אוֹתָהּ֙ with her ’ō·w·ṯāh בִנְעוּרֶ֔יהָ in her youth , ḇin·‘ū·re·hā וְהֵ֥מָּה . . . wə·hêm·māh עִשּׂ֖וּ caressed ‘iś·śū בְתוּלֶ֑יהָ her virgin ḇə·ṯū·le·hā דַּדֵּ֣י bosom , dad·dê וַיִּשְׁפְּכ֥וּ and poured out way·yiš·pə·ḵū תַזְנוּתָ֖ם their lust ṯaz·nū·ṯām עָלֶֽיהָ׃ upon her . ‘ā·le·hā Ezekiel 23:9 לָכֵ֥ן Therefore lā·ḵên נְתַתִּ֖יהָ I delivered her nə·ṯat·tî·hā בְּיַד־ into the hands bə·yaḏ- מְאַֽהֲבֶ֑יהָ of her lovers , mə·’a·hă·ḇe·hā בְּיַד֙ . . . bə·yaḏ בְּנֵ֣י the Assyrians bə·nê אַשּׁ֔וּר . . . ’aš·šūr אֲשֶׁ֥ר for whom ’ă·šer עָגְבָ֖ה she lusted ‘ā·ḡə·ḇāh עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ . ‘ă·lê·hem Ezekiel 23:10 הֵמָּה֮ They hêm·māh גִּלּ֣וּ exposed gil·lū עֶרְוָתָהּ֒ her nakedness , ‘er·wā·ṯāh לָקָ֔חוּ seized lā·qā·ḥū וְאוֹתָ֖הּ - wə·’ō·w·ṯāh בָּנֶ֤יהָ her sons bā·ne·hā וּבְנוֹתֶ֙יהָ֙ and daughters , ū·ḇə·nō·w·ṯe·hā הָרָ֑גוּ and put her hā·rā·ḡū בַּחֶ֣רֶב to the sword . ba·ḥe·reḇ וַתְּהִי־ Thus she became wat·tə·hî- שֵׁם֙ a byword šêm לַנָּשִׁ֔ים among women , lan·nā·šîm עָ֥שׂוּ and they executed ‘ā·śū וּשְׁפוּטִ֖ים judgment ū·šə·p̄ū·ṭîm בָֽהּ׃ס against her . ḇāh Ezekiel 23:11 אֲחוֹתָ֣הּ Her sister ’ă·ḥō·w·ṯāh אָהֳלִיבָ֔ה Oholibah ’ā·ho·lî·ḇāh וַתֵּ֙רֶא֙ saw [this] , wat·tê·re עַגְבָתָ֖הּ yet in her lust ‘aḡ·ḇā·ṯāh מִמֶּ֑נָּה - mim·men·nāh וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- תַּ֨זְנוּתֶ֔יהָ prostitution taz·nū·ṯe·hā מִזְּנוּנֵ֖י . . . miz·zə·nū·nê וַתַּשְׁחֵ֥ת she was more depraved wat·taš·ḥêṯ אֲחוֹתָֽהּ׃ than her sister . ’ă·ḥō·w·ṯāh Ezekiel 23:12 עָגָ֜בָה She too lusted ‘ā·ḡā·ḇāh אֶל־ after ’el- בְּנֵי֩ the Assyrians bə·nê אַשּׁ֨וּר . . . — ’aš·šūr פַּח֨וֹת governors pa·ḥō·wṯ וּסְגָנִ֤ים and commanders , ū·sə·ḡā·nîm קְרֹבִים֙ warriors qə·rō·ḇîm לְבֻשֵׁ֣י dressed lə·ḇu·šê מִכְל֔וֹל in splendor , miḵ·lō·wl פָּרָשִׁ֖ים horsemen pā·rā·šîm רֹכְבֵ֣י riding on rō·ḵə·ḇê סוּסִ֑ים steeds , sū·sîm כֻּלָּֽם׃ all kul·lām חֶ֖מֶד desirable ḥe·meḏ בַּח֥וּרֵי young men . ba·ḥū·rê Ezekiel 23:13 וָאֵ֖רֶא And I saw wā·’ê·re כִּ֣י that kî נִטְמָ֑אָה she too had defiled herself ; niṭ·mā·’āh לִשְׁתֵּיהֶֽן׃ both of them liš·tê·hen אֶחָ֖ד had taken the same ’e·ḥāḏ דֶּ֥רֶךְ path . de·reḵ Ezekiel 23:14 וַתּ֖וֹסֶף But [Oholibah] carried wat·tō·w·sep̄ אֶל־ . . . ’el- תַּזְנוּתֶ֑יהָ her prostitution {even further} . taz·nū·ṯe·hā וַתֵּ֗רֶא She saw wat·tê·re אַנְשֵׁי֙ the men ’an·šê מְחֻקֶּ֣ה portrayed mə·ḥuq·qeh עַל־ on ‘al- הַקִּ֔יר the wall , haq·qîr צַלְמֵ֣י images ṣal·mê כַשְׂדִּיִּים of the Chaldeans , ḵaś·dī·yīm חֲקֻקִ֖ים engraved ḥă·qu·qîm בַּשָּׁשַֽׁר׃ in vermilion , baš·šā·šar Ezekiel 23:15 חֲגוֹרֵ֨י wearing ḥă·ḡō·w·rê אֵז֜וֹר belts ’ê·zō·wr
