יְהוָ֥ה am YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ your God . ’ ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem Ezekiel 20:6 הַה֗וּא On that ha·hū בַּיּ֣וֹם day bay·yō·wm נָשָׂ֤אתִי I swore nā·śā·ṯî יָדִי֙ . . . yā·ḏî לָהֶ֔ם - lā·hem לְהֽוֹצִיאָ֖ם to bring them lə·hō·w·ṣî·’ām מֵאֶ֣רֶץ out of the land mê·’e·reṣ מִצְרָ֑יִם of Egypt miṣ·rā·yim אֶל־ into ’el- אֶ֜רֶץ a land ’e·reṣ אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- תַּ֣רְתִּי I had searched out tar·tî לָהֶ֗ם for them , lā·hem זָבַ֤ת a land flowing zā·ḇaṯ חָלָב֙ with milk ḥā·lāḇ וּדְבַ֔שׁ and honey , ū·ḏə·ḇaš צְבִ֥י the glory ṣə·ḇî הִ֖יא . . . hî לְכָל־ of all lə·ḵāl הָאֲרָצֽוֹת׃ lands . hā·’ă·rā·ṣō·wṯ Ezekiel 20:7 וָאֹמַ֣ר And I said wā·’ō·mar אֲלֵהֶ֗ם to them : ’ă·lê·hem אִ֣ישׁ ‘ Each of you ’îš הַשְׁלִ֔יכוּ must throw away haš·lî·ḵū שִׁקּוּצֵ֤י the abominations šiq·qū·ṣê עֵינָיו֙ before his eyes , ‘ê·nāw אַל־ and you must not ’al- תִּטַּמָּ֑אוּ defile yourselves tiṭ·ṭam·mā·’ū וּבְגִלּוּלֵ֥י with the idols ū·ḇə·ḡil·lū·lê מִצְרַ֖יִם of Egypt . miṣ·ra·yim אֲנִ֖י I ’ă·nî יְהוָ֥ה am YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ your God . ’ ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem Ezekiel 20:8 וַיַּמְרוּ־ But they rebelled way·yam·rū- בִ֗י against Me ḇî וְלֹ֤א and refused wə·lō אָבוּ֙ . . . ’ā·ḇū לִּשְׁמֹ֣עַ to listen liš·mō·a‘ אֵלַ֔י - . ’ê·lay אִ֣ישׁ None of them ’îš אֶת־ - ’eṯ- לֹ֣א - lō הִשְׁלִ֔יכוּ cast away hiš·lî·ḵū וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- שִׁקּוּצֵ֤י the abominations šiq·qū·ṣê עֵֽינֵיהֶם֙ before their eyes , ‘ê·nê·hem לֹ֣א and they did not lō עָזָ֑בוּ forsake ‘ā·zā·ḇū גִּלּוּלֵ֥י the idols gil·lū·lê מִצְרַ֖יִם of Egypt . miṣ·ra·yim וָאֹמַ֞ר So I resolved wā·’ō·mar לִשְׁפֹּ֧ךְ to pour out liš·pōḵ חֲמָתִ֣י My wrath ḥă·mā·ṯî עֲלֵיהֶ֗ם upon them ‘ă·lê·hem לְכַלּ֤וֹת and vent lə·ḵal·lō·wṯ אַפִּי֙ My anger ’ap·pî בָּהֶ֔ם against them bā·hem בְּת֖וֹךְ in bə·ṯō·wḵ אֶ֥רֶץ the land ’e·reṣ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ of Egypt . miṣ·rā·yim Ezekiel 20:9 וָאַ֙עַשׂ֙ But I acted wā·’a·‘aś לְמַ֣עַן for the sake lə·ma·‘an שְׁמִ֔י of My name , šə·mî לְבִלְתִּ֥י that it should not lə·ḇil·tî הֵחֵ֛ל be profaned hê·ḥêl לְעֵינֵ֥י in the eyes lə·‘ê·nê הַגּוֹיִ֖ם of the nations hag·gō·w·yim אֲשֶׁר־ among whom ’ă·šer- הֵ֣מָּה they were living hêm·māh בְתוֹכָ֑ם . . . , ḇə·ṯō·w·ḵām אֲשֶׁ֨ר in whose ’ă·šer לְעֵ֣ינֵיהֶ֔ם sight lə·‘ê·nê·hem נוֹדַ֤עְתִּי I had revealed Myself nō·w·ḏa‘·tî אֲלֵיהֶם֙ to [Israel] ’ă·lê·hem לְהוֹצִיאָ֖ם by bringing them lə·hō·w·ṣî·’ām מֵאֶ֥רֶץ out of the land mê·’e·reṣ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ of Egypt . miṣ·rā·yim Ezekiel 20:10 וָאֽוֹצִיאֵ֖ם So I brought them wā·’ō·w·ṣî·’êm מֵאֶ֣רֶץ out of the land mê·’e·reṣ מִצְרָ֑יִם of Egypt miṣ·rā·yim וָאֲבִאֵ֖ם and led them wā·’ă·ḇi·’êm אֶל־ into ’el- הַמִּדְבָּֽר׃ the wilderness . ham·miḏ·bār
