כּ֥וּשׁ Cush , kūš וּפ֖וּט and Put ū·p̄ūṭ אִתָּ֑ם will accompany them , ’it·tām כֻּלָּ֖ם all kul·lām מָגֵ֥ן with shields mā·ḡên וְכוֹבָֽע׃ and helmets , wə·ḵō·w·ḇā‘ Ezekiel 38:6 גֹּ֚מֶר [as well as] Gomer gō·mer וְכָל־ with all wə·ḵāl אֲגַפֶּ֔יהָ its troops , ’ă·ḡap·pe·hā בֵּ֚ית and Beth-togarmah bêṯ תּֽוֹגַרְמָ֔ה . . . tō·w·ḡar·māh יַרְכְּתֵ֥י from the far yar·kə·ṯê צָפ֖וֹן north ṣā·p̄ō·wn וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- כָּל־ with all kāl- אֲגַפָּ֑יו its troops — ’ă·ḡap·pāw רַבִּ֖ים the many rab·bîm עַמִּ֥ים nations ‘am·mîm אִתָּֽךְ׃ with you . ’it·tāḵ Ezekiel 38:7 הִכֹּן֙ Get ready ; hik·kōn וְהָכֵ֣ן prepare wə·hā·ḵên לְךָ֔ yourself , lə·ḵā אַתָּ֕ה you ’at·tāh וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl קְהָלֶ֖ךָ your company qə·hā·le·ḵā הַנִּקְהָלִ֣ים gathered han·niq·hā·lîm עָלֶ֑יךָ around you ; ‘ā·le·ḵā וְהָיִ֥יתָ you will be wə·hā·yî·ṯā לָהֶ֖ם their lā·hem לְמִשְׁמָֽר׃ guard . lə·miš·mār Ezekiel 38:8 רַבִּים֮ After a long rab·bîm מִיָּמִ֣ים time mî·yā·mîm תִּפָּקֵד֒ you will be summoned . tip·pā·qêḏ בְּאַחֲרִ֨ית In the latter bə·’a·ḥă·rîṯ הַשָּׁנִ֜ים years haš·šā·nîm תָּב֣וֹא׀ you will enter tā·ḇō·w אֶל־ . . . ’el- אֶ֣רֶץ׀ a land ’e·reṣ מְשׁוֹבֶ֣בֶת that has recovered mə·šō·w·ḇe·ḇeṯ מֵחֶ֗רֶב from war , mê·ḥe·reḇ מְקֻבֶּ֙צֶת֙ [whose people] were gathered mə·qub·be·ṣeṯ רַבִּ֔ים from many rab·bîm מֵעַמִּ֣ים nations mê·‘am·mîm עַ֚ל to ‘al הָרֵ֣י the mountains hā·rê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl אֲשֶׁר־ which ’ă·šer- תָּמִ֑יד had long tā·mîḏ הָי֥וּ been hā·yū לְחָרְבָּ֖ה desolate . lə·ḥā·rə·bāh וְהִיא֙ They wə·hî הוּצָ֔אָה had been brought out hū·ṣā·’āh מֵעַמִּ֣ים from the nations , mê·‘am·mîm כֻּלָּֽם׃ and all kul·lām וְיָשְׁב֥וּ now dwell wə·yā·šə·ḇū לָבֶ֖טַח securely . lā·ḇe·ṭaḥ Ezekiel 38:9 אַתָּה֙ You ’at·tāh וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl אֲגַפֶּ֔יךָ your troops , ’ă·ḡap·pe·ḵā רַבִּ֖ים and many rab·bîm וְעַמִּ֥ים peoples wə·‘am·mîm אוֹתָֽךְ׃ס with you ’ō·w·ṯāḵ וְעָלִ֙יתָ֙ will go up , wə·‘ā·lî·ṯā תָב֔וֹא advancing ṯā·ḇō·w כַּשֹּׁאָ֣ה like a thunderstorm ; kaš·šō·’āh תִּֽהְיֶ֑ה you will be tih·yeh כֶּעָנָ֛ן like a cloud ke·‘ā·nān לְכַסּ֥וֹת covering lə·ḵas·sō·wṯ הָאָ֖רֶץ the land . hā·’ā·reṣ Ezekiel 38:10 כֹּ֥ה This is what kōh אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֑ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֖ר says : ’ā·mar וְהָיָ֣ה׀ . . . wə·hā·yāh הַה֗וּא On that ha·hū בַּיּ֣וֹם day , bay·yō·wm דְבָרִים֙ thoughts ḏə·ḇā·rîm יַעֲל֤וּ will arise ya·‘ă·lū עַל־ in ‘al- לְבָבֶ֔ךָ your mind , lə·ḇā·ḇe·ḵā וְחָשַׁבְתָּ֖ and you will devise wə·ḥā·šaḇ·tā רָעָֽה׃ an evil rā·‘āh מַחֲשֶׁ֥בֶת plan . ma·ḥă·še·ḇeṯ
