אֶת־ - ’eṯ- לַחְמִי֙ My food — laḥ·mî חֵ֣לֶב the fat ḥê·leḇ וָדָ֔ם and the blood ; wā·ḏām וַיָּפֵ֙רוּ֙ you broke way·yā·p̄ê·rū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּרִיתִ֔י My covenant . bə·rî·ṯî Ezekiel 44:8 וְלֹ֥א And you have not wə·lō שְׁמַרְתֶּ֖ם kept šə·mar·tem מִשְׁמֶ֣רֶת charge miš·me·reṯ קָדָשָׁ֑י of My holy things , qā·ḏā·šāy וַתְּשִׂימ֗וּן but have appointed wat·tə·śî·mūn לְשֹׁמְרֵ֧י others to keep lə·šō·mə·rê מִשְׁמַרְתִּ֛י charge miš·mar·tî בְּמִקְדָּשִׁ֖י of My sanctuary bə·miq·dā·šî לָכֶֽם׃ for you . ’ lā·ḵem Ezekiel 44:9 כֹּה־ This is what kōh- אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִה֒ YHWH Yah·weh אָמַר֮ says : ’ā·mar כָּל־ No kāl- בֶּן־ foreigner ben- נֵכָ֗ר . . . nê·ḵār עֶ֤רֶל uncircumcised ‘e·rel לֵב֙ in heart lêḇ וְעֶ֣רֶל . . . wə·‘e·rel בָּשָׂ֔ר and flesh bā·śār לֹ֥א - lō יָב֖וֹא may enter yā·ḇō·w אֶל־ . . . ’el- מִקְדָּשִׁ֑י My sanctuary — miq·dā·šî לְכָל־ . . . lə·ḵāl בֶּן־ not even a foreigner ben- נֵכָ֔ר . . . nê·ḵār אֲשֶׁ֕ר who ’ă·šer בְּת֖וֹךְ lives among bə·ṯō·wḵ בְּנֵ֥י the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ . . . . yiś·rā·’êl Ezekiel 44:10 כִּ֣י Surely kî אִם־ . . . ’im- הַלְוִיִּ֗ם the Levites hal·wî·yim אֲשֶׁ֤ר who ’ă·šer רָֽחֲקוּ֙ wandered away rā·ḥă·qū מֵֽעָלַ֔י from Me mê·‘ā·lay יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ when Israel yiś·rā·’êl בִּתְע֤וֹת went astray , biṯ·‘ō·wṯ אֲשֶׁ֣ר and who ’ă·šer תָּע֣וּ wandered tā·‘ū מֵֽעָלַ֔י away from Me mê·‘ā·lay אַחֲרֵ֖י after ’a·ḥă·rê גִּלּֽוּלֵיהֶ֑ם their idols , gil·lū·lê·hem וְנָשְׂא֖וּ will bear the consequences wə·nā·śə·’ū עֲוֺנָֽם׃ of their iniquity . ‘ă·wō·nām Ezekiel 44:11 וְהָי֤וּ Yet they shall be wə·hā·yū מְשָׁ֣רְתִ֔ים ministers mə·šā·rə·ṯîm בְמִקְדָּשִׁי֙ in My sanctuary , ḇə·miq·dā·šî פְּקֻדּוֹת֙ [having] charge pə·qud·dō·wṯ אֶל־ of ’el- שַׁעֲרֵ֣י the gates ša·‘ă·rê הַבַּ֔יִת of the temple hab·ba·yiṯ וּֽמְשָׁרְתִ֖ים and ministering ū·mə·šā·rə·ṯîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַבָּ֑יִת [there] . hab·bā·yiṯ הֵ֠מָּה They hêm·māh יִשְׁחֲט֨וּ shall slaughter yiš·ḥă·ṭū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָעֹלָ֤ה the burnt offerings hā·‘ō·lāh וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הַזֶּ֙בַח֙ and other sacrifices haz·ze·ḇaḥ לָעָ֔ם for the people lā·‘ām וְהֵ֛מָּה . . . wə·hêm·māh יַעַמְד֥וּ and stand ya·‘am·ḏū לִפְנֵיהֶ֖ם before them lip̄·nê·hem לְשָֽׁרְתָֽם׃ to minister to them . lə·šā·rə·ṯām Ezekiel 44:12 יַ֗עַן Because ya·‘an אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer יְשָׁרְת֤וּ they ministered yə·šā·rə·ṯū אוֹתָם֙ - ’ō·w·ṯām לִפְנֵ֣י before lip̄·nê גִלּֽוּלֵיהֶ֔ם their idols ḡil·lū·lê·hem וְהָי֥וּ and became wə·hā·yū לְמִכְשׁ֣וֹל a stumbling block lə·miḵ·šō·wl עָוֺ֑ן of iniquity ‘ā·wōn לְבֵֽית־ to the house lə·ḇêṯ- יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl
