לַשָּׁ֑וְא in vain , laš·šāw כִּ֣י for kî יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אֵ֛ת - ’êṯ לֹ֤א will not lō יְנַקֶּה֙ leave anyone unpunished yə·naq·qeh אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer- יִשָּׂ֥א takes yiś·śā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שְׁמ֖וֹ His name šə·mōw לַשָּֽׁוְא׃פ in vain . laš·šāw Exodus 20:8 זָכ֛וֹר֩ Remember zā·ḵō·wr אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַשַּׁבָּ֖֜ת the Sabbath haš·šab·bāṯ י֥֨וֹם day yō·wm לְקַדְּשֽׁ֗וֹ׃ by keeping it holy . lə·qad·də·šō Exodus 20:9 שֵׁ֤֣שֶׁת Six šê·šeṯ יָמִ֣ים֙ days yā·mîm תַּֽעֲבֹ֔ד֮ you shall labor ta·ʿă·ḇōḏ וְעָשִׂ֖֣יתָ and do wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā כָּל־ all kāl- מְלַאכְתֶּֽךָ֒׃ your work , mə·laḵ·tɛ·ḵå̄ Exodus 20:10 הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔֜י but the seventh haš·šə·ḇî·‘î וְי֙וֹם֙ day wə·yō·wm שַׁבָּ֖֣ת׀ is a Sabbath šab·bāṯ לַיהוָ֣ה to YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֑֗יךָ your God , ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā לֹֽ֣א־ on which you must not lō- תַעֲשֶׂ֣֨ה do ṯa·‘ă·śeh כָל־ any ḵāl מְלָאכָ֡֜ה work — mə·lā·ḵāh אַתָּ֣ה׀ neither you , ’at·tāh וּבִנְךָֽ֣־ nor your son ū·ḇin·ḵå̄- וּ֠בִתֶּ֗ךָ or daughter , ū·ḇit·te·ḵā עַבְדְּךָ֤֨ nor your manservant ‘aḇ·də·ḵā וַאֲמָֽתְךָ֜֙ or maidservant wa·’ă·mā·ṯə·ḵā וּבְהֶמְתֶּ֔֗ךָ or livestock , ū·ḇə·hem·te·ḵā וְגֵרְךָ֖֙ nor the foreigner wə·ḡê·rə·ḵā אֲשֶׁ֥֣ר within ’ă·šer בִּשְׁעָרֶֽ֔יךָ׃ your gates . biš·ʿå̄·rɛ·ḵå̄ Exodus 20:11 כִּ֣י For kî שֵֽׁשֶׁת־ [in] six šê·šeṯ- יָמִים֩ days yā·mîm יְהוָ֜ה YHWH Yah·weh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עָשָׂ֨ה made ‘ā·śāh הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם the heavens haš·šā·ma·yim וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הָאָ֗רֶץ and the earth hā·’ā·reṣ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַיָּם֙ and the sea hay·yām וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- בָּ֔ם [is] in them , bām הַשְּׁבִיעִ֑י but on the seventh haš·šə·ḇî·‘î בַּיּ֣וֹם day bay·yō·wm וַיָּ֖נַח He rested . way·yā·naḥ עַל־ Therefore ‘al- כֵּ֗ן . . . kên יְהוָ֛ה YHWH Yah·weh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בֵּרַ֧ךְ blessed bê·raḵ הַשַּׁבָּ֖ת the Sabbath haš·šab·bāṯ י֥וֹם day yō·wm וַֽיְקַדְּשֵֽׁהוּ׃ס and set it apart as holy . way·qad·də·šê·hū Exodus 20:12 כַּבֵּ֥ד Honor kab·bêḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אָבִ֖יךָ your father ’ā·ḇî·ḵā וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- אִמֶּ֑ךָ and mother , ’im·me·ḵā לְמַ֙עַן֙ so that lə·ma·‘an יָמֶ֔יךָ your days yā·me·ḵā יַאֲרִכ֣וּן may be long ya·’ă·ri·ḵūn עַ֚ל in ‘al הָאֲדָמָ֔ה the land hā·’ă·ḏā·māh אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā נֹתֵ֥ן is giving nō·ṯên לָֽךְ׃ס you . lāḵ Exodus 20:13 לֹ֥֖א You shall not lō
