Ezekiel 38:11 וְאָמַרְתָּ֗ You will say , wə·’ā·mar·tā אֶֽעֱלֶה֙ ‘ I will go up ’e·‘ĕ·leh עַל־ against ‘al- אֶ֣רֶץ a land ’e·reṣ פְּרָז֔וֹת of unwalled villages ; pə·rā·zō·wṯ אָבוֹא֙ I will come against ’ā·ḇō·w הַשֹּׁ֣קְטִ֔ים a tranquil people haš·šō·qə·ṭîm יֹשְׁבֵ֖י who dwell yō·šə·ḇê לָבֶ֑טַח securely , lā·ḇe·ṭaḥ כֻּלָּ֗ם all kul·lām יֹֽשְׁבִים֙ of them living yō·šə·ḇîm בְּאֵ֣ין without bə·’ên חוֹמָ֔ה walls ḥō·w·māh אֵ֥ין [or] ’ên לָהֶֽם׃ lā·hem וּבְרִ֥יחַ bars ū·ḇə·rî·aḥ וּדְלָתַ֖יִם or gates — ū·ḏə·lā·ṯa·yim Ezekiel 38:12 לִשְׁלֹ֥ל in order to seize liš·lōl שָׁלָ֖ל the spoil šā·lāl וְלָבֹ֣ז and carry off the plunder wə·lā·ḇōz בַּ֑ז . . . , baz לְהָשִׁ֨יב to turn lə·hā·šîḇ יָדְךָ֜ a hand yā·ḏə·ḵā עַל־ against ‘al- חֳרָב֣וֹת the desolate places ḥo·rā·ḇō·wṯ נוֹשָׁבֹ֗ת now inhabited nō·wō·šā·ḇōṯ וְאֶל־ and against wə·’el- עַם֙ a people ‘am מְאֻסָּ֣ף gathered mə·’us·sāp̄ מִגּוֹיִ֔ם from the nations , mig·gō·w·yim עֹשֶׂה֙ who have acquired ‘ō·śeh מִקְנֶ֣ה livestock miq·neh וְקִנְיָ֔ן and possessions wə·qin·yān יֹשְׁבֵ֖י and who live yō·šə·ḇê עַל־ at ‘al- טַבּ֥וּר the center ṭab·būr הָאָֽרֶץ׃ of the land . ’ hā·’ā·reṣ Ezekiel 38:13 שְׁבָ֡א Sheba šə·ḇā וּ֠דְדָן and Dedan ū·ḏə·ḏān וְסֹחֲרֵ֨י and the merchants wə·sō·ḥă·rê תַרְשִׁ֤ישׁ of Tarshish ṯar·šîš וְכָל־ with all wə·ḵāl כְּפִרֶ֙יהָ֙ its villages kə·p̄i·re·hā יֹאמְר֣וּ will ask yō·mə·rū לְךָ֔ - , lə·ḵā אַתָּ֣ה ‘ Have you ’at·tāh בָ֔א come ḇā הֲלִשְׁלֹ֤ל to capture hă·liš·lōl שָׁלָל֙ the plunder ? šā·lāl הִקְהַ֣לְתָּ Have you assembled hiq·hal·tā קְהָלֶ֑ךָ your hordes qə·hā·le·ḵā הֲלָבֹ֥ז to carry away hă·lā·ḇōz בַּ֖ז loot , baz לָשֵׂ֣את׀ to make off lā·śêṯ כֶּ֣סֶף with silver ke·sep̄ וְזָהָ֗ב and gold , wə·zā·hāḇ לָקַ֙חַת֙ to take lā·qa·ḥaṯ מִקְנֶ֣ה cattle miq·neh וְקִנְיָ֔ן and goods , wə·qin·yān לִשְׁלֹ֖ל to seize liš·lōl גָּדֽוֹל׃ס great gā·ḏō·wl שָׁלָ֥ל spoil ? ’ šā·lāl Ezekiel 38:14 לָכֵן֙ Therefore lā·ḵên הִנָּבֵ֣א prophesy , hin·nā·ḇê בֶן־ son ḇen- אָדָ֔ם of man , ’ā·ḏām וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ and tell wə·’ā·mar·tā לְג֔וֹג Gog lə·ḡō·wḡ כֹּ֥ה that this is what kōh אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֑ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֖ר says : ’ā·mar הַה֗וּא On that ha·hū בַּיּ֣וֹם day bay·yō·wm עַמִּ֧י when My people ‘am·mî יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl בְּשֶׁ֨בֶת are dwelling bə·še·ḇeṯ לָבֶ֖טַח securely , lā·ḇe·ṭaḥ הֲל֣וֹא׀ will you not hă·lō·w תֵּדָֽע׃ take notice of this ? tê·ḏā‘ Ezekiel 38:15 וּבָ֤אתָ And you will come ū·ḇā·ṯā מִמְּקֽוֹמְךָ֙ from your place mim·mə·qō·wm·ḵā מִיַּרְכְּתֵ֣י out of the far mî·yar·kə·ṯê צָפ֔וֹן north — ṣā·p̄ō·wn אַתָּ֕ה you ’at·tāh רַבִּ֖ים and many rab·bîm וְעַמִּ֥ים peoples wə·‘am·mîm
