לְמַלְכָּֽא׃פ [him] lə·mal·kā וּפִשְׁרָ֖א the interpretation . ū·p̄iš·rā Daniel 2:17 אֱדַ֥יִן Then ’ĕ·ḏa·yin דָּֽנִיֵּ֖אל Daniel dā·nî·yêl אֲזַ֑ל returned ’ă·zal לְבַיְתֵ֣הּ to his house lə·ḇay·ṯêh הוֹדַֽע׃ and explained hō·w·ḏa‘ מִלְּתָ֥א the matter mil·lə·ṯā חַבְר֖וֹהִי to his friends ḥaḇ·rō·w·hî וְ֠לַחֲנַנְיָה Hananiah , wə·la·ḥă·nan·yāh מִֽישָׁאֵ֧ל Mishael , mî·šā·’êl וַעֲזַרְיָ֛ה and Azariah , wa·‘ă·zar·yāh Daniel 2:18 לְמִבְעֵא֙ urging them to plead lə·miḇ·‘ê וְרַחֲמִ֗ין for mercy wə·ra·ḥă·mîn מִן־ . . . min- קֳדָם֙ from qo·ḏām אֱלָ֣הּ the God ’ĕ·lāh שְׁמַיָּ֔א of heaven šə·may·yā עַל־ concerning ‘al- דְּנָ֑ה this də·nāh רָזָ֖ה mystery , rā·zāh דִּ֣י so that dî דָּנִיֵּ֣אל Daniel dā·nî·yêl וְחַבְר֔וֹהִי and his friends wə·ḥaḇ·rō·w·hî לָ֤א would not lā יְהֹֽבְדוּן֙ be killed yə·hō·ḇə·ḏūn עִם־ with ‘im- שְׁאָ֖ר the rest šə·’ār חַכִּימֵ֥י of the wise [men] ḥak·kî·mê בָבֶֽל׃ of Babylon . ḇā·ḇel Daniel 2:19 אֱדַ֗יִן During ’ĕ·ḏa·yin דִֽי־ ḏî- לֵילְיָ֖א the night , lê·lə·yā רָזָ֣ה the mystery rā·zāh גֲלִ֑י was revealed ḡă·lî אֱדַ֙יִן֙ . . . ’ĕ·ḏa·yin לְדָנִיֵּ֛אל to Daniel lə·ḏā·nî·yêl בְּחֶזְוָ֥א in a vision , bə·ḥez·wā דָּֽנִיֵּ֔אל and [he] dā·nî·yêl בָּרִ֖ךְ blessed bā·riḵ לֶאֱלָ֥הּ the God le·’ĕ·lāh שְׁמַיָּֽא׃ of heaven šə·may·yā Daniel 2:20 עָנֵ֤ה - ‘ā·nêh דָֽנִיֵּאל֙ - ḏā·nî·yêl וְאָמַ֔ר and declared : wə·’ā·mar מְבָרַ֔ךְ “ Blessed mə·ḇā·raḵ לֶהֱוֵ֨א be le·hĕ·wê שְׁמֵ֤הּ the name šə·mêh דִּֽי־ of dî- אֱלָהָא֙ God ’ĕ·lā·hā מִן־ vvv min- עָלְמָ֖א forever ‘ā·lə·mā וְעַ֣ד־ and wə·‘aḏ- עָלְמָ֑א ever , ‘ā·lə·mā דִּ֧י for dî חָכְמְתָ֛א wisdom ḥā·ḵə·mə·ṯā וּגְבוּרְתָ֖א and power ū·ḡə·ḇū·rə·ṯā דִּ֥י . . . dî לֵֽהּ־ belong to Him lêh- הִֽיא׃ . . . . hî Daniel 2:21 וְ֠הוּא He wə·hū מְהַשְׁנֵ֤א changes mə·haš·nê עִדָּנַיָּא֙ the times ‘id·dā·nay·yā וְזִמְנַיָּ֔א and seasons ; wə·zim·nay·yā מְהַעְדֵּ֥ה He removes mə·ha‘·dêh מַלְכִ֖ין kings mal·ḵîn וּמְהָקֵ֣ים and establishes ū·mə·hā·qêm מַלְכִ֑ין [them] . mal·ḵîn יָהֵ֤ב He gives yā·hêḇ חָכְמְתָא֙ wisdom ḥā·ḵə·mə·ṯā לְחַכִּימִ֔ין to the wise lə·ḥak·kî·mîn וּמַנְדְּעָ֖א and knowledge ū·man·də·‘ā לְיָדְעֵ֥י to the discerning lə·yā·ḏə·‘ê בִינָֽה׃ . . . . ḇî·nāh Daniel 2:22 ה֛וּא He hū גָּלֵ֥א reveals gā·lê עַמִּיקָתָ֖א the deep ‘am·mî·qā·ṯā וּמְסַתְּרָתָ֑א and hidden things ; ū·mə·sat·tə·rā·ṯā יָדַע֙ He knows yā·ḏa‘ מָ֣ה what māh בַחֲשׁוֹכָ֔א lies in darkness , ḇa·ḥă·šō·w·ḵā וּנְהִירָא and light ū·nə·hī·rå̄
