שְׂמֹאולֵ֑ךְ your north ; śə·mō·w·lêḵ הַקְּטַנָּ֣ה and your younger haq·qə·ṭan·nāh וַאֲחוֹתֵ֞ךְ sister wa·’ă·ḥō·w·ṯêḵ סְדֹ֖ם was Sodom , sə·ḏōm הַיּוֹשֶׁ֙בֶת֙ who lived hay·yō·wō·še·ḇeṯ וּבְנוֹתֶֽיהָ׃ with her daughters ū·ḇə·nō·w·ṯe·hā מִמֵּ֗ךְ to mim·mêḵ מִֽימִינֵ֔ךְ your south . mî·mî·nêḵ Ezekiel 16:47 וְלֹ֤א And you not only wə·lō הָלַ֔כְתְּ walked hā·laḵt מֵהֵ֖ן in their mê·hên בְּכָל־ - bə·ḵāl דְּרָכָֽיִךְ׃ - də·rā·ḵā·yiḵ בְדַרְכֵיהֶן֙ ways ḇə·ḏar·ḵê·hen עָשִׂיתִי and practiced ʿå̄·śī·ṯī וּבְתוֹעֲבֽוֹתֵיהֶ֖ן their abominations , ū·ḇə·ṯō·w·‘ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·hen כִּמְעַ֣ט but soon you were kim·‘aṭ קָ֔ט . . . qāṭ וַתַּשְׁחִ֥תִי more depraved than they were . wat·taš·ḥi·ṯî Ezekiel 16:48 אָ֗נִי As surely as I ’ā·nî חַי־ live , ḥay- נְאֻם֙ declares nə·’um אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֔ה YHWH , Yah·weh אֲחוֹתֵ֔ךְ your sister ’ă·ḥō·w·ṯêḵ הִ֖יא . . . hî סְדֹ֣ם Sodom sə·ḏōm וּבְנוֹתֶ֑יהָ and her daughters ū·ḇə·nō·w·ṯe·hā אִם־ never ’im- עָֽשְׂתָה֙ did ‘ā·śə·ṯāh כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר as ka·’ă·šer אַ֖תְּ you ’at וּבְנוֹתָֽיִךְ׃ and your daughters ū·ḇə·nō·w·ṯā·yiḵ עָשִׂ֔ית have done . ‘ā·śîṯ Ezekiel 16:49 הִנֵּה־ Now hin·nêh- זֶ֣ה this zeh הָיָ֔ה was hā·yāh עֲוֺ֖ן the iniquity ‘ă·wōn אֲחוֹתֵ֑ךְ of your sister ’ă·ḥō·w·ṯêḵ סְדֹ֣ם Sodom : sə·ḏōm לָהּ֙ She lāh וְלִבְנוֹתֶ֔יהָ and her daughters wə·liḇ·nō·w·ṯe·hā וְיַד־ . . . wə·yaḏ- הָ֤יָה were hā·yāh גָּא֨וֹן arrogant , gā·’ō·wn שִׂבְעַת־ overfed śiḇ·‘aṯ- לֶ֜חֶם . . . , le·ḥem הַשְׁקֵ֗ט and complacent haš·qêṭ וְשַׁלְוַ֣ת . . . ; wə·šal·waṯ לֹ֥א they did not lō הֶחֱזִֽיקָה׃ help he·ḥĕ·zî·qāh עָנִ֥י the poor ‘ā·nî וְאֶבְי֖וֹן and needy . wə·’eḇ·yō·wn Ezekiel 16:50 וַֽתִּגְבְּהֶ֔ינָה Thus they were haughty wat·tiḡ·bə·he·nāh וַתַּעֲשֶׂ֥ינָה and committed wat·ta·‘ă·śe·nāh תוֹעֵבָ֖ה abominations ṯō·w·‘ê·ḇāh לְפָנָ֑י before Me . lə·p̄ā·nāy וָאָסִ֥יר Therefore I removed wā·’ā·sîr אֶתְהֶ֖ן them , ’eṯ·hen כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר as ka·’ă·šer רָאִֽיתִי׃ס you have seen . rā·’î·ṯî Ezekiel 16:51 וְשֹׁ֣מְר֔וֹן Furthermore, Samaria wə·šō·mə·rō·wn לֹ֣א did not lō חָטָ֑אָה commit ḥā·ṭā·’āh כַּחֲצִ֥י half ka·ḥă·ṣî חַטֹּאתַ֖יִךְ the sins you did . ḥaṭ·ṭō·ṯa·yiḵ וַתַּרְבִּ֤י You have multiplied wat·tar·bî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- תּוֹעֲבוֹתַ֙יִךְ֙ your abominations tō·w·‘ă·ḇō·w·ṯa·yiḵ מֵהֵ֔נָּה beyond theirs , mê·hên·nāh בְּכָל־ and all bə·ḵāl תּוֹעֲבוֹתַ֖יִךְ the abominations tō·w·‘ă·ḇō·w·ṯa·yiḵ אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer עָשִׂיתי׃ you have committed ʿå̄·śī·ṯ אֲחוֹתֵךְ have made your sisters ʾă·ḥō·ṯēḵ וַתְּצַדְּקִי֙ appear righteous wat·tə·ṣad·də·qî אֶת־ - . ’eṯ- Ezekiel 16:52 גַּם־ So now gam- אַ֣תְּ׀ you ’at שְׂאִ֣י must bear śə·’î כְלִמָּתֵ֗ךְ your disgrace , ḵə·lim·mā·ṯêḵ אֲשֶׁ֤ר since ’ă·šer
