שַׁבְּתוֹתַ֖י My Sabbaths . šab·bə·ṯō·w·ṯay וָאֹמַ֞ר So I resolved wā·’ō·mar לִשְׁפֹּ֧ךְ to pour liš·pōḵ חֲמָתִ֣י out My wrath ḥă·mā·ṯî עֲלֵיהֶ֗ם upon them ‘ă·lê·hem לְכַלּ֥וֹת and vent lə·ḵal·lō·wṯ אַפִּ֛י My anger ’ap·pî בָּ֖ם against them bām בַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃ in the wilderness . bam·miḏ·bār Ezekiel 20:22 וַהֲשִׁבֹ֙תִי֙ But I withheld wa·hă·ši·ḇō·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יָדִ֔י My hand yā·ḏî וָאַ֖עַשׂ and acted wā·’a·‘aś לְמַ֣עַן for the sake lə·ma·‘an שְׁמִ֑י of My name , šə·mî לְבִלְתִּ֤י so that it would not lə·ḇil·tî הֵחֵל֙ be profaned hê·ḥêl לְעֵינֵ֣י in the eyes lə·‘ê·nê הַגּוֹיִ֔ם of the nations hag·gō·w·yim אֲשֶׁר־ in whose ’ă·šer- לְעֵינֵיהֶֽם׃ sight lə·‘ê·nê·hem הוֹצֵ֥אתִי I had brought them out hō·w·ṣê·ṯî אוֹתָ֖ם - . ’ō·w·ṯām Ezekiel 20:23 גַּם־ However , gam- אֲנִ֗י vvv ’ă·nî נָשָׂ֧אתִי with an uplifted hand I swore nā·śā·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יָדִ֛י - yā·ḏî לָהֶ֖ם to them lā·hem בַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר in the wilderness bam·miḏ·bār לְהָפִ֤יץ that I would scatter lə·hā·p̄îṣ אֹתָם֙ them ’ō·ṯām בַּגּוֹיִ֔ם among the nations bag·gō·w·yim וּלְזָר֥וֹת and disperse ū·lə·zā·rō·wṯ אוֹתָ֖ם them ’ō·w·ṯām בָּאֲרָצֽוֹת׃ throughout the lands . bā·’ă·rā·ṣō·wṯ Ezekiel 20:24 יַ֜עַן For ya·‘an לֹֽא־ they did not lō- עָשׂוּ֙ practice ‘ā·śū מִשְׁפָּטַ֤י My ordinances , miš·pā·ṭay מָאָ֔סוּ but they rejected mā·’ā·sū וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- וְחֻקּוֹתַ֣י My statutes wə·ḥuq·qō·w·ṯay חִלֵּ֑לוּ and profaned ḥil·lê·lū וְאַחֲרֵי֙ . . . wə·’a·ḥă·rê שַׁבְּתוֹתַ֖י My Sabbaths , šab·bə·ṯō·w·ṯay הָי֖וּ fixing hā·yū עֵינֵיהֶֽם׃ their eyes ‘ê·nê·hem גִּלּוּלֵ֣י on the idols gil·lū·lê אֲבוֹתָ֔ם of their fathers . ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯām Ezekiel 20:25 אֲנִי֙ I ’ă·nî וְגַם־ also wə·ḡam- נָתַ֣תִּי gave them nā·ṯat·tî לָהֶ֔ם over lā·hem חֻקִּ֖ים to statutes ḥuq·qîm לֹ֣א that were not lō טוֹבִ֑ים good ṭō·w·ḇîm וּמִ֨שְׁפָּטִ֔ים and ordinances ū·miš·pā·ṭîm בָּהֶֽם׃ by which bā·hem לֹ֥א they could not lō יִֽחְי֖וּ live . yiḥ·yū Ezekiel 20:26 וָאֲטַמֵּ֤א And I pronounced them unclean wā·’ă·ṭam·mê אוֹתָם֙ - ’ō·w·ṯām בְּמַתְּנוֹתָ֔ם through their gifts — bə·mat·tə·nō·w·ṯām בְּהַעֲבִ֖יר the sacrifice bə·ha·‘ă·ḇîr כָּל־ of every kāl- פֶּ֣טֶר firstborn {in the fire} pe·ṭer רָ֑חַם . . . — rā·ḥam לְמַ֣עַן so that lə·ma·‘an אֲשִׁמֵּ֔ם I might devastate them , ’ă·šim·mêm לְמַ֙עַן֙ in order lə·ma·‘an אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer יֵֽדְע֔וּ they would know yê·ḏə·‘ū אֲשֶׁ֖ר that ’ă·šer אֲנִ֥י I ’ă·nî יְהוָֽה׃ס am YHWH . Yah·weh Ezekiel 20:27 לָכֵ֞ן Therefore , lā·ḵên בֶּן־ son ben- אָדָ֔ם of man , ’ā·ḏām דַּבֵּ֨ר speak dab·bêr אֶל־ to ’el- בֵּ֤ית the house bêṯ
