מִדָּ֥ה measurements , mid·dāh לָאֵילִ֖ם and the gateposts lā·’ê·lim מִפֹּ֥ה on either side mip·pōh וּמִפּֽוֹ׃ . . . ū·mip·pōw אַחַ֛ת also had the same ’a·ḥaṯ וּמִדָּ֥ה measurements . ū·mid·dāh Ezekiel 40:11 וַיָּ֛מָד And he measured way·yā·māḏ אֶת־ ’eṯ- רֹ֥חַב the width rō·ḥaḇ הַשַּׁ֖עַר of the gateway haš·ša·‘ar פֶּֽתַח־ entrance pe·ṯaḥ- עֶ֣שֶׂר [to be] ten ‘e·śer אַמּ֑וֹת cubits , ’am·mō·wṯ אֹ֣רֶךְ and its length ’ō·reḵ הַשַּׁ֔עַר . . . haš·ša·‘ar שְׁל֥וֹשׁ [was] thirteen šə·lō·wōš עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה . . . ‘eś·rêh אַמּֽוֹת׃ cubits . ’am·mō·wṯ Ezekiel 40:12 לִפְנֵ֤י In front lip̄·nê הַתָּאוֹת֙ of each gate chamber hat·tā·’ō·wṯ וּגְב֞וּל was a wall ū·ḡə·ḇūl אֶחָ֔ת one ’e·ḥāṯ אַמָּ֣ה cubit [high] , ’am·māh וְהַתָּ֕א and the gate chambers wə·hat·tā שֵׁשׁ־ [were] six šêš- אַמּ֣וֹת vvv ’am·mō·wṯ וְאַמָּה־ cubits wə·’am·māh- אַחַ֥ת . . . ’a·ḥaṯ גְּב֖וּל . . . gə·ḇūl מִפֹּ֑ה mip·pōh מִפּ֔וֹ mip·pōw וְשֵׁ֥שׁ wə·šêš אַמּ֖וֹת ’am·mō·wṯ מִפּֽוֹ׃ square . mip·pōw Ezekiel 40:13 וַיָּ֣מָד Then he measured way·yā·māḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַשַּׁ֗עַר the gateway haš·ša·‘ar מִגַּ֤ג from the roof mig·gaḡ הַתָּא֙ of [one] gate chamber hat·tā לְגַגּ֔וֹ to the roof lə·ḡag·gōw רֹ֕חַב of the opposite one ; rō·ḥaḇ עֶשְׂרִ֥ים [the distance was] twenty-five ‘eś·rîm וְחָמֵ֖שׁ . . . wə·ḥā·mêš אַמּ֑וֹת cubits ’am·mō·wṯ פֶּ֖תַח from doorway pe·ṯaḥ נֶ֥גֶד to ne·ḡeḏ פָּֽתַח׃ doorway . pā·ṯaḥ Ezekiel 40:14 וַיַּ֥עַשׂ Next he measured way·ya·‘aś אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֵילִ֖ים the gateposts ’ê·lîm שִׁשִּׁ֣ים [to be] sixty šiš·šîm אַמָּ֑ה cubits [high] . ’am·māh הַשַּׁ֖עַר The gateway [extended] haš·ša·‘ar סָבִ֥יב׀ vvv sā·ḇîḇ סָבִֽיב׃ around sā·ḇîḇ וְאֶל־ to wə·’el- אֵיל֙ the gatepost ’êl הֶֽחָצֵ֔ר of the courtyard . he·ḥā·ṣêr Ezekiel 40:15 וְעַ֗ל And the distance from wə·‘al פְּנֵי֙ vvv pə·nê הַיֹּאתוֹן the entrance hay·yō·ṯōn הַשַּׁ֣עַר of the gateway haš·ša·‘ar עַל־ to ‘al- לִפְנֵ֕י the far end of lip̄·nê הַשַּׁ֖עַר [its] haš·ša·‘ar הַפְּנִימִ֑י inner hap·pə·nî·mî אֻלָ֥ם portico ’u·lām חֲמִשִּׁ֖ים [was] fifty ḥă·miš·šîm אַמָּֽה׃ cubits . ’am·māh Ezekiel 40:16 הַתָּאִ֡ים The gate chambers hat·tā·’îm וְאֶל֩ . . . wə·’el אֵלֵיהֵ֨מָה and their side pillars ’ê·lê·hê·māh אֶֽל־ had ’el- אֲטֻמ֣וֹת beveled ’ă·ṭu·mō·wṯ וְחַלֹּנ֣וֹת windows wə·ḥal·lō·nō·wṯ סָבִ֣יב׀ all around sā·ḇîḇ סָבִ֔יב . . . sā·ḇîḇ וְכֵ֖ן . . . wə·ḵên לִפְנִ֤ימָה the inside lip̄·nî·māh לַשַּׁ֙עַר֙ of the gateway . laš·ša·‘ar לָאֵֽלַמּ֑וֹת The porticos lā·’ê·lam·mō·wṯ וְחַלּוֹנ֞וֹת also had windows wə·ḥal·lō·w·nō·wṯ
