לְהַשְׁמָע֖וּת and tell you the news lə·haš·mā·‘ūṯ אָזְנָֽיִם׃ . . . . ’ā·zə·nā·yim Ezekiel 24:27 הַה֗וּא On that ha·hū בַּיּ֣וֹם day bay·yō·wm פִּ֙יךָ֙ your mouth pî·ḵā אֶת־ . . . ’eṯ- יִפָּ֤תַח will be opened yip·pā·ṯaḥ הַפָּלִ֔יט to him who has escaped ; hap·pā·lîṭ וּתְדַבֵּ֕ר you will speak ū·ṯə·ḏab·bêr וְלֹ֥א and no wə·lō ע֑וֹד longer ‘ō·wḏ תֵֽאָלֵ֖ם be mute . ṯê·’ā·lêm וְהָיִ֤יתָ So you will be wə·hā·yî·ṯā לְמוֹפֵ֔ת a sign lə·mō·w·p̄êṯ לָהֶם֙ to them , lā·hem וְיָדְע֖וּ and they will know wə·yā·ḏə·‘ū כִּֽי־ that kî- אֲנִ֥י I ’ă·nî יְהוָֽה׃ס am YHWH . ” Yah·weh Ezekiel 25:1 דְבַר־ Then the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִ֥י came way·hî אֵלַ֥י to me , ’ê·lay לֵאמֹֽר׃ saying , lê·mōr Ezekiel 25:2 בֶּן־ “ Son ben- אָדָ֕ם of man , ’ā·ḏām שִׂ֥ים set śîm פָּנֶ֖יךָ your face pā·ne·ḵā אֶל־ against ’el- בְּנֵ֣י the Ammonites bə·nê עַמּ֑וֹן . . . ‘am·mō·wn וְהִנָּבֵ֖א and prophesy wə·hin·nā·ḇê עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ against them . ‘ă·lê·hem Ezekiel 25:3 וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֙ Tell wə·’ā·mar·tā לִבְנֵ֣י the Ammonites liḇ·nê עַמּ֔וֹן . . . ‘am·mō·wn שִׁמְע֖וּ to hear šim·‘ū דְּבַר־ the word də·ḇar- אֲדֹנָ֣י of the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֑ה YHWH , Yah·weh כֹּה־ for this is what kōh- אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֡ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar יַעַן֩ ‘ Because ya·‘an אָמְרֵ֨ךְ you exclaimed , ’ā·mə·rêḵ הֶאָ֜ח “ Aha ! ” he·’āḥ אֶל־ ’el- מִקְדָּשִׁ֣י when My sanctuary miq·dā·šî כִֽי־ - ḵî- נִחָ֗ל was profaned , ni·ḥāl וְאֶל־ - wə·’el- אַדְמַ֤ת when the land ’aḏ·maṯ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ of Israel yiś·rā·’êl כִּ֣י - kî נָשַׁ֔מָּה was laid waste , nā·šam·māh וְאֶל־ and wə·’el- בֵּ֣ית when the house bêṯ יְהוּדָ֔ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh כִּ֥י - kî הָלְכ֖וּ went hā·lə·ḵū בַּגּוֹלָֽה׃ into exile , bag·gō·w·lāh Ezekiel 25:4 לָכֵ֡ן therefore lā·ḵên הִנְנִי֩ I will indeed hin·nî נֹתְנָ֨ךְ give you nō·ṯə·nāḵ לְמֽוֹרָשָׁ֗ה as a possession lə·mō·w·rā·šāh לִבְנֵי־ to the people liḇ·nê- קֶ֜דֶם of the East . qe·ḏem וְיִשְּׁב֤וּ They will set up wə·yiš·šə·ḇū טִירֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙ their camps ṭî·rō·w·ṯê·hem בָּ֔ךְ bāḵ וְנָ֥תְנוּ and pitch wə·nā·ṯə·nū מִשְׁכְּנֵיהֶ֑ם their tents miš·kə·nê·hem בָ֖ךְ among you . ḇāḵ הֵ֚מָּה They hêm·māh יֹאכְל֣וּ will eat yō·ḵə·lū פִרְיֵ֔ךְ your fruit p̄ir·yêḵ וְהֵ֖מָּה . . . wə·hêm·māh יִשְׁתּ֥וּ and drink yiš·tū חֲלָבֵֽךְ׃ your milk . ḥă·lā·ḇêḵ Ezekiel 25:5 וְנָתַתִּ֤י I will make wə·nā·ṯat·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ-
