ’ă·ḏō·nî מֵעַ֙תָּה֙ Now mê·‘at·tāh וַאֲנִ֤י I wa·’ă·nî יַעֲמָד־ have ya·‘ă·māḏ- בִּ֣י bî לֹֽא־ no lō- כֹ֔חַ strength , ḵō·aḥ לֹ֥א nor lō וּנְשָׁמָ֖ה is any breath ū·nə·šā·māh נִשְׁאֲרָה־ left niš·’ă·rāh- בִֽי׃ in me . ” ḇî Daniel 10:18 וַיֹּ֧סֶף Again way·yō·sep̄
