לְמַ֛עַן so that lə·ma·‘an בְּנֵֽי־ vvv bə·nê- עַמּ֖וֹן the Ammonites ‘am·mō·wn לֹֽא־ will no longer lō- תִזָּכֵ֥ר be remembered ṯiz·zā·ḵêr בַּגּוֹיִֽם׃ among the nations . bag·gō·w·yim Ezekiel 25:11 אֶעֱשֶׂ֣ה So I will execute ’e·‘ĕ·śeh שְׁפָטִ֑ים judgments šə·p̄ā·ṭîm וּבְמוֹאָ֖ב on Moab , ū·ḇə·mō·w·’āḇ וְיָדְע֖וּ and they will know wə·yā·ḏə·‘ū כִּֽי־ that kî- אֲנִ֥י I ’ă·nî יְהוָֽה׃ס am YHWH . ’ Yah·weh Ezekiel 25:12 כֹּ֤ה This is what kōh אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַר֙ says : ’ā·mar יַ֣עַן ‘ Because ya·‘an אֱד֛וֹם Edom ’ĕ·ḏō·wm עֲשׂ֥וֹת acted ‘ă·śō·wṯ בִּנְקֹ֥ם vengefully bin·qōm נָקָ֖ם . . . nā·qām לְבֵ֣ית against the house lə·ḇêṯ יְהוּדָ֑ה of Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh וְנִקְּמ֥וּ and in [so doing] wə·niq·qə·mū בָהֶֽם׃ . . . ḇā·hem וַיֶּאְשְׁמ֥וּ incurred grievous guilt way·ye’·šə·mū אָשׁ֖וֹם . . . , ’ā·šō·wm Ezekiel 25:13 לָכֵ֗ן therefore lā·ḵên כֹּ֤ה this is what kōh אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַר֙ says : ’ā·mar וְנָטִ֤תִי I will stretch out wə·nā·ṭi·ṯî יָדִי֙ My hand yā·ḏî עַל־ against ‘al- אֱד֔וֹם Edom ’ĕ·ḏō·wm וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י and cut off wə·hiḵ·rat·tî מִמֶּ֖נָּה from it mim·men·nāh אָדָ֣ם both man ’ā·ḏām וּבְהֵמָ֑ה and beast . ū·ḇə·hê·māh וּנְתַתִּ֤יהָ I will make ū·nə·ṯat·tî·hā חָרְבָּה֙ it a wasteland , ḥā·rə·bāh מִתֵּימָ֔ן and from Teman mit·tê·mān וּדְדָ֖נֶה to Dedan ū·ḏə·ḏā·neh יִפֹּֽלוּ׃ they will fall yip·pō·lū בַּחֶ֥רֶב by the sword . ba·ḥe·reḇ Ezekiel 25:14 וְנָתַתִּ֨י I will take wə·nā·ṯat·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נִקְמָתִ֜י My vengeance niq·mā·ṯî בֶּאֱד֗וֹם on Edom be·’ĕ·ḏō·wm בְּיַד֙ by the hand bə·yaḏ עַמִּ֣י of My people ‘am·mî יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל Israel , yiś·rā·’êl וְעָשׂ֣וּ and they will deal wə·‘ā·śū בֶאֱד֔וֹם with Edom ḇe·’ĕ·ḏō·wm כְּאַפִּ֖י according to My anger kə·’ap·pî וְכַחֲמָתִ֑י and wrath . wə·ḵa·ḥă·mā·ṯî וְיָֽדְעוּ֙ Then they will know wə·yā·ḏə·‘ū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נִקְמָתִ֔י My vengeance , niq·mā·ṯî נְאֻ֖ם declares nə·’um אֲדֹנָ֥י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִֽה׃פ YHWH . ’ Yah·weh Ezekiel 25:15 כֹּ֤ה This is what kōh אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַר֙ says : ’ā·mar יַ֛עַן ‘ Because ya·‘an פְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים the Philistines pə·liš·tîm עֲשׂ֥וֹת acted ‘ă·śō·wṯ בִּנְקָמָ֑ה in vengeance , bin·qā·māh וַיִּנָּקְמ֤וּ taking way·yin·nā·qə·mū נָקָם֙ vengeance nā·qām בִּשְׁאָ֣ט with malice biš·’āṭ בְּנֶ֔פֶשׁ of soul bə·ne·p̄eš לְמַשְׁחִ֖ית to destroy [Judah] lə·maš·ḥîṯ עוֹלָֽם׃ with ancient ‘ō·w·lām אֵיבַ֥ת hostility , ’ê·ḇaṯ Ezekiel 25:16 לָכֵ֗ן therefore lā·ḵên כֹּ֤ה this is what kōh אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy
