Daniel 9:6 וְלֹ֤א We have not wə·lō שָׁמַ֙עְנוּ֙ listened šā·ma‘·nū אֶל־ to ’el- עֲבָדֶ֣יךָ Your servants ‘ă·ḇā·ḏe·ḵā הַנְּבִיאִ֔ים the prophets , han·nə·ḇî·’îm אֲשֶׁ֤ר who ’ă·šer דִּבְּרוּ֙ spoke dib·bə·rū בְּשִׁמְךָ֔ in Your name bə·šim·ḵā אֶל־ to ’el- מְלָכֵ֥ינוּ our kings , mə·lā·ḵê·nū שָׂרֵ֖ינוּ leaders , śā·rê·nū וַאֲבֹתֵ֑ינוּ and fathers , wa·’ă·ḇō·ṯê·nū וְאֶ֖ל and wə·’el כָּל־ to all kāl- עַ֥ם the people ‘am הָאָֽרֶץ׃ of the land . hā·’ā·reṣ Daniel 9:7 לְךָ֤ To You , lə·ḵā אֲדֹנָי֙ O Lord , ’ă·ḏō·nāy הַצְּדָקָ֔ה [belongs] righteousness haṣ·ṣə·ḏā·qāh וְלָ֛נוּ , wə·lā·nū הַזֶּ֑ה but this haz·zeh כַּיּ֣וֹם day kay·yō·wm הַפָּנִ֖ים we are covered hap·pā·nîm בֹּ֥שֶׁת with shame — bō·šeṯ לְאִ֤ישׁ the men lə·’îš יְהוּדָה֙ of Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh וּלְיוֹשְׁבֵ֣י the people ū·lə·yō·wō·šə·ḇê יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֔ם of Jerusalem , yə·rū·šā·lim וּֽלְכָל־ and all ū·lə·ḵāl- יִשְׂרָאֵ֞ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl הַקְּרֹבִ֣ים near haq·qə·rō·ḇîm וְהָרְחֹקִ֗ים and far , wə·hā·rə·ḥō·qîm בְּכָל־ in all bə·ḵāl הָֽאֲרָצוֹת֙ the countries hā·’ă·rā·ṣō·wṯ אֲשֶׁ֣ר to which ’ă·šer הִדַּחְתָּ֣ם You have driven us hid·daḥ·tām שָׁ֔ם . . . šām בְּמַעֲלָ֖ם because of our unfaithfulness bə·ma·‘ă·lām אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer מָֽעֲלוּ־ mā·‘ă·lū- בָֽךְ׃ to You . ḇāḵ Daniel 9:8 יְהוָ֗ה O YHWH , Yah·weh לָ֚נוּ we lā·nū הַפָּנִ֔ים are covered hap·pā·nîm בֹּ֣שֶׁת with shame — bō·šeṯ לִמְלָכֵ֥ינוּ our kings , lim·lā·ḵê·nū לְשָׂרֵ֖ינוּ our leaders , lə·śā·rê·nū וְלַאֲבֹתֵ֑ינוּ and our fathers — wə·la·’ă·ḇō·ṯê·nū אֲשֶׁ֥ר because ’ă·šer חָטָ֖אנוּ we have sinned ḥā·ṭā·nū לָֽךְ׃ against You . lāḵ Daniel 9:9 לַֽאדֹנָ֣י To the Lord la·ḏō·nāy אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ our God ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū הָרַחֲמִ֖ים [belong] compassion hā·ra·ḥă·mîm וְהַסְּלִח֑וֹת and forgiveness , wə·has·sə·li·ḥō·wṯ כִּ֥י even though kî מָרַ֖דְנוּ we have rebelled mā·raḏ·nū בּֽוֹ׃ against Him bōw Daniel 9:10 וְלֹ֣א and have not wə·lō שָׁמַ֔עְנוּ obeyed šā·ma‘·nū בְּק֖וֹל the voice bə·qō·wl יְהוָ֣ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ our God ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū לָלֶ֤כֶת to walk lā·le·ḵeṯ בְּתֽוֹרֹתָיו֙ in His laws , bə·ṯō·w·rō·ṯāw אֲשֶׁ֣ר which ’ă·šer נָתַ֣ן He set nā·ṯan לְפָנֵ֔ינוּ before us lə·p̄ā·nê·nū בְּיַ֖ד through bə·yaḏ עֲבָדָ֥יו His servants ‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw הַנְּבִיאִֽים׃ the prophets . han·nə·ḇî·’îm Daniel 9:11 וְכָל־ All wə·ḵāl יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl עָֽבְרוּ֙ has transgressed ‘ā·ḇə·rū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- תּ֣וֹרָתֶ֔ךָ Your law tō·w·rā·ṯe·ḵā וְס֕וֹר and turned away , wə·sō·wr לְבִלְתִּ֖י refusing lə·ḇil·tî שְׁמ֣וֹעַ to obey šə·mō·w·a‘ בְּקֹלֶ֑ךָ Your voice ; bə·qō·le·ḵā הָאָלָ֣ה so the oath hā·’ā·lāh וְהַשְּׁבֻעָ֗ה and the curse wə·haš·šə·ḇu·‘āh
