Exodus 19:25 מֹשֶׁ֖ה So Moses mō·šeh וַיֵּ֥רֶד went down way·yê·reḏ אֶל־ to ’el- הָעָ֑ם the people hā·‘ām וַיֹּ֖אמֶר and spoke way·yō·mer אֲלֵהֶֽם׃ס to them . ’ă·lê·hem Exodus 20:1 אֱלֹהִ֔ים And God ’ĕ·lō·hîm אֵ֛ת - ’êṯ וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר spoke way·ḏab·bêr כָּל־ all kāl- הָאֵ֖לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh לֵאמֹֽר׃ס . . . lê·mōr הַדְּבָרִ֥ים words : had·də·ḇā·rîm Exodus 20:2 אָֽנֹכִ֖י֙ “ I ’ā·nō·ḵî יְהוָ֣ה am YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֑֔יךָ your God , ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā אֲשֶׁ֧ר who ’ă·šer הוֹצֵאתִ֛יךָ brought you out hō·w·ṣê·ṯî·ḵā מֵאֶ֥רֶץ of the land mê·’e·reṣ מִצְרַ֖יִם of Egypt , miṣ·ra·yim מִבֵּ֣֥ית out of the house mib·bêṯ עֲבָדִיֽ֑ם׃ of slavery . ʿă·ḇå̄·ḏīm Exodus 20:3 לְךָ֛֩ You lə·ḵå̄ יִהְיֶֽה־ shall have yih·yeh- לֹֽ֣א no lō אֲחֵרִ֖֜ים other ’ă·ḥê·rîm אֱלֹהִ֥֨ים gods ’ĕ·lō·hîm עַל־ before ‘al- פָּנָֽ֗יַ׃ Me . på̄·nå̄·ya Exodus 20:4 לֹֽ֣א {You shall} not lō תַֽעֲשֶׂ֨ה־ make ṯa·‘ă·śeh- לְךָ֥֣ for yourself lə·ḵā פֶ֣֙סֶל֙׀ an idol p̄ɛ·sɛl וְכָל־ in the form wə·ḵāl תְּמוּנָ֡֔ה of anything tə·mū·nāh אֲשֶׁ֤ר֣ - ʾă·šɛr בַּשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙׀ in the heavens baš·šå̄·ma·yim מִמַּ֡֔עַל above , mim·ma·‘al וַֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר֩ - wa·’ă·šer בָּאָ֖֨רֶץ on the earth bā·’ā·reṣ מִתַָּ֑֜חַת below , mit·tå̄·ḥaṯ וַאֲשֶׁ֥֣ר - wa·’ă·šer בַּמַּ֖֣יִם׀ or in the waters bam·ma·yim מִתַּ֥֣חַת beneath mit·ta·ḥaṯ לָאָֽ֗רֶץ׃ . . . . lå̄·ʾå̄·rɛṣ Exodus 20:5 לֹֽא־ You shall not lō- תִשְׁתַּחְוֶ֥֣ה bow down ṯiš·taḥ·wɛh לָהֶ֖ם֮ to them lā·hem וְלֹ֣א or wə·lō תָעָבְדֵ֑ם֒ worship them ; ṯā·‘ā·ḇə·ḏêm כִּ֣י for kî אָֽנֹכִ֞י I , ’ā·nō·ḵî יְהוָ֤ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ your God , ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā קַנָּ֔א am a jealous qan·nā אֵ֣ל God , ’êl פֹּ֠קֵד visiting pō·qêḏ עֲוֺ֨ן the iniquity ‘ă·wōn אָבֹ֧ת of the fathers ’ā·ḇōṯ עַל־ on ‘al- בָּנִ֛ים [their] children bā·nîm עַל־ to ‘al- שִׁלֵּשִׁ֥ים the third šil·lê·šîm וְעַל־ . . . wə·‘al- רִבֵּעִ֖ים and fourth [generations] rib·bê·‘îm לְשֹׂנְאָֽ֑י׃ of those who hate Me , lə·śō·nə·ʾå̄y Exodus 20:6 וְעֹ֥֤שֶׂה but showing wə·‘ō·śeh חֶ֖֙סֶד֙ loving devotion ḥe·seḏ לַאֲלָפִ֑֔ים to a thousand [generations] la·’ă·lā·p̄îm לְאֹהֲבַ֖י of those who love Me lə·’ō·hă·ḇay וּלְשֹׁמְרֵ֥י and keep ū·lə·šō·mə·rê מִצְוֺתָֽי׃ס My commandments . miṣ·wō·ṯāy Exodus 20:7 לֹ֥א You {shall} not lō תִשָּׂ֛א take ṯiś·śā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שֵֽׁם־ the name šêm- יְהוָ֥ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā
