Daniel 10:3 אָכַ֗לְתִּי I ate ’ā·ḵal·tî לֹ֣א no lō חֲמֻד֞וֹת rich ḥă·mu·ḏō·wṯ לֶ֣חֶם food , le·ḥem לֹא־ no lō- וּבָשָׂ֥ר meat ū·ḇā·śār וָיַ֛יִן or wine wā·ya·yin בָ֥א entered ḇā אֶל־ . . . ’el- פִּ֖י my mouth , pî לֹא־ and I did not lō- וְס֣וֹךְ anoint myself with oil wə·sō·wḵ סָ֑כְתִּי . . . sā·ḵə·tî עַד־ until ‘aḏ- שְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת the three šə·lō·šeṯ שָׁבֻעִ֖ים weeks šā·ḇu·‘îm יָמִֽים׃פ . . . yā·mîm מְלֹ֕את were completed . mə·lōṯ Daniel 10:4 עֶשְׂרִ֥ים On the twenty-fourth ‘eś·rîm וְאַרְבָּעָ֖ה . . . wə·’ar·bā·‘āh וּבְי֛וֹם day ū·ḇə·yō·wm הָרִאשׁ֑וֹן of the first hā·ri·šō·wn לַחֹ֣דֶשׁ month , la·ḥō·ḏeš וַאֲנִ֗י as I wa·’ă·nî הָיִ֛יתִי was hā·yî·ṯî עַ֣ל standing on ‘al יַ֧ד the bank yaḏ הַגָּד֖וֹל of the great hag·gā·ḏō·wl ה֥וּא . . . hū הַנָּהָ֛ר river , han·nā·hār חִדָּֽקֶל׃ the Tigris , ḥid·dā·qel Daniel 10:5 וָאֶשָּׂ֤א I lifted up wā·’eś·śā אֶת־ ’eṯ- עֵינַי֙ my eyes , ‘ê·nay וָאֵ֔רֶא vvv wā·’ê·re וְהִנֵּ֥ה and behold , wə·hin·nêh אֶחָ֖ד there was a certain ’e·ḥāḏ אִישׁ־ man ’îš- לָב֣וּשׁ dressed lā·ḇūš בַּדִּ֑ים in linen , bad·dîm חֲגֻרִ֖ים with a belt ḥă·ḡu·rîm בְּכֶ֥תֶם of fine gold bə·ḵe·ṯem אוּפָֽז׃ from Uphaz ’ū·p̄āz וּמָתְנָ֥יו around his waist . ū·mā·ṯə·nāw Daniel 10:6 וּגְוִיָּת֣וֹ His body [was] ū·ḡə·wî·yā·ṯōw כְתַרְשִׁ֗ישׁ like beryl , ḵə·ṯar·šîš וּפָנָ֞יו his face ū·p̄ā·nāw כְּמַרְאֵ֤ה like the brilliance kə·mar·’êh בָרָק֙ of lightning , ḇā·rāq וְעֵינָיו֙ his eyes wə·‘ê·nāw אֵ֔שׁ like flaming ’êš כְּלַפִּ֣ידֵי torches , kə·lap·pî·ḏê וּזְרֹֽעֹתָיו֙ his arms ū·zə·rō·‘ō·ṯāw וּמַרְגְּלֹתָ֔יו and legs ū·mar·gə·lō·ṯāw כְּעֵ֖ין like the gleam kə·‘ên קָלָ֑ל of polished qā·lāl נְחֹ֣שֶׁת bronze , nə·ḥō·šeṯ וְק֥וֹל and wə·qō·wl דְּבָרָ֖יו his voice də·ḇā·rāw כְּק֥וֹל like the sound kə·qō·wl הָמֽוֹן׃ of a multitude . hā·mō·wn Daniel 10:7 לְבַדִּי֙ Only lə·ḇad·dî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲנִ֨י I , ’ă·nî דָנִיֵּ֤אל Daniel , ḏā·nî·yêl וְרָאִיתִי֩ saw wə·rā·’î·ṯî הַמַּרְאָ֔ה the vision ; ham·mar·’āh וְהָאֲנָשִׁים֙ the men wə·hā·’ă·nā·šîm אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer הָי֣וּ - hā·yū עִמִּ֔י with me ‘im·mî לֹ֥א did not lō רָא֖וּ see it rā·’ū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַמַּרְאָ֑ה - , ham·mar·’āh אֲבָ֗ל but ’ă·ḇāl גְדֹלָה֙ a great ḡə·ḏō·lāh חֲרָדָ֤ה terror ḥă·rā·ḏāh נָפְלָ֣ה fell nā·p̄ə·lāh עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם upon them , ‘ă·lê·hem וַֽיִּבְרְח֖וּ and they ran way·yiḇ·rə·ḥū בְּהֵחָבֵֽא׃ and hid themselves . bə·hê·ḥā·ḇê Daniel 10:8 וַאֲנִי֙ So I wa·’ă·nî נִשְׁאַ֣רְתִּי was left alone niš·’ar·tî לְבַדִּ֔י . . . , lə·ḇad·dî
