הַשֹּֽׁמְמוֹת֙ to the desolate haš·šō·mə·mō·wṯ וְלֶחֳרָב֤וֹת ruins wə·le·ḥo·rā·ḇō·wṯ הַנֶּעֱזָב֔וֹת and abandoned han·ne·‘ĕ·zā·ḇō·wṯ וְלֶעָרִ֣ים cities , wə·le·‘ā·rîm אֲשֶׁ֨ר which ’ă·šer הָי֤וּ have become hā·yū לְבַז֙ a spoil lə·ḇaz וּלְלַ֔עַג and a mockery ū·lə·la·‘aḡ לִשְׁאֵרִ֥ית to the rest liš·’ê·rîṯ הַגּוֹיִ֖ם of the nations hag·gō·w·yim אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer מִסָּבִֽיב׃ס around you . mis·sā·ḇîḇ Ezekiel 36:5 לָכֵ֗ן Therefore lā·ḵên כֹּֽה־ this is what kōh- אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִה֒ YHWH Yah·weh אָמַר֮ says : ’ā·mar אִם־ Surely ’im- לֹ֠א . . . lō בְּאֵ֨שׁ in My burning bə·’êš קִנְאָתִ֥י zeal qin·’ā·ṯî דִבַּ֛רְתִּי I have spoken ḏib·bar·tî עַל־ against ‘al- שְׁאֵרִ֥ית the rest šə·’ê·rîṯ הַגּוֹיִ֖ם of the nations , hag·gō·w·yim וְעַל־ and against wə·‘al- כֻּלָּ֑א all kul·lā אֱד֣וֹם Edom , ’ĕ·ḏō·wm אֲשֶׁ֣ר who ’ă·šer נָתְנֽוּ־ took nā·ṯə·nū- אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אַרְצִ֣י׀ My land ’ar·ṣî לָ֠הֶם . . . lā·hem לְמ֨וֹרָשָׁ֜ה as their own possession lə·mō·w·rā·šāh כָּל־ with wholehearted kāl- לֵבָב֙ . . . lê·ḇāḇ בְּשִׂמְחַ֤ת joy bə·śim·ḥaṯ בִּשְׁאָ֣ט and utter contempt biš·’āṭ נֶ֔פֶשׁ . . . , ne·p̄eš לְמַ֥עַן so that lə·ma·‘an מִגְרָשָׁ֖הּ its pastureland miḡ·rā·šāh לָבַֽז׃ became plunder . lā·ḇaz Ezekiel 36:6 לָכֵ֕ן Therefore , lā·ḵên הִנָּבֵ֖א prophesy hin·nā·ḇê עַל־ concerning ‘al- אַדְמַ֣ת the land ’aḏ·maṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl וְאָמַרְתָּ֡ and tell wə·’ā·mar·tā לֶהָרִ֣ים the mountains le·hā·rîm וְ֠לַגְּבָעוֹת and hills , wə·lag·gə·ḇā·‘ō·wṯ לָאֲפִיקִ֨ים the ravines lā·’ă·p̄î·qîm וְלַגֵּאָי֜וֹת and valleys , wə·lag·gê·’ā·yō·wṯ כֹּֽה־ that this is what kōh- אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר׀ says : ’ā·mar הִנְנִ֨י Behold , hin·nî דִּבַּ֔רְתִּי I have spoken dib·bar·tî וּבַחֲמָתִי֙ in My burning ū·ḇa·ḥă·mā·ṯî בְקִנְאָתִ֤י zeal ḇə·qin·’ā·ṯî יַ֛עַן because ya·‘an נְשָׂאתֶֽם׃ you have endured nə·śā·ṯem כְּלִמַּ֥ת the reproach kə·lim·maṯ גּוֹיִ֖ם of the nations . gō·w·yim Ezekiel 36:7 לָכֵ֗ן Therefore lā·ḵên כֹּ֤ה this is what kōh אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַר֙ says : ’ā·mar אֲנִ֖י I ’ă·nî נָשָׂ֣אתִי have sworn nā·śā·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יָדִ֑י with an uplifted hand yā·ḏî אִם־ that surely ’im- לֹ֤א . . . lō הַגּוֹיִם֙ the nations hag·gō·w·yim אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer מִסָּבִ֔יב around mis·sā·ḇîḇ לָכֶ֣ם you lā·ḵem הֵ֖מָּה . . . hêm·māh יִשָּֽׂאוּ׃ will endure yiś·śā·’ū כְּלִמָּתָ֥ם reproach of their own . kə·lim·mā·ṯām Ezekiel 36:8 וְאַתֶּ֞ם But you , wə·’at·tem הָרֵ֤י O mountains hā·rê יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl תִּתֵּ֔נוּ will produce tit·tê·nū עַנְפְּכֶ֣ם branches ‘an·pə·ḵem תִּשְׂא֖וּ and bear tiś·’ū
