עוֹד֙ longer allow ‘ō·wḏ כְּלִמַּ֣ת the taunts kə·lim·maṯ הַגּוֹיִ֔ם of the nations hag·gō·w·yim אַשְׁמִ֨יעַ to be heard ’aš·mî·a‘ אֵלַ֤יִךְ against you , ’ê·la·yiḵ לֹ֣א and you will no lō ע֑וֹד longer ‘ō·wḏ תִשְׂאִי־ endure ṯiś·’î- וְחֶרְפַּ֥ת the reproach wə·ḥer·paṯ עַמִּ֖ים of the peoples ‘am·mîm לֹא־ [or] lō- ע֔וֹד . . . ‘ō·wḏ וְגוֹיֵךְ cause your nation wə·ḡō·yēḵ תַכְשִׁ֣לִי to stumble , ṯaḵ·ši·lî נְאֻ֖ם declares nə·’um אֲדֹנָ֥י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִֽה׃ס YHWH . ” Yah·weh Ezekiel 36:16 דְבַר־ Again the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִ֥י came way·hî אֵלַ֥י to me , ’ê·lay לֵאמֹֽר׃ saying , lê·mōr Ezekiel 36:17 בֶּן־ “ Son ben- אָדָ֗ם of man , ’ā·ḏām בֵּ֤ית when the people bêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ of Israel yiś·rā·’êl יֹשְׁבִ֣ים lived yō·šə·ḇîm עַל־ in ‘al- אַדְמָתָ֔ם their land , ’aḏ·mā·ṯām וַיְטַמְּא֣וּ they defiled way·ṭam·mə·’ū אוֹתָ֔הּ it ’ō·w·ṯāh בְּדַרְכָּ֖ם by their own ways bə·ḏar·kām וּבַעֲלִֽילוֹתָ֑ם and deeds . ū·ḇa·‘ă·lî·lō·w·ṯām דַרְכָּ֖ם Their behavior ḏar·kām לְפָנָֽי׃ before Me lə·p̄ā·nāy הָיְתָ֥ה was hā·yə·ṯāh כְּטֻמְאַת֙ like the uncleanness kə·ṭum·’aṯ הַנִּדָּ֔ה of a [woman’s] impurity . han·nid·dāh Ezekiel 36:18 וָאֶשְׁפֹּ֤ךְ So I poured out wā·’eš·pōḵ חֲמָתִי֙ My wrath ḥă·mā·ṯî עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם upon them ‘ă·lê·hem עַל־ because of ‘al- הַדָּ֖ם the blood had·dām אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- שָׁפְכ֣וּ they had shed šā·p̄ə·ḵū עַל־ on ‘al- הָאָ֑רֶץ the land , hā·’ā·reṣ טִמְּאֽוּהָ׃ and because they had defiled ṭim·mə·’ū·hā וּבְגִלּוּלֵיהֶ֖ם it with their idols . ū·ḇə·ḡil·lū·lê·hem Ezekiel 36:19 וָאָפִ֤יץ I dispersed wā·’ā·p̄îṣ אֹתָם֙ them ’ō·ṯām בַּגּוֹיִ֔ם among the nations , bag·gō·w·yim וַיִּזָּר֖וּ and they were scattered way·yiz·zā·rū בָּאֲרָצ֑וֹת throughout the lands . bā·’ă·rā·ṣō·wṯ שְׁפַטְתִּֽים׃ I judged them šə·p̄aṭ·tîm כְּדַרְכָּ֥ם according to their ways kə·ḏar·kām וְכַעֲלִילוֹתָ֖ם and deeds . wə·ḵa·‘ă·lî·lō·w·ṯām Ezekiel 36:20 וַיָּב֗וֹא - way·yā·ḇō·w אֶל־ - ’el- אֲשֶׁר־ And wherever ’ă·šer- בָּ֣אוּ they went bā·’ū הַגּוֹיִם֙ among the nations , hag·gō·w·yim שָׁ֔ם . . . šām וַֽיְחַלְּל֖וּ they profaned way·ḥal·lə·lū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- קָדְשִׁ֑י My holy qāḏ·šî שֵׁ֣ם name , šêm בֶּאֱמֹ֤ר because it was said be·’ĕ·mōr לָהֶם֙ of them , lā·hem אֵ֔לֶּה ‘ These ’êl·leh עַם־ are the people ‘am- יְהוָ֣ה of YHWH , Yah·weh יָצָֽאוּ׃ yet they had to leave yā·ṣā·’ū וּמֵאַרְצ֖וֹ His land . ’ ū·mê·’ar·ṣōw Ezekiel 36:21 וָאֶחְמֹ֖ל But I had concern wā·’eḥ·mōl עַל־ for ‘al- קָדְשִׁ֑י My holy qāḏ·šî שֵׁ֣ם name , šêm אֲשֶׁ֤ר which ’ă·šer בֵּ֣ית the house bêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl חִלְּל֙וּהוּ֙ had profaned ḥil·lə·lū·hū
