Ezekiel 35:15 כְּשִׂמְחָ֨תְךָ֜ As you rejoiced kə·śim·ḥā·ṯə·ḵā לְנַחְלַ֧ת when the inheritance lə·naḥ·laṯ בֵּֽית־ of the house bêṯ- יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl עַ֥ל - ‘al אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- שָׁמֵ֖מָה became desolate , šā·mê·māh כֵּ֣ן so kên אֶעֱשֶׂה־ will I do ’e·‘ĕ·śeh- לָּ֑ךְ to you . lāḵ תִֽהְיֶ֤ה You will become ṯih·yeh שְׁמָמָ֨ה a desolation , šə·mā·māh הַר־ O Mount har- שֵׂעִיר֙ Seir , śê·‘îr וְכָל־ and so will all wə·ḵāl אֱד֣וֹם of Edom ’ĕ·ḏō·wm כֻּלָּ֔הּ - . kul·lāh וְיָדְע֖וּ Then they will know wə·yā·ḏə·‘ū כִּֽי־ that kî- אֲנִ֥י I ’ă·nî יְהוָֽה׃פ am YHWH . [’’] Yah·weh Ezekiel 36:1 וְאַתָּ֣ה [“] And you , wə·’at·tāh בֶן־ son ḇen- אָדָ֔ם of man , ’ā·ḏām הִנָּבֵ֖א prophesy hin·nā·ḇê אֶל־ to ’el- הָרֵ֣י the mountains hā·rê יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl וְאָ֣מַרְתָּ֔ and say : wə·’ā·mar·tā הָרֵי֙ O mountains hā·rê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl שִׁמְע֖וּ hear šim·‘ū דְּבַר־ the word də·ḇar- יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH . Yah·weh Ezekiel 36:2 כֹּ֤ה This is what kōh אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַר֙ says : ’ā·mar יַ֣עַן Because ya·‘an הָאוֹיֵ֛ב the enemy hā·’ō·w·yêḇ אָמַ֧ר has said ’ā·mar עֲלֵיכֶ֖ם of you , ‘ă·lê·ḵem הֶאָ֑ח ‘ Aha ! he·’āḥ עוֹלָ֔ם The ancient ‘ō·w·lām וּבָמ֣וֹת heights ū·ḇā·mō·wṯ הָ֥יְתָה have become hā·yə·ṯāh לָּֽנוּ׃ our lā·nū לְמֽוֹרָשָׁ֖ה possession , ’ lə·mō·w·rā·šāh Ezekiel 36:3 לָכֵן֙ therefore lā·ḵên הִנָּבֵ֣א prophesy hin·nā·ḇê וְאָמַרְתָּ֔ and declare wə·’ā·mar·tā כֹּ֥ה that this is what kōh אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֑ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֖ר says : ’ā·mar יַ֣עַן Because ya·‘an בְּיַ֡עַן . . . bə·ya·‘an שַׁמּוֹת֩ they have made you desolate šam·mō·wṯ וְשָׁאֹ֨ף and have trampled wə·šā·’ōp̄ אֶתְכֶ֜ם you ’eṯ·ḵem מִסָּבִ֗יב on every side , mis·sā·ḇîḇ לִֽהְיוֹתְכֶ֤ם so that you became lih·yō·wṯ·ḵem מֽוֹרָשָׁה֙ a possession mō·w·rā·šāh לִשְׁאֵרִ֣ית of the rest liš·’ê·rîṯ הַגּוֹיִ֔ם of the nations hag·gō·w·yim וַתֵּֽעֲל֛וּ and were taken up wat·tê·‘ă·lū וְדִבַּת־ in slander wə·ḏib·baṯ- עַל־ by ‘al- שְׂפַ֥ת the lips śə·p̄aṯ לָשׁ֖וֹן of [their] talkers lā·šō·wn עָֽם׃ . . . , ‘ām Ezekiel 36:4 לָכֵן֙ therefore , lā·ḵên הָרֵ֣י O mountains hā·rê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl שִׁמְע֖וּ hear šim·‘ū דְּבַר־ the word də·ḇar- אֲדֹנָ֣י of the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֑ה YHWH . Yah·weh כֹּֽה־ This is what kōh- אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְ֠הוִה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says ’ā·mar לֶהָרִ֨ים to the mountains le·hā·rîm וְלַגְּבָע֜וֹת and hills , wə·lag·gə·ḇā·‘ō·wṯ לָאֲפִיקִ֣ים to the ravines lā·’ă·p̄î·qîm וְלַגֵּאָי֗וֹת and valleys , wə·lag·gê·’ā·yō·wṯ
