וּמִן־fromū·min-

יֵאכֻ֔לHe ateyê·ḵul
וְעִשְׂבָּ֤אgrasswə·‘iś·bā
כְתוֹרִין֙ like an ox , ḵə·ṯō·w·rîn
גִּשְׁמֵ֣הּand his bodygiš·mêh
יִצְטַבַּ֑עwas drenchedyiṣ·ṭab·ba‘
וּמִטַּ֥לwith the dewū·miṭ·ṭal
שְׁמַיָּ֖א of heaven , šə·may·yā
עַ֣דuntil‘aḏ
דִּ֥י. . .
שַׂעְרֵ֛הּhis hairśa‘·rêh
רְבָ֖הgrewrə·ḇāh
כְּנִשְׁרִ֥יןlike [the feathers of] an eaglekə·niš·rîn
וְטִפְר֥וֹהִיand his nailswə·ṭip̄·rō·w·hî
כְצִפְּרִֽין׃like [the claws of] a bird .ḵə·ṣip·pə·rîn

יֽוֹמַיָּה֩of those daysyō·w·may·yāh
אֲנָ֨ה I , ’ă·nāh
נְבוּכַדְנֶצַּ֜ר Nebuchadnezzar , nə·ḇū·ḵaḏ·neṣ·ṣar
עַיְנַ֣י׀looked up‘ay·nay
נִטְלֵ֗ת. . .niṭ·lêṯ
לִשְׁמַיָּ֣א to heaven , liš·may·yā
וּמַנְדְּעִי֙and my sanityū·man·də·‘î
יְת֔וּבwas restoredyə·ṯūḇ
עֲלַ֣יto me .‘ă·lay
בָּרְכֵ֔תThen I praisedbā·rə·ḵêṯ
וּלְעִלָּיָא the Most High , ū·lə·ʿil·lå̄·yå̄
שַׁבְּחֵ֣תand I honoredšab·bə·ḥêṯ
וְהַדְּרֵ֑תand glorifiedwə·had·də·rêṯ
דִּ֤י. . .
וּלְחַ֥יHim who livesū·lə·ḥay
עָלְמָ֖אforever :‘ā·lə·mā
שָׁלְטָנֵהּ֙“ For His dominionšā·lə·ṭā·nêh
עָלַ֔םis an everlasting‘ā·lam
שָׁלְטָ֣ן dominion , šā·lə·ṭān
וּמַלְכוּתֵ֖הּand His kingdomū·mal·ḵū·ṯêh
עִם־endures from‘im-
דָּ֥רgenerationdār
וְדָֽר׃to generation .wə·ḏār

דָּאֲרֵיthe peoplesdå̄·ʾă·rē
אַרְעָא֙of the earth’ar·‘ā
חֲשִׁיבִ֔יןare countedḥă·šî·ḇîn
כְּלָ֣ה as nothing , kə·lāh
עָבֵד֙and He does‘ā·ḇêḏ
וּֽכְמִצְבְּיֵ֗הּas He pleasesū·ḵə·miṣ·bə·yêh
בְּחֵ֣ילwith the armybə·ḥêl
שְׁמַיָּ֔אof heavenšə·may·yā
וְדָאֲרֵיand the peopleswə·ḏå̄·ʾă·rē
אַרְעָ֑אof the earth .’ar·‘ā
אִיתַי֙There is’î·ṯay
וְלָ֤אnowə·lā
דִּֽי־one whodî-
יְמַחֵ֣אcan restrainyə·ma·ḥê
בִידֵ֔הּHis handḇî·ḏêh
וְיֵ֥אמַרor saywə·yê·mar
לֵ֖הּ to Him , lêh
מָ֥ה‘ Whatmāh
עֲבַֽדְתְּ׃have You done ? ’”‘ă·ḇaḏt

וְלִיקַ֨רfor the glorywə·lî·qar
מַלְכוּתִ֜יof my kingdom .mal·ḵū·ṯî
הַדָּֽבְרַ֥יMy advisershad·dā·ḇə·ray
וְרַבְרְבָנַ֖יand nobleswə·raḇ·rə·ḇā·nay
יְבַע֑וֹן sought me out , yə·ḇa·‘ō·wn
הָתְקְנַ֔תand I was restoredhā·ṯə·qə·naṯ
וְעַל־towə·‘al-
מַלְכוּתִ֣י my throne , mal·ḵū·ṯî
יַתִּירָ֖הand surpassingyat·tî·rāh
