תִּֽהְיֶ֣ה - tih·yeh מִכֹּהֵ֖ן of a priest . mik·kō·hên Ezekiel 44:23 וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- יוֹר֔וּ They are to teach yō·w·rū עַמִּ֣י My people ‘am·mî בֵּ֥ין the difference between bên קֹ֖דֶשׁ the holy qō·ḏeš לְחֹ֑ל and the common , lə·ḥōl יוֹדִעֻֽם׃ and show them how to discern yō·w·ḏi·‘um וּבֵין־ between ū·ḇên- לְטָה֖וֹר the clean lə·ṭā·hō·wr טָמֵ֥א and the unclean . ṭā·mê Ezekiel 44:24 וְעַל־ In wə·‘al- רִ֗יב any dispute , rîḇ הֵ֚מָּה they hêm·māh יַעַמְד֣וּ shall officiate ya·‘am·ḏū לִשְׁפֹּט as judges liš·pōṭ וְשָׁפְטֻהוּ [and] judge wə·šå̄·p̄ə·ṭu·hū בְּמִשְׁפָּטַ֖י according to My ordinances bə·miš·pā·ṭay וְאֶת־ . wə·’eṯ- יִשְׁמֹ֔רוּ They must keep yiš·mō·rū וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- תּוֹרֹתַ֤י My laws tō·w·rō·ṯay וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- חֻקֹּתַי֙ statutes ḥuq·qō·ṯay בְּכָל־ regarding all bə·ḵāl מוֹעֲדַ֣י My appointed feasts , mō·w·‘ă·ḏay שַׁבְּתוֹתַ֖י and they must keep My Sabbaths šab·bə·ṯō·w·ṯay יְקַדֵּֽשׁוּ׃ holy . yə·qad·dê·šū Ezekiel 44:25 לֹ֥א A priest must not lō לְטָמְאָ֑ה defile himself lə·ṭā·mə·’āh יָב֖וֹא by going yā·ḇō·w וְאֶל־ near wə·’el- מֵ֣ת a dead mêṯ אָדָ֔ם person . ’ā·ḏām כִּ֣י However kî אִם־ . . . , ’im- לְאָ֡ב for a father , lə·’āḇ וּ֠לְאֵם a mother , ū·lə·’êm וּלְבֵ֨ן a son , ū·lə·ḇên וּלְבַ֜ת a daughter , ū·lə·ḇaṯ לְאָ֗ח a brother , lə·’āḥ אֲשֶֽׁר־ - ’ă·šer- לֹא־ or an unmarried lō- הָיְתָ֥ה . . . hā·yə·ṯāh לְאִ֖ישׁ . . . lə·’îš וּלְאָח֛וֹת sister , ū·lə·’ā·ḥō·wṯ יִטַּמָּֽאוּ׃ he may do so , yiṭ·ṭam·mā·’ū Ezekiel 44:26 וְאַחֲרֵ֖י and after wə·’a·ḥă·rê טָֽהֳרָת֑וֹ he is cleansed , ṭā·ho·rā·ṯōw יִסְפְּרוּ־ he must count yis·pə·rū- שִׁבְעַ֥ת off seven šiḇ·‘aṯ יָמִ֖ים days yā·mîm לֽוֹ׃ for himself . lōw Ezekiel 44:27 וּבְיוֹם֩ And on the day ū·ḇə·yō·wm בֹּא֨וֹ he goes bō·’ōw אֶל־ into ’el- הַקֹּ֜דֶשׁ the sanctuary , haq·qō·ḏeš אֶל־ into ’el- הַפְּנִימִית֙ the inner hap·pə·nî·mîṯ הֶחָצֵ֤ר court , he·ḥā·ṣêr לְשָׁרֵ֣ת to minister lə·šā·rêṯ בַּקֹּ֔דֶשׁ in the sanctuary , baq·qō·ḏeš יַקְרִ֖יב he must present yaq·rîḇ חַטָּאת֑וֹ his sin offering , ḥaṭ·ṭā·ṯōw נְאֻ֖ם declares nə·’um אֲדֹנָ֥י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִֽה׃ YHWH . Yah·weh Ezekiel 44:28 וְהָיְתָ֤ה In regard to wə·hā·yə·ṯāh לָהֶם֙ their lā·hem לְֽנַחֲלָ֔ה inheritance , lə·na·ḥă·lāh אֲנִ֖י I am ’ă·nî נַֽחֲלָתָ֑ם their inheritance . na·ḥă·lā·ṯām תִתְּנ֤וּ You are to give ṯit·tə·nū לָהֶם֙ them lā·hem לֹֽא־ no lō- וַאֲחֻזָּ֗ה possession wa·’ă·ḥuz·zāh בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל in Israel , bə·yiś·rā·’êl אֲנִ֖י for I [am] ’ă·nî אֲחֻזָּתָֽם׃ their possession . ’ă·ḥuz·zā·ṯām
