עַל־ therefore ‘al- כֵּן֩ . . . kên נָשָׂ֨אתִי I swore with an uplifted nā·śā·ṯî יָדִ֜י hand yā·ḏî עֲלֵיהֶ֗ם concerning them ‘ă·lê·hem וְנָשְׂא֖וּ that they would bear the consequences wə·nā·śə·’ū עֲוֺנָֽם׃ of their iniquity , ‘ă·wō·nām נְאֻם֙ declares nə·’um אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֔ה YHWH . Yah·weh Ezekiel 44:13 וְלֹֽא־ They must not wə·lō- יִגְּשׁ֤וּ approach yig·gə·šū אֵלַי֙ Me ’ê·lay לְכַהֵ֣ן to serve Me as priests lə·ḵa·hên לִ֔י lî וְלָגֶ֙שֶׁת֙ or come near wə·lā·ḡe·šeṯ עַל־ . . . ‘al- כָּל־ any kāl- קָ֣דָשַׁ֔י of My holy things qā·ḏā·šay אֶל־ . . . ’el- קָדְשֵׁ֖י or the most holy things qā·ḏə·šê הַקְּדָשִׁ֑ים . . . . haq·qə·ḏā·šîm וְנָֽשְׂאוּ֙ They will bear wə·nā·śə·’ū כְּלִמָּתָ֔ם the shame kə·lim·mā·ṯām וְתוֹעֲבוֹתָ֖ם of the abominations wə·ṯō·w·‘ă·ḇō·w·ṯām אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer עָשֽׂוּ׃ they have committed . ‘ā·śū Ezekiel 44:14 וְנָתַתִּ֣י Yet I will appoint wə·nā·ṯat·tî אוֹתָ֔ם them ’ō·w·ṯām שֹׁמְרֵ֖י to keep šō·mə·rê מִשְׁמֶ֣רֶת charge miš·me·reṯ לְכֹל֙ of all lə·ḵōl עֲבֹ֣דָת֔וֹ the work ‘ă·ḇō·ḏā·ṯōw הַבָּ֑יִת for the temple hab·bā·yiṯ וּלְכֹ֛ל and everything ū·lə·ḵōl אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer יֵעָשֶׂ֖ה to be done yê·‘ā·śeh בּֽוֹ׃פ in it . bōw Ezekiel 44:15 הַלְוִיִּ֜ם But the Levitical hal·wî·yim וְהַכֹּהֲנִ֨ים priests , wə·hak·kō·hă·nîm בְּנֵ֣י who are descended bə·nê צָד֗וֹק from Zadok ṣā·ḏō·wq אֲשֶׁ֨ר and who ’ă·šer שָׁמְר֜וּ kept šā·mə·rū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מִשְׁמֶ֤רֶת charge miš·me·reṯ מִקְדָּשִׁי֙ of My sanctuary miq·dā·šî בְּנֵֽי־ when the Israelites bə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ . . . yiś·rā·’êl בִּתְע֤וֹת went astray biṯ·‘ō·wṯ מֵֽעָלַ֔י from Me , mê·‘ā·lay הֵ֛מָּה . . . hêm·māh יִקְרְב֥וּ are to approach yiq·rə·ḇū אֵלַ֖י Me ’ê·lay לְשָֽׁרְתֵ֑נִי to minister before Me . lə·šā·rə·ṯê·nî וְעָמְד֣וּ They will stand wə·‘ā·mə·ḏū לְפָנַ֗י before Me lə·p̄ā·nay לְהַקְרִ֥יב to offer lə·haq·rîḇ לִי֙ Me lî חֵ֣לֶב fat ḥê·leḇ וָדָ֔ם and blood , wā·ḏām נְאֻ֖ם declares nə·’um אֲדֹנָ֥י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִֽה׃ YHWH . Yah·weh Ezekiel 44:16 הֵ֜מָּה They alone hêm·māh יָבֹ֣אוּ shall enter yā·ḇō·’ū אֶל־ . . . ’el- מִקְדָּשִׁ֗י My sanctuary miq·dā·šî וְהֵ֛מָּה . . . wə·hêm·māh יִקְרְב֥וּ and draw near yiq·rə·ḇū אֶל־ to ’el- שֻׁלְחָנִ֖י My table šul·ḥā·nî לְשָׁרְתֵ֑נִי to minister before Me . lə·šā·rə·ṯê·nî וְשָׁמְר֖וּ They will keep wə·šā·mə·rū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מִשְׁמַרְתִּֽי׃ My charge . miš·mar·tî Ezekiel 44:17 וְהָיָ֗ה - wə·hā·yāh בְּבוֹאָם֙ When they enter bə·ḇō·w·’ām אֶֽל־ . . . ’el- שַׁעֲרֵי֙ the gates ša·‘ă·rê הַפְּנִימִ֔ית of the inner hap·pə·nî·mîṯ הֶחָצֵ֣ר court , he·ḥā·ṣêr יִלְבָּ֑שׁוּ they are to wear yil·bā·šū פִשְׁתִּ֖ים linen p̄iš·tîm בִּגְדֵ֥י garments ; biḡ·ḏê
