וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- זִמָּתֵךְ֙ your indecency zim·mā·ṯêḵ זְנוּתֵ֖ךְ and prostitution , zə·nū·ṯêḵ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ which began in the land mê·’e·reṣ מִצְרָ֑יִם of Egypt , miṣ·rā·yim וְלֹֽא־ and you will not wə·lō- תִשְׂאִ֤י lift ṯiś·’î עֵינַ֙יִךְ֙ your eyes ‘ê·na·yiḵ אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם to them ’ă·lê·hem תִזְכְּרִי־ or remember ṯiz·kə·rî- וּמִצְרַ֖יִם Egypt ū·miṣ·ra·yim לֹ֥א . . . lō עֽוֹד׃ס anymore . ’ ‘ō·wḏ Ezekiel 23:28 כִּ֣י For kî כֹ֤ה this is what ḵōh אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַר֙ says : ’ā·mar הִנְנִי֙ ‘ Surely hin·nî נֹֽתְנָ֔ךְ I will deliver you nō·ṯə·nāḵ בְּיַ֖ד into the hands bə·yaḏ אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer שָׂנֵ֑את of those you hate , śā·nêṯ בְּיַ֛ד . . . bə·yaḏ אֲשֶׁר־ from whom ’ă·šer- נַפְשֵׁ֖ךְ you turned away nap̄·šêḵ מֵהֶֽם׃ . . . mê·hem נָקְעָ֥ה in disgust . nā·qə·‘āh Ezekiel 23:29 וְעָשׂ֨וּ They will treat wə·‘ā·śū אוֹתָ֜ךְ . . . ’ō·w·ṯāḵ בְּשִׂנְאָ֗ה you with hatred , bə·śin·’āh וְלָקְחוּ֙ take wə·lā·qə·ḥū כָּל־ all for which kāl- יְגִיעֵ֔ךְ you have worked , yə·ḡî·‘êḵ וַעֲזָב֖וּךְ and leave you wa·‘ă·zā·ḇūḵ עֵירֹ֣ם naked ‘ê·rōm וְעֶרְיָ֑ה and bare , wə·‘er·yāh עֶרְוַ֣ת so that the shame ‘er·waṯ זְנוּנַ֔יִךְ of your prostitution zə·nū·na·yiḵ וְנִגְלָה֙ will be exposed . wə·niḡ·lāh וְזִמָּתֵ֖ךְ Your indecency wə·zim·mā·ṯêḵ וְתַזְנוּתָֽיִךְ׃ and promiscuity wə·ṯaz·nū·ṯā·yiḵ Ezekiel 23:30 עָשֹׂ֥ה have brought ‘ā·śōh אֵ֖לֶּה these things ’êl·leh לָ֑ךְ upon you , lāḵ בִּזְנוֹתֵךְ֙ because you have prostituted yourself biz·nō·w·ṯêḵ אַחֲרֵ֣י with ’a·ḥă·rê גוֹיִ֔ם the nations ḡō·w·yim עַ֥ל . . . ‘al אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- נִטְמֵ֖את and defiled yourself niṭ·mêṯ בְּגִלּוּלֵיהֶֽם׃ with their idols . bə·ḡil·lū·lê·hem Ezekiel 23:31 הָלָ֑כְתְּ Because you have followed hā·lā·ḵət בְּדֶ֥רֶךְ the path bə·ḏe·reḵ אֲחוֹתֵ֖ךְ of your sister , ’ă·ḥō·w·ṯêḵ וְנָתַתִּ֥י I will put wə·nā·ṯat·tî כוֹסָ֖הּ her cup ḵō·w·sāh בְּיָדֵֽךְ׃ס into your hand . ’ bə·yā·ḏêḵ Ezekiel 23:32 כֹּ֤ה This is what kōh אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהֹוִ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַר֙ says : ’ā·mar תִּשְׁתִּ֔י ‘ You will drink tiš·tî אֲחוֹתֵךְ֙ your sister’s ’ă·ḥō·w·ṯêḵ כּ֤וֹס cup , kō·ws הָעֲמֻקָּ֖ה a cup deep hā·‘ă·muq·qāh וְהָרְחָבָ֑ה and wide . wə·hā·rə·ḥā·ḇāh תִּהְיֶ֥ה It will bring tih·yeh לִצְחֹ֛ק scorn liṣ·ḥōq וּלְלַ֖עַג and derision , ū·lə·la·‘aḡ לְהָכִֽיל׃ for it holds lə·hā·ḵîl מִרְבָּ֥ה so much . mir·bāh Ezekiel 23:33 תִּמָּלֵ֑אִי You will be filled tim·mā·lê·’î שִׁכָּר֥וֹן with drunkenness šik·kā·rō·wn וְיָג֖וֹן and grief , wə·yā·ḡō·wn כּ֚וֹס with a cup kō·ws שַׁמָּ֣ה of devastation šam·māh וּשְׁמָמָ֔ה and desolation , ū·šə·mā·māh כּ֖וֹס the cup kō·ws אֲחוֹתֵ֥ךְ of your sister ’ă·ḥō·w·ṯêḵ שֹׁמְרֽוֹן׃ Samaria . šō·mə·rō·wn
