הָ֣יוּ has used hā·yū לִזְרֹע֖וֹ his power liz·rō·‘ōw לְמַ֖עַן to lə·ma·‘an שְׁפָךְ־ shed šə·p̄āḵ- דָּֽם׃ blood . dām Ezekiel 22:7 אָ֤ב Father ’āḇ וָאֵם֙ and mother wā·’êm הֵקַ֣לּוּ are treated with contempt . hê·qal·lū בָ֔ךְ Within your walls ḇāḵ לַגֵּ֛ר the foreign resident lag·gêr עָשׂ֥וּ is exploited ‘ā·śū בַעֹ֖שֶׁק . . . ḇa·‘ō·šeq בְּתוֹכֵ֑ךְ - , bə·ṯō·w·ḵêḵ יָת֥וֹם the fatherless yā·ṯō·wm וְאַלְמָנָ֖ה and the widow wə·’al·mā·nāh ה֥וֹנוּ are oppressed hō·w·nū בָֽךְ׃ . ḇāḵ Ezekiel 22:8 בָּזִ֑ית You have despised bā·zîṯ קָדָשַׁ֖י My holy things qā·ḏā·šay וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- חִלָּֽלְתְּ׃ profaned ḥil·lā·lət שַׁבְּתֹתַ֖י My Sabbaths . šab·bə·ṯō·ṯay Ezekiel 22:9 בָ֖ךְ Among you ḇāḵ הָ֥יוּ are hā·yū רָכִ֛יל slanderous rā·ḵîl אַנְשֵׁ֥י men ’an·šê לְמַ֣עַן bent on lə·ma·‘an שְׁפָךְ־ - šə·p̄āḵ- דָּ֑ם bloodshed ; dām בָ֔ךְ within you ḇāḵ אָ֣כְלוּ are those who eat ’ā·ḵə·lū וְאֶל־ on wə·’el- הֶֽהָרִים֙ the mountain [shrines] he·hā·rîm עָשׂ֥וּ and commit ‘ā·śū זִמָּ֖ה acts of indecency zim·māh בְתוֹכֵֽךְ׃ - . ḇə·ṯō·w·ḵêḵ Ezekiel 22:10 בָ֑ךְ In you ḇāḵ גִּלָּה־ they have uncovered gil·lāh- עֶרְוַת־ the nakedness ‘er·waṯ- אָ֖ב of their fathers ; ’āḇ בָֽךְ׃ in you ḇāḵ עִנּוּ־ they violate ‘in·nū- טְמֵאַ֥ת women during their menstrual impurity ṭə·mê·’aṯ הַנִּדָּ֖ה . . . . han·nid·dāh Ezekiel 22:11 וְאִ֣ישׁ׀ One man wə·’îš עָשָׂה֙ commits ‘ā·śāh תּֽוֹעֵבָ֔ה an abomination tō·w·‘ê·ḇāh אֶת־ with ’eṯ- רֵעֵ֗הוּ his neighbor’s rê·‘ê·hū אֵ֣שֶׁת wife ; ’ê·šeṯ וְאִ֥ישׁ another wə·’îš אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְזִמָּ֑ה wickedly ḇə·zim·māh טִמֵּ֣א defiles ṭim·mê כַּלָּת֖וֹ his daughter-in-law ; kal·lā·ṯōw וְאִ֛ישׁ and yet another wə·’îš אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עִנָּה־ violates ‘in·nāh- בָֽךְ׃ ḇāḵ אֲחֹת֥וֹ his sister , ’ă·ḥō·ṯōw אָבִ֖יו his own father’s ’ā·ḇîw בַת־ daughter . ḇaṯ- Ezekiel 22:12 בָ֖ךְ In you ḇāḵ לָֽקְחוּ־ they take lā·qə·ḥū- שֹׁ֥חַד bribes šō·ḥaḏ לְמַ֣עַן to lə·ma·‘an שְׁפָךְ־ shed šə·p̄āḵ- דָּ֑ם blood . dām לָקַ֗חַתְּ You engage lā·qa·ḥat נֶ֧שֶׁךְ in usury , ne·šeḵ וַתְּבַצְּעִ֤י take wat·tə·ḇaṣ·ṣə·‘î וְתַרְבִּ֣ית excess interest , wə·ṯar·bîṯ בַּעֹ֔שֶׁק and extort ba·‘ō·šeq רֵעַ֙יִךְ֙ your neighbors . rê·‘a·yiḵ וְאֹתִ֣י But Me wə·’ō·ṯî שָׁכַ֔חַתְּ you have forgotten , šā·ḵa·ḥat נְאֻ֖ם declares nə·’um אֲדֹנָ֥י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִֽה׃ YHWH .
