הַפָּלִ֔יט the fugitive hap·pā·lîṭ בּ֣וֹא arrived , bō·w וְיַד־ the hand wə·yaḏ- יְהוָה֩ of YHWH Yah·weh הָיְתָ֨ה was hā·yə·ṯāh אֵלַ֜י upon me , ’ê·lay וַיִּפְתַּ֣ח and He opened way·yip̄·taḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- פִּ֔י my mouth pî עַד־ before ‘aḏ- בּ֥וֹא the man came bō·w אֵלַ֖י to me ’ê·lay בַּבֹּ֑קֶר in the morning . bab·bō·qer פִּ֔י So my mouth pî וַיִּפָּ֣תַח was opened way·yip·pā·ṯaḥ וְלֹ֥א and I was no wə·lō עֽוֹד׃פ longer ‘ō·wḏ נֶאֱלַ֖מְתִּי mute . ne·’ĕ·lam·tî Ezekiel 33:23 דְבַר־ Then the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהֹוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִ֥י came way·hî אֵלַ֥י to me , ’ê·lay לֵאמֹֽר׃ saying , lê·mōr Ezekiel 33:24 בֶּן־ “ Son ben- אָדָ֗ם of man , ’ā·ḏām יֹ֠שְׁבֵי those living yō·šə·ḇê הָאֵ֜לֶּה in the hā·’êl·leh הֶחֳרָב֨וֹת ruins he·ḥo·rā·ḇō·wṯ עַל־ in ‘al- אַדְמַ֤ת the land ’aḏ·maṯ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ of Israel yiś·rā·’êl אֹמְרִ֣ים are saying , ’ō·mə·rîm לֵאמֹ֔ר . . . lê·mōr אַבְרָהָ֔ם ‘ Abraham ’aḇ·rā·hām הָיָ֣ה was hā·yāh אֶחָד֙ only one man , ’e·ḥāḏ וַיִּירַ֖שׁ yet he possessed way·yî·raš אֶת־ ’eṯ- הָאָ֑רֶץ the land . hā·’ā·reṣ וַאֲנַ֣חְנוּ But we wa·’ă·naḥ·nū רַבִּ֔ים are many ; rab·bîm הָאָ֖רֶץ [surely] the land hā·’ā·reṣ נִתְּנָ֥ה has been given nit·tə·nāh לָ֛נוּ to us lā·nū לְמוֹרָשָֽׁה׃ס as a possession . ’ lə·mō·w·rā·šāh Ezekiel 33:25 לָכֵן֩ Therefore lā·ḵên אֱמֹ֨ר tell ’ĕ·mōr אֲלֵיהֶ֜ם them ’ă·lê·hem כֹּֽה־ that this is what kōh- אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהֹוִ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh עַל־ . . . ‘al- אָמַ֣ר׀ says : ’ā·mar תֹּאכֵ֛לוּ ‘ You eat tō·ḵê·lū הַדָּ֧ם׀ meat with the blood [in it] , had·dām תִּשְׂא֥וּ lift up tiś·’ū וְעֵינֵכֶ֛ם your eyes wə·‘ê·nê·ḵem אֶל־ to ’el- גִּלּוּלֵיכֶ֖ם your idols , gil·lū·lê·ḵem תִּשְׁפֹּ֑כוּ and shed tiš·pō·ḵū וְדָ֣ם blood . wə·ḏām תִּירָֽשׁוּ׃ Should you then possess tî·rā·šū וְהָאָ֖רֶץ the land ? wə·hā·’ā·reṣ Ezekiel 33:26 עֲמַדְתֶּ֤ם You have relied ‘ă·maḏ·tem עַֽל־ on ‘al- חַרְבְּכֶם֙ your swords , ḥar·bə·ḵem עֲשִׂיתֶ֣ן you have committed ‘ă·śî·ṯen תּוֹעֵבָ֔ה detestable acts , tō·w·‘ê·ḇāh וְאִ֛ישׁ and each wə·’îš אֶת־ - ’eṯ- טִמֵּאתֶ֑ם of you has defiled ṭim·mê·ṯem רֵעֵ֖הוּ his neighbor’s rê·‘ê·hū אֵ֥שֶׁת wife . ’ê·šeṯ תִּירָֽשׁוּ׃ס Should you then possess tî·rā·šū וְהָאָ֖רֶץ the land ? ’ wə·hā·’ā·reṣ Ezekiel 33:27 תֹאמַ֨ר Tell ṯō·mar אֲלֵהֶ֜ם them ’ă·lê·hem כֹּֽה־ that this kōh- כֹּה־ is what kōh- אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִה֮ YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֨ר says : ’ā·mar אָנִי֒ ‘ As surely as I ’ā·nî אִם־ . . . ’im- לֹ֞א . . . lō
