יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ and tell them that wə·’ā·mar·tā אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם . . . ’ă·lê·hem כֹּ֥ה this is what kōh אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֑ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֖ר says : ’ā·mar זֹ֚את In this way zōṯ ע֗וֹד also ‘ō·wḏ אֲב֣וֹתֵיכֶ֔ם your fathers ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem גִּדְּפ֤וּ blasphemed gid·də·p̄ū אוֹתִי֙ Me ’ō·w·ṯî מָֽעַל׃ by their unfaithfulness mā·‘al בְּמַעֲלָ֥ם against bə·ma·‘ă·lām בִּ֖י Me . bî Ezekiel 20:28 וָאֲבִיאֵם֙ When I brought them wā·’ă·ḇî·’êm אֶל־ into ’el- הָאָ֔רֶץ the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁ֤ר that ’ă·šer נָשָׂ֙אתִי֙ I swore nā·śā·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יָדִ֔י - yā·ḏî לָתֵ֥ת to give lā·ṯêṯ אוֹתָ֖הּ - ’ō·w·ṯāh לָהֶ֑ם them lā·hem וַיִּרְאוּ֩ and they saw way·yir·’ū כָל־ any ḵāl רָמָ֜ה high rā·māh וְכָל־ . . . wə·ḵāl גִּבְעָ֨ה hill giḇ·‘āh עָבֹ֗ת or leafy ‘ā·ḇōṯ עֵ֣ץ tree , ‘êṣ שָׁ֤ם there šām וַיִּזְבְּחוּ־ they offered way·yiz·bə·ḥū- זִבְחֵיהֶם֙ their sacrifices , ziḇ·ḥê·hem וַיִּתְּנוּ־ presented way·yit·tə·nū- שָׁם֙ - šām קָרְבָּנָ֔ם offerings qā·rə·bā·nām כַּ֣עַס that provoked Me , ka·‘as אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיָּשִׂ֣ימוּ sent up way·yā·śî·mū שָׁ֗ם . . . šām נִיח֣וֹחֵיהֶ֔ם their fragrant nî·ḥō·w·ḥê·hem רֵ֚יחַ incense , rê·aḥ וַיַּסִּ֥יכוּ and poured out way·yas·sî·ḵū שָׁ֖ם . . . šām אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נִסְכֵּיהֶֽם׃ their drink offerings . nis·kê·hem Ezekiel 20:29 וָאֹמַ֣ר So I asked them : wā·’ō·mar אֲלֵהֶ֔ם . . . ’ă·lê·hem מָ֣ה ‘ What māh הַבָּמָ֔ה is this high place hab·bā·māh אֲשֶׁר־ to which ’ă·šer- אַתֶּ֥ם you ’at·tem הַבָּאִ֖ים go ? ’ hab·bā·’îm עַ֖ד ( And to ‘aḏ הַזֶּֽה׃ this haz·zeh הַיּ֥וֹם day hay·yō·wm שָׁ֑ם . . . šām וַיִּקָּרֵ֤א it is called way·yiq·qā·rê שְׁמָהּ֙ . . . šə·māh בָּמָ֔ה Bamah . ) bā·māh Ezekiel 20:30 לָכֵ֞ן Therefore lā·ḵên אֱמֹ֣ר׀ tell ’ĕ·mōr אֶל־ - ’el- בֵּ֣ית the house bêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl כֹּ֤ה that this is what kōh אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַר֙ says : ’ā·mar אַתֶּ֣ם Will you ’at·tem נִטְמְאִ֑ים defile yourselves niṭ·mə·’îm הַבְּדֶ֥רֶךְ the way hab·bə·ḏe·reḵ אֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם your fathers did , ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem זֹנִֽים׃ prostituting zō·nîm אַתֶּ֥ם yourselves ’at·tem וְאַחֲרֵ֥י with wə·’a·ḥă·rê שִׁקּוּצֵיהֶ֖ם their abominations ? šiq·qū·ṣê·hem Ezekiel 20:31 וּבִשְׂאֵ֣ת When you offer ū·ḇiś·’êṯ מַתְּנֹֽתֵיכֶ֡ם your gifts , mat·tə·nō·ṯê·ḵem בְּנֵיכֶ֨ם sacrificing your sons bə·nê·ḵem בְּֽהַעֲבִיר֩ . . . bə·ha·‘ă·ḇîr בָּאֵ֜שׁ in the fire , bā·’êš אַתֶּם֩ you ’at·tem נִטְמְאִ֤֨ים continue to defile niṭ·mə·’îm לְכָל־ yourselves with all lə·ḵāl גִּלּֽוּלֵיכֶם֙ your idols gil·lū·lê·ḵem
