Ezekiel 18:11 וְה֕וּא though the father wə·hū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עָשָׂ֑ה has done ‘ā·śāh כִּ֣י . . . kî כָּל־ none kāl- לֹ֣א . . . lō אֵ֖לֶּה of them : ’êl·leh גַ֤ם Indeed , ḡam אָכַ֔ל the son eats ’ā·ḵal וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- אֶל־ at ’el- הֶֽהָרִים֙ the mountain he·hā·rîm טִמֵּֽא׃ and defiles ṭim·mê רֵעֵ֖הוּ his neighbor’s rê·‘ê·hū אֵ֥שֶׁת wife . ’ê·šeṯ Ezekiel 18:12 הוֹנָ֔ה He oppresses hō·w·nāh עָנִ֤י the poor ‘ā·nî וְאֶבְיוֹן֙ and needy ; wə·’eḇ·yō·wn גְּזֵל֣וֹת he commits robbery gə·zê·lō·wṯ גָּזָ֔ל . . . gā·zāl לֹ֣א and does not lō יָשִׁ֑יב restore yā·šîḇ חֲבֹ֖ל a pledge . ḥă·ḇōl נָשָׂ֣א He lifts nā·śā עֵינָ֔יו his eyes ‘ê·nāw וְאֶל־ to wə·’el- הַגִּלּוּלִים֙ idols ; hag·gil·lū·lîm עָשָֽׂה׃ he commits ‘ā·śāh תּוֹעֵבָ֖ה abominations . tō·w·‘ê·ḇāh Ezekiel 18:13 נָתַ֛ן He engages nā·ṯan בַּנֶּ֧שֶׁךְ in usury ban·ne·šeḵ לָקַ֖ח and takes lā·qaḥ וְתַרְבִּ֥ית excess interest . wə·ṯar·bîṯ וָחָ֑י Will [this son] live ? wā·ḥāy לֹ֣א He will not lō יִֽחְיֶ֗ה . . . ! yiḥ·yeh אֵ֣ת - ’êṯ עָשָׂ֔ה Since he has committed ‘ā·śāh כָּל־ all kāl- הָאֵ֙לֶּה֙ these hā·’êl·leh הַתּוֹעֵב֤וֹת abominations , hat·tō·w·‘ê·ḇō·wṯ מ֣וֹת he will surely die mō·wṯ יוּמָ֔ת . . . ; yū·māṯ דָּמָ֖יו his blood dā·māw יִהְיֶֽה׃ will be yih·yeh בּ֥וֹ on his own head . bōw Ezekiel 18:14 וְהִנֵּה֙ Now wə·hin·nêh הוֹלִ֣יד suppose [this son] has hō·w·lîḏ בֵּ֔ן a son bên וַיַּ֕רְא who sees way·yar אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- חַטֹּ֥את the sins ḥaṭ·ṭōṯ אָבִ֖יו his father ’ā·ḇîw אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer עָשָׂ֑ה has committed , ‘ā·śāh וַיִּרְאֶ֕ה considers them , way·yir·’eh וְלֹ֥א and does not wə·lō יַעֲשֶׂ֖ה do likewise ya·‘ă·śeh כָּהֵֽן׃ . . . : kā·hên Ezekiel 18:15 לֹ֣א He does not lō אָכָ֔ל eat ’ā·ḵāl עַל־ at ‘al- הֶֽהָרִים֙ the mountain he·hā·rîm לֹ֣א [or] lō נָשָׂ֔א look nā·śā וְעֵינָיו֙ . . . wə·‘ê·nāw אֶל־ to ’el- גִּלּוּלֵ֖י the idols gil·lū·lê בֵּ֣ית of the house bêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel . yiś·rā·’êl אֶת־ - ’eṯ- לֹ֥א He does not lō טִמֵּֽא׃ defile ṭim·mê רֵעֵ֖הוּ his neighbor’s rê·‘ê·hū אֵ֥שֶׁת wife . ’ê·šeṯ Ezekiel 18:16 לֹ֣א He does not lō הוֹנָ֔ה oppress hō·w·nāh וְאִישׁ֙ another , wə·’îš חָבָ֔ל or retain ḥā·ḇāl חֲבֹל֙ a pledge , ḥă·ḇōl לֹ֣א . . . lō
