אֱלָהָ֗ךְ has your God , ’ĕ·lā·hāḵ דִּ֣י whom dî אַנְתָּה you ʾan·tå̄h פָּֽלַֽח־ serve pā·laḥ- לֵהּ֙ lêh בִּתְדִירָ֔א continually , biṯ·ḏî·rā הַיְכִ֥ל been able hay·ḵil לְשֵׁיזָבוּתָ֖ךְ to deliver you lə·šê·zā·ḇū·ṯāḵ מִן־ from min- אַרְיָוָתָֽא׃ the lions ? ” ’ar·yā·wā·ṯā Daniel 6:21 אֱדַ֙יִן֙ Then ’ĕ·ḏa·yin דָּנִיֶּ֔אל Daniel dā·nî·yel מַלִּ֑ל replied mal·lil עִם־ - ‘im- מַלְכָּ֖א - , mal·kā מַלְכָּ֖א “ O king , mal·kā חֱיִֽי׃ may you live ḥĕ·yî לְעָלְמִ֥ין forever ! lə·‘ā·lə·mîn Daniel 6:22 אֱלָהִ֞י My God ’ĕ·lā·hî שְׁלַ֣ח sent šə·laḥ מַלְאֲכֵ֗הּ His angel mal·’ă·ḵêh וּֽסֲגַ֛ר and shut ū·să·ḡar פֻּ֥ם the mouths pum אַרְיָוָתָ֖א of the lions . ’ar·yā·wā·ṯā וְלָ֣א They have not wə·lā חַבְּל֑וּנִי hurt me , ḥab·bə·lū·nî כָּל־ . . . kāl- קֳבֵ֗ל for qo·ḇêl דִּ֤י . . . dî הִשְׁתְּכַ֣חַת I was found hiš·tə·ḵa·ḥaṯ לִ֔י lî זָכוּ֙ innocent zā·ḵū קָֽדָמ֙וֹהִי֙ in His sight , qā·ḏā·mō·w·hî וְאַ֤ף and wə·’ap̄ עַבְדֵֽת׃ I have done ‘aḇ·ḏêṯ לָ֥א no lā חֲבוּלָ֖ה wrong ḥă·ḇū·lāh קָדָמַיִךְ against you , qå̄·ḏå̄·ma·yiḵ מַלְכָּ֔א O king . ” mal·kā Daniel 6:23 בֵּאדַ֣יִן - bê·ḏa·yin מַלְכָּ֗א The king mal·kā שַׂגִּיא֙ was overjoyed śag·gî טְאֵ֣ב . . . ṭə·’êḇ עֲל֔וֹהִי . . . ‘ă·lō·w·hî אֲמַ֖ר and gave orders ’ă·mar לְהַנְסָקָ֣ה to lift lə·han·sā·qāh וּלְדָ֣נִיֵּ֔אל Daniel ū·lə·ḏā·nî·yêl מִן־ out of min- גֻּבָּ֑א the den , gub·bā דָּנִיֵּ֜אל and when Daniel dā·nî·yêl וְהֻסַּ֨ק was lifted wə·hus·saq מִן־ out of min- גֻּבָּ֗א the den , gub·bā וְכָל־ - wə·ḵāl לָא־ no lā- חֲבָל֙ wounds whatsoever ḥă·ḇāl הִשְׁתְּכַ֣ח were found hiš·tə·ḵaḥ בֵּ֔הּ on him , bêh דִּ֖י because dî הֵימִ֥ן he had trusted hê·min בֵּאלָהֵֽהּ׃ in his God . bê·lā·hêh Daniel 6:24 וַאֲמַ֣ר At the command wa·’ă·mar מַלְכָּ֗א of the king , mal·kā אִלֵּךְ֙ the ’il·lêḵ גֻּבְרַיָּ֤א men guḇ·ray·yā דִּֽי־ who dî- אֲכַ֤לוּ had falsely accused ’ă·ḵa·lū קַרְצ֙וֹהִי֙ . . . qar·ṣō·w·hî דִּ֣י . . . dî דָֽנִיֵּ֔אל Daniel ḏā·nî·yêl וְהַיְתִ֞יו were brought wə·hay·ṯîw רְמ֔וֹ and thrown rə·mōw וּלְגֹ֤ב into the den ū·lə·ḡōḇ אַרְיָוָתָא֙ of lions — ’ar·yā·wā·ṯā אִנּ֖וּן they ’in·nūn בְּנֵיה֣וֹן and their children bə·nê·hō·wn וּנְשֵׁיה֑וֹן and wives . ū·nə·šê·hō·wn וְלָֽא־ And before wə·lā- מְט֞וֹ they had reached mə·ṭōw לְאַרְעִ֣ית the bottom lə·’ar·‘îṯ גֻּבָּ֗א of the den , gub·bā עַ֠ד - ‘aḏ דִּֽי־ - dî- אַרְיָ֣וָתָ֔א the lions ’ar·yā·wā·ṯā שְׁלִ֤טֽוּ overpowered šə·li·ṭū בְהוֹן֙ them ḇə·hō·wn הַדִּֽקוּ׃ and crushed had·di·qū וְכָל־ all wə·ḵāl
