לְהַחֲוָיָֽה׃ to declare lə·ha·ḥă·wā·yāh אָֽתַיָּא֙ the signs ’ā·ṯay·yā וְתִמְהַיָּ֔א and wonders wə·ṯim·hay·yā דִּ֚י that dî עִלָּיָא the Most High ʿil·lå̄·yå̄ אֱלָהָ֖א God ’ĕ·lā·hā עֲבַ֣ד has performed ‘ă·ḇaḏ עִמִּ֔י for me . ‘im·mî Daniel 4:3 כְּמָ֣ה How kə·māh רַבְרְבִ֔ין great raḇ·rə·ḇîn אָת֙וֹהִי֙ [are] His signs , ’ā·ṯō·w·hî כְּמָ֣ה how kə·māh תַקִּיפִ֑ין mighty ṯaq·qî·p̄în וְתִמְה֖וֹהִי His wonders ! wə·ṯim·hō·w·hî מַלְכוּתֵהּ֙ His kingdom mal·ḵū·ṯêh עָלַ֔ם is an eternal ‘ā·lam מַלְכ֣וּת kingdom ; mal·ḵūṯ וְשָׁלְטָנֵ֖הּ His dominion endures wə·šā·lə·ṭā·nêh עִם־ from ‘im- דָּ֥ר generation dār וְדָֽר׃ to generation . wə·ḏār Daniel 4:4 אֲנָ֣ה I , ’ă·nāh נְבוּכַדְנֶצַּ֗ר Nebuchadnezzar , nə·ḇū·ḵaḏ·neṣ·ṣar הֲוֵית֙ was hă·wêṯ שְׁלֵ֤ה at ease šə·lêh בְּבֵיתִ֔י in my house bə·ḇê·ṯî וְרַעְנַ֖ן and flourishing wə·ra‘·nan בְּהֵיכְלִֽי׃ in my palace . bə·hê·ḵə·lî Daniel 4:5 חֲזֵ֖ית I had ḥă·zêṯ חֵ֥לֶם a dream , ḥê·lem וִֽידַחֲלִנַּ֑נִי and it frightened me ; wî·ḏa·ḥă·lin·na·nî עַֽל־ while in ‘al- מִשְׁכְּבִ֔י my bed , miš·kə·ḇî וְהַרְהֹרִין֙ the images wə·har·hō·rîn וְחֶזְוֵ֥י and visions wə·ḥez·wê רֵאשִׁ֖י in my mind rê·šî יְבַהֲלֻנַּֽנִי׃ alarmed me . yə·ḇa·hă·lun·na·nî Daniel 4:6 וּמִנִּי֙ So ū·min·nî שִׂ֣ים I issued śîm טְעֵ֔ם a decree ṭə·‘êm לְכֹ֖ל that all lə·ḵōl חַכִּימֵ֣י the wise men ḥak·kî·mê בָבֶ֑ל of Babylon ḇā·ḇel לְהַנְעָלָ֣ה be brought lə·han·‘ā·lāh קָֽדָמַ֔י before me qā·ḏā·may דִּֽי־ to dî- פְשַׁ֥ר interpret p̄ə·šar חֶלְמָ֖א the dream ḥel·mā יְהֽוֹדְעֻנַּֽנִי׃ for me . yə·hō·wḏ·‘un·na·nî Daniel 4:7 בֵּאדַ֣יִן When bê·ḏa·yin חַרְטֻמַיָּא֙ the magicians , ḥar·ṭu·may·yā אָֽשְׁפַיָּ֔א enchanters , ’ā·šə·p̄ay·yā כַּשְׂדָּיֵא astrologers , kaś·då̄·yē וְגָזְרַיָּ֑א and diviners wə·ḡā·zə·ray·yā עָלֲלִין came in , ʿå̄·lă·līn אֲנָה֙ I ’ă·nāh קֳדָ֣מֵיה֔וֹן . . . qo·ḏā·mê·hō·wn אָמַ֤ר told them ’ā·mar וְחֶלְמָ֗א the dream , wə·ḥel·mā לָא־ and they could not lā- וּפִשְׁרֵ֖הּ interpret it ū·p̄iš·rêh מְהוֹדְעִ֥ין mə·hō·wḏ·‘în לִֽי׃ for me . lî Daniel 4:8 וְעַ֣ד But at wə·‘aḏ אָחֳרֵ֡ין last , ’ā·ḥo·rên קָֽדָמַ֨י into my presence qā·ḏā·may עַל֩ came ‘al דָּנִיֵּ֜אל Daniel dā·nî·yêl דִּֽי־ ( whose dî- שְׁמֵ֤הּ name is šə·mêh בֵּלְטְשַׁאצַּר֙ Belteshazzar bê·lə·ṭə·šaṣ·ṣar כְּשֻׁ֣ם after the name kə·šum אֱלָהִ֔י of my god , ’ĕ·lā·hî וְדִ֛י and in whom wə·ḏî רֽוּחַ־ [is] the spirit rū·aḥ- קַדִּישִׁ֖ין of the holy qad·dî·šîn אֱלָהִ֥ין gods ’ĕ·lā·hîn בֵּ֑הּ - ) . bêh אַמְרֵֽת׃ And I told him ’am·rêṯ וְחֶלְמָ֖א the dream wə·ḥel·mā קָֽדָמ֥וֹהִי . . . : qā·ḏā·mō·w·hî
