דֶּֽרֶךְ־ through de·reḵ- צָפוֹנָה֒ the north ṣā·p̄ō·w·nāh שַׁ֣עַר gate ša·‘ar וַיְסִבֵּ֙נִי֙ and led me around way·sib·bê·nî דֶּ֣רֶךְ . . . de·reḵ ח֔וּץ the outside ḥūṣ אֶל־ to ’el- הַח֔וּץ the outer ha·ḥūṣ דֶּ֖רֶךְ . . . de·reḵ שַׁ֣עַר gate ša·‘ar הַפּוֹנֶ֣ה facing hap·pō·w·neh קָדִ֑ים east , qā·ḏîm וְהִנֵּה־ and there I saw wə·hin·nêh- מַ֣יִם the water ma·yim מְפַכִּ֔ים trickling out mə·p̄ak·kîm מִן־ from min- הַיְמָנִֽית׃ the south hay·mā·nîṯ הַכָּתֵ֖ף side . hak·kā·ṯêp̄ Ezekiel 47:3 הָאִ֥ישׁ As the man hā·’îš בְּצֵאת־ went bə·ṣêṯ- קָדִ֖ים eastward qā·ḏîm וְקָ֣ו with a measuring line wə·qāw בְּיָד֑וֹ in his hand , bə·yā·ḏōw וַיָּ֤מָד he measured off way·yā·māḏ אֶ֙לֶף֙ a thousand ’e·lep̄ בָּֽאַמָּ֔ה cubits bā·’am·māh וַיַּעֲבִרֵ֥נִי and led me through way·ya·‘ă·ḇi·rê·nî מֵ֥י - mê אָפְסָֽיִם׃ ankle-deep ’ā·p̄ə·sā·yim בַמַּ֖יִם water . ḇam·ma·yim Ezekiel 47:4 וַיָּ֣מָד Then he measured off way·yā·māḏ אֶ֔לֶף a thousand [cubits] ’e·lep̄ וַיַּעֲבִרֵ֥נִי and led me through way·ya·‘ă·ḇi·rê·nî בִּרְכָּ֑יִם knee-deep bir·kā·yim בַמַּ֖יִם water ḇam·ma·yim מַ֣יִם vvv . ma·yim וַיָּ֣מָד Again he measured way·yā·māḏ אֶ֔לֶף a thousand [cubits] ’e·lep̄ וַיַּעֲבִרֵ֖נִי and led me through way·ya·‘ă·ḇi·rê·nî מָתְנָֽיִם׃ waist-deep mā·ṯə·nā·yim מֵ֥י water . mê Ezekiel 47:5 וַיָּ֣מָד Once again he measured off way·yā·māḏ אֶ֔לֶף a thousand [cubits] , ’e·lep̄ נַ֕חַל but now it was a river na·ḥal אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer אוּכַ֖ל I could ’ū·ḵal לֹֽא־ not lō- לַעֲבֹ֑ר cross , la·‘ă·ḇōr כִּֽי־ because kî- הַמַּ֙יִם֙ the water ham·ma·yim גָא֤וּ had risen ḡā·’ū מֵ֣י [and] mê שָׂ֔חוּ was deep enough for swimming — śā·ḥū נַ֖חַל a river na·ḥal אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer לֹֽא־ could not lō- יֵעָבֵֽר׃ be crossed on foot . yê·‘ā·ḇêr Ezekiel 47:6 בֶן־ “ Son ḇen- אָדָ֑ם of man , ’ā·ḏām הֲרָאִ֣יתָ do you see this ? ” hă·rā·’î·ṯā וַיֹּ֥אמֶר he asked way·yō·mer אֵלַ֖י . . . . ’ê·lay וַיּוֹלִכֵ֥נִי Then he led me way·yō·w·li·ḵê·nî וַיְשִׁבֵ֖נִי back way·ši·ḇê·nî שְׂפַ֥ת to the bank śə·p̄aṯ הַנָּֽחַל׃ of the river . han·nā·ḥal Ezekiel 47:7 בְּשׁוּבֵ֕נִי When I arrived , bə·šū·ḇê·nî וְהִנֵּה֙ I saw wə·hin·nêh אֶל־ . . . ’el- מְאֹ֑ד a great mə·’ōḏ רַ֣ב number of raḇ עֵ֖ץ trees ‘êṣ מִזֶּ֖ה along both miz·zeh וּמִזֶּֽה׃ . . . ū·miz·zeh שְׂפַ֣ת banks śə·p̄aṯ הַנַּ֔חַל of the river . han·na·ḥal Ezekiel 47:8 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר And he said way·yō·mer אֵלַ֗י to me , ’ê·lay הָאֵ֙לֶּה֙ “ This hā·’êl·leh הַמַּ֤יִם water ham·ma·yim יוֹצְאִ֗ים flows out yō·wṣ·’îm אֶל־ to ’el-
