לָהֶן֙ they had lā·hen וְאֵ֤ין no wə·’ên עַמּוּדִ֔ים pillars . ‘am·mū·ḏîm עַל־ So ‘al- כֵּ֣ן . . . kên נֶאֱצַ֗ל [the upper chambers] were set back further ne·’ĕ·ṣal מֵהַתַּחְתּוֹנ֛וֹת than the lower mê·hat·taḥ·tō·w·nō·wṯ וּמֵהַתִּֽיכֹנ֖וֹת and middle floors ū·mê·hat·tî·ḵō·nō·wṯ מֵהָאָֽרֶץ׃ . mê·hā·’ā·reṣ Ezekiel 42:7 לַחוּץ֙ An outer la·ḥūṣ וְגָדֵ֤ר wall wə·ḡā·ḏêr אֶל־ in ’el- פְּנֵ֣י front pə·nê הַלְּשָׁכ֑וֹת of the chambers hal·lə·šā·ḵō·wṯ אֲשֶׁר־ [was] ’ă·šer- חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים fifty ḥă·miš·šîm אַמָּֽה׃ cubits ’am·māh אָרְכּ֖וֹ long ’ā·rə·kōw לְעֻמַּ֣ת [and] ran parallel to lə·‘um·maṯ הַלְּשָׁכ֔וֹת the chambers hal·lə·šā·ḵō·wṯ דֶּ֛רֶךְ [and] de·reḵ הַחִֽצוֹנָ֖ה the outer ha·ḥi·ṣō·w·nāh הֶחָצֵ֥ר court . he·ḥā·ṣêr Ezekiel 42:8 כִּֽי־ For kî- הַלְּשָׁכ֗וֹת the chambers hal·lə·šā·ḵō·wṯ אֲשֶׁ֛ר - ’ă·šer הַחִֽצוֹנָ֖ה on the outer ha·ḥi·ṣō·w·nāh לֶחָצֵ֥ר court le·ḥā·ṣêr חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים [were] fifty ḥă·miš·šîm אַמָּ֑ה cubits ’am·māh וְהִנֵּ֛ה . . . wə·hin·nêh אֹ֣רֶךְ long , ’ō·reḵ עַל־ while those facing ‘al- פְּנֵ֥י . . . pə·nê הַהֵיכָ֖ל the temple ha·hê·ḵāl מֵאָ֥ה [were] a hundred mê·’āh אַמָּֽה׃ cubits [long] . ’am·māh Ezekiel 42:9 וּמִתַּחֲתָה And below ū·mit·ta·ḥă·ṯå̄h הָאֵ֑לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh לְּשָׁכוֹת chambers [was] lə·šå̄·ḵōṯ הַמָּבוֹא the entrance ham·må̄·ḇō מֵֽהַקָּדִ֔ים on the east side mê·haq·qā·ḏîm בְּבֹא֣וֹ as one enters bə·ḇō·’ōw לָהֵ֔נָּה them lā·hên·nāh הַחִצֹנָֽה׃ from the outer ha·ḥi·ṣō·nāh מֵֽהֶחָצֵ֖ר court . mê·he·ḥā·ṣêr Ezekiel 42:10 דֶּ֧רֶךְ On the de·reḵ הַקָּדִ֛ים south side haq·qā·ḏîm בְּרֹ֣חַב׀ along the length bə·rō·ḥaḇ גֶּ֣דֶר of the wall ge·ḏer הֶחָצֵ֗ר of the outer court he·ḥā·ṣêr לְשָׁכֽוֹת׃ [were] chambers lə·šā·ḵō·wṯ אֶל־ ’el- פְּנֵ֧י adjoining pə·nê הַגִּזְרָ֛ה the courtyard hag·giz·rāh וְאֶל־ and wə·’el- פְּנֵ֥י opposite pə·nê הַבִּנְיָ֖ן the building , hab·bin·yān Ezekiel 42:11 וְדֶ֙רֶךְ֙ with a passageway wə·ḏe·reḵ לִפְנֵיהֶ֔ם in front of them , lip̄·nê·hem כְּמַרְאֵ֣ה . . . kə·mar·’êh הַלְּשָׁכ֗וֹת just like the chambers hal·lə·šā·ḵō·wṯ אֲשֶׁר֙ that were ’ă·šer דֶּ֣רֶךְ on de·reḵ הַצָּפ֔וֹן the north . haṣ·ṣā·p̄ō·wn כְּאָרְכָּ֖ן They had the same length kə·’ā·rə·kān כֵּ֣ן . . . kên רָחְבָּ֑ן and width , rā·ḥə·bān וְכֹל֙ with similar wə·ḵōl מוֹצָ֣אֵיהֶ֔ן exits mō·w·ṣā·’ê·hen וּכְמִשְׁפְּטֵיהֶ֖ן and [dimensions] ū·ḵə·miš·pə·ṭê·hen וּכְפִתְחֵיהֶֽן׃ . . . . ū·ḵə·p̄iṯ·ḥê·hen Ezekiel 42:12 וּכְפִתְחֵ֣י And corresponding to the doors ū·ḵə·p̄iṯ·ḥê הַלְּשָׁכ֗וֹת of the chambers hal·lə·šā·ḵō·wṯ אֲשֶׁר֙ that [were] ’ă·šer דֶּ֣רֶךְ facing de·reḵ הַדָּר֔וֹם south , had·dā·rō·wm פֶּ֖תַח [there] [was] a door pe·ṯaḥ בְּרֹ֣אשׁ in front bə·rōš דָּ֑רֶךְ of the walkway dā·reḵ דֶּ֗רֶךְ . . . de·reḵ בִּפְנֵי֙ that was parallel bip̄·nê
