הַ֣ר Mount har שֵׂעִ֑יר Seir śê·‘îr וְהִנָּבֵ֖א and prophesy wə·hin·nā·ḇê עָלָֽיו׃ against it , ‘ā·lāw Ezekiel 35:3 וְאָמַ֣רְתָּ and declare wə·’ā·mar·tā לּ֗וֹ . . . lōw כֹּ֤ה that this is what kōh אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַר֙ says : ’ā·mar הִנְנִ֥י Behold , hin·nî אֵלֶ֖יךָ I am against you , ’ê·le·ḵā הַר־ O Mount har- שֵׂעִ֑יר Seir . śê·‘îr וְנָטִ֤יתִי I will stretch out wə·nā·ṭî·ṯî יָדִי֙ My hand yā·ḏî עָלֶ֔יךָ against you ‘ā·le·ḵā וּנְתַתִּ֖יךָ and make ū·nə·ṯat·tî·ḵā שְׁמָמָ֥ה you a desolate šə·mā·māh וּמְשַׁמָּֽה׃ waste . ū·mə·šam·māh Ezekiel 35:4 עָרֶ֙יךָ֙ I will turn your cities ‘ā·re·ḵā אָשִׂ֔ים into ’ā·śîm חָרְבָּ֣ה ruins , ḥā·rə·bāh וְאַתָּ֖ה and you wə·’at·tāh תִֽהְיֶ֑ה will become ṯih·yeh שְׁמָמָ֣ה a desolation . šə·mā·māh וְיָדַעְתָּ֖ Then you will know wə·yā·ḏa‘·tā כִּֽי־ that kî- אֲנִ֥י I ’ă·nî יְהוָֽה׃ am YHWH . Yah·weh Ezekiel 35:5 יַ֗עַן Because ya·‘an הֱי֤וֹת you harbored hĕ·yō·wṯ לְךָ֙ lə·ḵā עוֹלָ֔ם an ancient ‘ō·w·lām אֵיבַ֣ת hatred ’ê·ḇaṯ וַתַּגֵּ֥ר and delivered wat·tag·gêr אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּנֵֽי־ the Israelites bə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl עַל־ over to ‘al- יְדֵי־ . . . yə·ḏê- חָ֑רֶב the sword ḥā·reḇ בְּעֵ֣ת in the time bə·‘êṯ אֵידָ֔ם of their disaster ’ê·ḏām בְּעֵ֖ת at the final stage bə·‘êṯ קֵֽץ׃ . . . qêṣ עֲוֺ֥ן of their punishment , ‘ă·wōn Ezekiel 35:6 לָכֵ֣ן therefore lā·ḵên אָ֗נִי as surely as I ’ā·nî חַי־ live , ḥay- נְאֻם֙ declares nə·’um אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֔ה YHWH , Yah·weh כִּֽי־ kî- אֶעֶשְׂךָ֖ I will give you over ’e·‘eś·ḵā לְדָ֥ם to bloodshed lə·ḏām וְדָ֣ם and [it] wə·ḏām יִרְדֲּפֶ֑ךָ will pursue you . yir·dă·p̄e·ḵā אִם־ Since ’im- לֹ֥א you did not lō שָׂנֵ֖אתָ hate śā·nê·ṯā דָ֛ם bloodshed , ḏām וְדָ֥ם it wə·ḏām יִרְדֲּפֶֽךָ׃ will pursue you . yir·dă·p̄e·ḵā Ezekiel 35:7 וְנָֽתַתִּי֙ I will make wə·nā·ṯat·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַ֣ר Mount har שֵׂעִ֔יר Seir śê·‘îr לְשִֽׁמְמָ֖ה a desolate lə·šim·māh וּשְׁמָמָ֑ה waste ū·šə·mā·māh וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י and will cut off wə·hiḵ·rat·tî מִמֶּ֖נּוּ from it mim·men·nū וָשָֽׁב׃ those who come wā·šāḇ עֹבֵ֥ר and go . ‘ō·ḇêr Ezekiel 35:8 וּמִלֵּאתִ֥י I will fill ū·mil·lê·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָרָ֖יו its mountains hā·rāw חֲלָלָ֑יו with the slain ; ḥă·lā·lāw חַלְלֵי־ those killed ḥal·lê- חֶ֖רֶב by the sword ḥe·reḇ יִפְּל֥וּ will fall yip·pə·lū בָהֶֽם׃ ḇā·hem
