הַגְּדֶ֣רֶת to the wall hag·gə·ḏe·reṯ הֲגִינָ֔ה extending hă·ḡî·nāh דֶּ֥רֶךְ . . . de·reḵ הַקָּדִ֖ים eastward haq·qā·ḏîm בְּבוֹאָֽן׃ - . bə·ḇō·w·’ān Ezekiel 42:13 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר Then the man said way·yō·mer אֵלַ֗י to me , ’ê·lay הַצָּפ֜וֹן “ The north haṣ·ṣā·p̄ō·wn הַדָּרוֹם֮ [and] south had·dā·rō·wm לִֽשְׁכ֨וֹת chambers liš·ḵō·wṯ לִֽשְׁכ֣וֹת liš·ḵō·wṯ אֲשֶׁ֣ר vvv ’ă·šer אֶל־ facing ’el- פְּנֵ֣י . . . pə·nê הַגִּזְרָה֒ the temple courtyard hag·giz·rāh הֵ֣נָּה׀ . . . hên·nāh הַקֹּ֗דֶשׁ are the holy haq·qō·ḏeš לִֽשְׁכ֣וֹת chambers liš·ḵō·wṯ אֲשֶׁ֨ר where ’ă·šer שָׁ֧ם šām הַכֹּהֲנִ֛ים the priests hak·kō·hă·nîm אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer- קְרוֹבִ֥ים approach qə·rō·w·ḇîm לַֽיהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh יֹאכְלוּ־ will eat yō·ḵə·lū- קָדְשֵׁ֣י the most holy offerings qā·ḏə·šê הַקֳּדָשִׁ֑ים . . . . haq·qo·ḏā·šîm שָׁ֞ם There šām יַנִּ֣יחוּ׀ they will place yan·nî·ḥū קָדְשֵׁ֣י the most holy offerings qā·ḏə·šê הַקֳּדָשִׁ֗ים . . . — haq·qo·ḏā·šîm וְהַמִּנְחָה֙ the grain offerings , wə·ham·min·ḥāh וְהַחַטָּ֣את the sin offerings , wə·ha·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ וְהָאָשָׁ֔ם and the guilt offerings — wə·hā·’ā·šām כִּ֥י for kî הַמָּק֖וֹם the place ham·mā·qō·wm קָדֹֽשׁ׃ is holy . qā·ḏōš Ezekiel 42:14 הַכֹּהֲנִ֗ים Once the priests hak·kō·hă·nîm בְּבֹאָ֣ם have entered bə·ḇō·’ām מֵהַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ the holy area , mê·haq·qō·ḏeš וְלֹֽא־ they must not wə·lō- יֵצְא֤וּ go out yê·ṣə·’ū אֶל־ into ’el- הַחִיצוֹנָ֔ה the outer ha·ḥî·ṣō·w·nāh וְשָׁ֞ם . . . wə·šām הֶחָצֵ֣ר court he·ḥā·ṣêr יַנִּ֧יחוּ until they have left behind yan·nî·ḥū בִגְדֵיהֶ֛ם the garments ḇiḡ·ḏê·hem אֲשֶׁר־ in which ’ă·šer- יְשָׁרְת֥וּ they minister yə·šā·rə·ṯū בָהֶ֖ן , ḇā·hen כִּֽי־ for kî- הֵ֑נָּה these hên·nāh קֹ֣דֶשׁ are holy . qō·ḏeš יִלְבְּשׁוּ They are to put on yil·bə·šū אֲחֵרִ֔ים other ’ă·ḥê·rîm בְּגָדִ֣ים clothes bə·ḡā·ḏîm וְקָרְב֖וּ before they approach wə·qā·rə·ḇū אֶל־ . . . ’el- אֲשֶׁ֥ר the places that are ’ă·šer לָעָֽם׃ for the people . ” lā·‘ām Ezekiel 42:15 וְכִלָּ֗ה Now when [the man] had finished wə·ḵil·lāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מִדּוֹת֙ measuring mid·dō·wṯ הַפְּנִימִ֔י the interior hap·pə·nî·mî הַבַּ֣יִת of the temple area , hab·ba·yiṯ וְהוֹצִיאַ֙נִי֙ he led me out wə·hō·w·ṣî·’a·nî דֶּ֣רֶךְ by de·reḵ הַשַּׁ֔עַר the gate haš·ša·‘ar אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer פָּנָ֖יו faced pā·nāw דֶּ֣רֶךְ . . . de·reḵ הַקָּדִ֑ים east , haq·qā·ḏîm וּמְדָד֖וֹ and he measured [the area] ū·mə·ḏā·ḏōw סָבִ֥יב׀ all sā·ḇîḇ סָבִֽיב׃ around : sā·ḇîḇ Ezekiel 42:16 הַמִּדָּ֑ה With a measuring ham·mid·dāh בִּקְנֵ֣ה rod biq·nêh מָדַ֛ד he measured mā·ḏaḏ הַקָּדִ֖ים the east haq·qā·ḏîm ר֥וּחַ side rū·aḥ חֲמֵשׁ־ [to be] five ḥă·mêš- אֵמוֹת hundred ʾē·mōṯ קָנִ֛ים [cubits] qā·nîm בִּקְנֵ֥ה biq·nêh הַמִּדָּ֖ה ham·mid·dāh סָבִֽיב׃ [long] . sā·ḇîḇ
