מֵעֲרֵלִ֑ים of old , mê·‘ă·rê·lîm אֲשֶׁ֣ר who ’ă·šer יָרְדֽוּ־ went down yā·rə·ḏū- שְׁא֣וֹל to Sheol šə·’ō·wl בִּכְלֵֽי־ with their weapons biḵ·lê- מִלְחַמְתָּם֩ of war , mil·ḥam·tām חַרְבוֹתָ֜ם whose swords ḥar·ḇō·w·ṯām וַיִּתְּנ֨וּ were placed way·yit·tə·nū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- תַּ֣חַת under ta·ḥaṯ רָאשֵׁיהֶ֗ם their heads , rā·šê·hem עֲוֺֽנֹתָם֙ whose shields ‘ă·wō·nō·ṯām וַתְּהִ֤י rested wat·tə·hî עַל־ on ‘al- עַצְמוֹתָ֔ם their bones , ‘aṣ·mō·w·ṯām כִּֽי־ although kî- חִתִּ֥ית the terror ḥit·tîṯ גִּבּוֹרִ֖ים of the mighty gib·bō·w·rîm בְּאֶ֥רֶץ was once in the land bə·’e·reṣ חַיִּֽים׃ of the living . ḥay·yîm Ezekiel 32:28 וְאַתָּ֗ה But you too wə·’at·tāh תִּשָּׁבַ֥ר will be shattered tiš·šā·ḇar וְתִשְׁכַּ֖ב and lie down wə·ṯiš·kaḇ בְּת֧וֹךְ among bə·ṯō·wḵ עֲרֵלִ֛ים the uncircumcised , ‘ă·rê·lîm אֶת־ with ’eṯ- חַלְלֵי־ those slain ḥal·lê- חָֽרֶב׃ by the sword . ḥā·reḇ Ezekiel 32:29 אֱד֗וֹם Edom ’ĕ·ḏō·wm שָׁ֣מָּה is there , šām·māh וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl מְלָכֶ֙יהָ֙ her kings mə·lā·ḵe·hā נְשִׂיאֶ֔יהָ and princes , nə·śî·’e·hā אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer- בִגְבוּרָתָ֖ם despite their might ḇiḡ·ḇū·rā·ṯām נִתְּנ֥וּ are laid nit·tə·nū אֶת־ among ’eṯ- חַלְלֵי־ those slain ḥal·lê- חָ֑רֶב by the sword . ḥā·reḇ הֵ֛מָּה They hêm·māh יִשְׁכָּ֖בוּ lie down yiš·kā·ḇū אֶת־ with ’eṯ- עֲרֵלִ֥ים the uncircumcised , ‘ă·rê·lîm וְאֶת־ with wə·’eṯ- יֹ֥רְדֵי those who descend yō·rə·ḏê בֽוֹר׃ to the Pit . ḇō·wr Ezekiel 32:30 כֻּלָּ֖ם All kul·lām נְסִיכֵ֥י the leaders nə·sî·ḵê צָפ֛וֹן of the north ṣā·p̄ō·wn וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl צִֽדֹנִ֑י the Sidonians ṣi·ḏō·nî שָׁ֣מָּה are there ; šām·māh אֲשֶׁר־ they ’ă·šer- יָרְד֣וּ went down yā·rə·ḏū בּוֹשִׁ֔ים in disgrace bō·wō·šîm אֶת־ with ’eṯ- חֲלָלִ֗ים the slain , ḥă·lā·lîm בְּחִתִּיתָ֤ם despite the terror bə·ḥit·tî·ṯām מִגְבֽוּרָתָם֙ of their might . miḡ·ḇū·rā·ṯām וַיִּשְׁכְּב֤וּ They lie way·yiš·kə·ḇū עֲרֵלִים֙ uncircumcised ‘ă·rê·lîm אֶת־ with ’eṯ- חַלְלֵי־ those slain ḥal·lê- חֶ֔רֶב by the sword ḥe·reḇ וַיִּשְׂא֥וּ and bear way·yiś·’ū כְלִמָּתָ֖ם their shame ḵə·lim·mā·ṯām אֶת־ with ’eṯ- י֥וֹרְדֵי those who descend yō·wr·ḏê בֽוֹר׃ to the Pit . ḇō·wr Ezekiel 32:31 אוֹתָם֙ - ’ō·w·ṯām פַרְעֹ֔ה Pharaoh p̄ar·‘ōh יִרְאֶ֣ה will see them yir·’eh וְנִחַ֖ם and be comforted wə·ni·ḥam עַל־ over ‘al- כָּל־ all kāl- הֲמוֹנֹה his multitude — hă·mō·nōh פַּרְעֹ֣ה Pharaoh par·‘ōh וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl חֵיל֔וֹ his army , ḥê·lōw חַלְלֵי־ slain ḥal·lê- חֶ֙רֶב֙ by the sword , ḥe·reḇ נְאֻ֖ם declares nə·’um אֲדֹנָ֥י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִֽה׃ YHWH .
