הָאָדָ֖םfor the manhā·’ā·ḏām

יַעֲשֶׂ֥הdoes [these things]ya·‘ă·śeh
אוֹתָ֛ם-’ō·w·ṯām
וָחַ֥יwill livewā·ḥay
בָּהֶֽם׃by them .bā·hem

נָתַ֣תִּיgavenā·ṯat·tî
לָהֶ֔םthemlā·hem
שַׁבְּתוֹתַי֙My Sabbathsšab·bə·ṯō·w·ṯay
לִהְי֣וֹתvvvlih·yō·wṯ
לְא֔וֹתas a signlə·’ō·wṯ
בֵּינִ֖יbetween usbê·nî
וּבֵֽינֵיהֶ֑ם . . . , ū·ḇê·nê·hem
לָדַ֕עַתso that they would knowlā·ḏa·‘aṯ
כִּ֛יthat
אֲנִ֥יI’ă·nî
יְהוָ֖הam YHWHYah·weh
מְקַדְּשָֽׁם׃who sanctifies them .mə·qad·də·šām

יִשְׂרָאֵ֜לof Israelyiś·rā·’êl
וַיַּמְרוּ־rebelledway·yam·rū-
בִ֨יagainst Meḇî
בַּמִּדְבָּ֗רin the wilderness .bam·miḏ·bār
לֹא־They did notlō-
הָלָ֜כוּfollowhā·lā·ḵū
וְאֶת־-wə·’eṯ-
בְּחֻקּוֹתַ֨יMy statutesbə·ḥuq·qō·w·ṯay
מָאָ֗סוּand they rejectedmā·’ā·sū
מִשְׁפָּטַ֣יMy ordinances —miš·pā·ṭay
הָֽאָדָם֙though the manhā·’ā·ḏām
אֲשֶׁר֩who’ă·šer
יַעֲשֶׂ֨הdoes [these things]ya·‘ă·śeh
אֹתָ֤ם-’ō·ṯām
וָחַ֣יwill livewā·ḥay
בָּהֶ֔םby them —bā·hem
וְאֶת־and theywə·’eṯ-
מְאֹ֑דutterlymə·’ōḏ
חִלְּל֣וּprofanedḥil·lə·lū
שַׁבְּתֹתַ֖יMy Sabbaths .šab·bə·ṯō·ṯay
וָאֹמַ֞רThen I resolvedwā·’ō·mar
לִשְׁפֹּ֨ךְto pourliš·pōḵ
חֲמָתִ֧יout My wrathḥă·mā·ṯî
עֲלֵיהֶ֛םupon them‘ă·lê·hem
לְכַלּוֹתָֽם׃and put an end to themlə·ḵal·lō·w·ṯām
בַּמִּדְבָּ֖רin the wilderness .bam·miḏ·bār
Ezekiel 20:14וָאֶעֱשֶׂ֖הBut I actedwā·’e·‘ĕ·śeh
לְמַ֣עַןfor the sakelə·ma·‘an
שְׁמִ֑י of My name , šə·mî
לְבִלְתִּ֤יso that it would notlə·ḇil·tî
הֵחֵל֙be profanedhê·ḥêl
לְעֵינֵ֣יin the eyeslə·‘ê·nê
הַגּוֹיִ֔םof the nationshag·gō·w·yim
אֲשֶׁ֥רin whose’ă·šer
לְעֵינֵיהֶֽם׃sightlə·‘ê·nê·hem
הוֹצֵאתִ֖יםI had brought them out .hō·w·ṣê·ṯîm
Ezekiel 20:15וְגַם־ Moreover , wə·ḡam-
יָדִ֛יwith an uplifted handyā·ḏî
אֲנִ֗יI’ă·nî
נָשָׂ֧אתִיsworenā·śā·ṯî
לָהֶ֖םto themlā·hem
בַּמִּדְבָּ֑רin the wildernessbam·miḏ·bār
לְבִלְתִּי֩that I would notlə·ḇil·tî
הָבִ֨יאbringhā·ḇî
אוֹתָ֜םthem’ō·w·ṯām
אֶל־into’el-
הָאָ֣רֶץthe landhā·’ā·reṣ
אֲשֶׁר־that’ă·šer-
נָתַ֗תִּיI had given [them] —nā·ṯat·tî
זָבַ֤ת[a land] flowingzā·ḇaṯ
חָלָב֙with milkḥā·lāḇ
וּדְבַ֔שׁ and honey , ū·ḏə·ḇaš
צְבִ֥יthe gloryṣə·ḇî
הִ֖יא. . .
לְכָל־of alllə·ḵāl
הָאֲרָצֽוֹת׃lands —hā·’ă·rā·ṣō·wṯ
