הָאִ֜ישׁ in the man’s hā·’îš וּבְיַ֨ד hand ū·ḇə·yaḏ שֵׁשׁ־ [was] six [long] šêš- אַמּ֤וֹת cubits ’am·mō·wṯ בָּֽאַמָּה֙ ( [each measuring a] cubit bā·’am·māh וָטֹ֔פַח and a handbreadth ), wā·ṭō·p̄aḥ וַיָּ֜מָד and he measured way·yā·māḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַבִּנְיָן֙ the [wall to be] hab·bin·yān אֶחָ֔ד one ’e·ḥāḏ קָנֶ֣ה rod qā·neh רֹ֤חַב thick rō·ḥaḇ אֶחָֽד׃ [and] one ’e·ḥāḏ קָנֶ֥ה rod qā·neh וְקוֹמָ֖ה high . wə·qō·w·māh Ezekiel 40:6 וַיָּב֗וֹא Then he came way·yā·ḇō·w אֶל־ to ’el- שַׁ֙עַר֙ the gate ša·‘ar אֲשֶׁ֤ר vvv ’ă·šer פָּנָיו֙ facing pā·nāw דֶּ֣רֶךְ . . . de·reḵ הַקָּדִ֔ימָה east haq·qā·ḏî·māh וַיַּ֖עַל and climbed way·ya·‘al בְּמַעֲלוֹתוֹ its steps . bə·ma·ʿă·lō·ṯō וַיָּ֣מָד׀ He measured way·yā·māḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- סַ֣ף the threshold sap̄ הַשַּׁ֗עַר of the gate [to be] haš·ša·‘ar אֶחָד֙ one ’e·ḥāḏ קָנֶ֤ה rod qā·neh רֹ֔חַב deep rō·ḥaḇ וְאֵת֙ - wə·’êṯ אֶחָ֔ד - ’e·ḥāḏ סַ֣ף . . . sap̄ קָנֶ֥ה . . . qā·neh אֶחָ֖ד . . . ’e·ḥāḏ רֹֽחַב׃ . . . . rō·ḥaḇ Ezekiel 40:7 וְהַתָּ֗א Each gate chamber wə·hat·tā אֶחָ֥ד [was] one ’e·ḥāḏ קָנֶ֨ה rod qā·neh אֹ֙רֶךְ֙ long ’ō·reḵ וְקָנֶ֤ה and one [rod] wə·qā·neh אֶחָד֙ . . . ’e·ḥāḏ רֹ֔חַב wide , rō·ḥaḇ חָמֵ֣שׁ and [there were] five ḥā·mêš אַמּ֑וֹת cubits ’am·mō·wṯ וּבֵ֥ין between ū·ḇên הַתָּאִ֖ים the gate chambers . hat·tā·’îm וְסַ֣ף The inner threshold wə·sap̄ הַ֠שַּׁעַר of the gate haš·ša·‘ar מֵאֵ֨צֶל by mê·’ê·ṣel אוּלָ֥ם the portico ’ū·lām הַשַּׁ֛עַר . . . haš·ša·‘ar מֵֽהַבַּ֖יִת facing inward mê·hab·ba·yiṯ אֶחָֽד׃ [was] one ’e·ḥāḏ קָנֶ֥ה rod [deep] . qā·neh Ezekiel 40:8 וַיָּ֜מָד Then he measured way·yā·māḏ אֶת־ ’eṯ- אֻלָ֥ם the portico ’u·lām הַשַּׁ֛עַר of the gateway haš·ša·‘ar מֵהַבַּ֖יִת inside mê·hab·ba·yiṯ קָנֶ֥ה qā·neh אֶחָֽד׃ ; ’e·ḥāḏ Ezekiel 40:9 וַיָּ֜מָד [it was] way·yā·māḏ אֶת־ ’eṯ- אֻלָ֤ם - ’u·lām הַשַּׁ֙עַר֙ - haš·ša·‘ar שְׁמֹנֶ֣ה eight šə·mō·neh אַמּ֔וֹת cubits [deep] , ’am·mō·wṯ וְאֵילוֹ and its jambs [were] wə·ʾē·lō שְׁתַּ֣יִם two šə·ta·yim אַמּ֑וֹת cubits [thick] . ’am·mō·wṯ וְאֻלָ֥ם And the portico wə·’u·lām הַשַּׁ֖עַר of the gateway haš·ša·‘ar מֵהַבָּֽיִת׃ faced [the temple] . mê·hab·bā·yiṯ Ezekiel 40:10 שְׁלֹשָׁ֤ה There were three šə·lō·šāh וְתָאֵ֨י gate chambers wə·ṯā·’ê מִפֹּה֙ on each side mip·pōh וּשְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה . . . ū·šə·lō·šāh מִפֹּ֔ה . . . mip·pōh הַקָּדִ֗ים of the east haq·qā·ḏîm הַשַּׁ֜עַר gate , haš·ša·‘ar דֶּ֣רֶךְ . . . de·reḵ אַחַ֖ת each with the same ’a·ḥaṯ לִשְׁלָשְׁתָּ֑ם . . . liš·lā·šə·tām
