הַנִּדַּ֙חַת֙ the strays , han·nid·da·ḥaṯ לֹ֣א . . . lō בִקַּשְׁתֶּ֑ם or searched for ḇiq·qaš·tem הָאֹבֶ֖דֶת the lost . hā·’ō·ḇe·ḏeṯ לֹ֣א Instead , lō רְדִיתֶ֥ם you have ruled rə·ḏî·ṯem אֹתָ֖ם them ’ō·ṯām וּבְחָזְקָ֛ה with violence ū·ḇə·ḥā·zə·qāh וּבְפָֽרֶךְ׃ and cruelty . ū·ḇə·p̄ā·reḵ Ezekiel 34:5 וַתְּפוּצֶ֖ינָה They were scattered wat·tə·p̄ū·ṣe·nāh מִבְּלִ֣י for lack of mib·bə·lî רֹעֶ֑ה a shepherd , rō·‘eh וַתְּפוּצֶֽינָה׃ and when they were scattered wat·tə·p̄ū·ṣe·nāh וַתִּהְיֶ֧ינָה they became wat·tih·ye·nāh לְאָכְלָ֛ה food lə·’āḵ·lāh לְכָל־ for all lə·ḵāl הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה the wild haś·śā·ḏeh חַיַּ֥ת beasts . ḥay·yaṯ Ezekiel 34:6 צֹאנִי֙ My flock ṣō·nî יִשְׁגּ֤וּ went astray yiš·gū בְּכָל־ on all bə·ḵāl הֶ֣הָרִ֔ים the mountains he·hā·rîm וְעַ֖ל and wə·‘al כָּל־ every kāl- רָמָ֑ה high rā·māh וְעַ֨ל . . . wə·‘al גִּבְעָ֣ה hill . giḇ·‘āh נָפֹ֣צוּ They were scattered nā·p̄ō·ṣū צֹאנִ֔י . . . ṣō·nî פְּנֵ֤י over the face pə·nê כָּל־ of all kāl- הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ the earth , hā·’ā·reṣ וְאֵ֥ין with no one wə·’ên דּוֹרֵ֖שׁ to search [for them] dō·w·rêš וְאֵ֥ין or wə·’ên מְבַקֵּֽשׁ׃ seek them out . ’ mə·ḇaq·qêš Ezekiel 34:7 לָכֵ֣ן Therefore , lā·ḵên רֹעִ֔ים you shepherds , rō·‘îm שִׁמְע֖וּ hear šim·‘ū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- דְּבַ֥ר the word də·ḇar יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH : Yah·weh Ezekiel 34:8 אָ֜נִי ‘ As surely as I ’ā·nî אִם־ . . . ’im- חַי־ live , ḥay- נְאֻ֣ם׀ declares nə·’um אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֗ה YHWH , Yah·weh לֹ֣א - lō יַ֣עַן because ya·‘an צֹאנִ֣י׀ My flock ṣō·nî מֵאֵ֣ין lacks mê·’ên רֹעֶ֔ה a shepherd rō·‘eh הֱיֽוֹת־ and has become hĕ·yō·wṯ- לָבַ֡ז prey lā·ḇaz וַתִּֽהְיֶינָה֩ . . . wat·tih·ye·nāh צֹאנִ֨י [and] ṣō·nî לְאָכְלָ֜ה food lə·’āḵ·lāh לְכָל־ for every lə·ḵāl הַשָּׂדֶה֙ wild haś·śā·ḏeh חַיַּ֤ת beast , ḥay·yaṯ רֹעַ֖י and because My shepherds rō·‘ay וְלֹֽא־ did not wə·lō- דָרְשׁ֥וּ search ḏā·rə·šū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- צֹאנִ֑י for My flock ṣō·nî וַיִּרְע֤וּ but fed way·yir·‘ū הָֽרֹעִים֙ - hā·rō·‘îm אוֹתָ֔ם themselves ’ō·w·ṯām וְאֶת־ [instead] wə·’eṯ- לֹ֥א . . . lō רָעֽוּ׃ס . . . rā·‘ū צֹאנִ֖י . . . , ṣō·nî Ezekiel 34:9 לָכֵן֙ therefore , lā·ḵên הָֽרֹעִ֔ים you shepherds , hā·rō·‘îm שִׁמְע֖וּ hear šim·‘ū דְּבַר־ the word də·ḇar- יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH ! ’ Yah·weh Ezekiel 34:10 כֹּה־ This is what kōh- אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֞ר says : ’ā·mar
